Thank You in advance for hedging her way with thorns so she can't overtake her lovers, Hosea 2:6-7, let her come to her senses as the prodigal who in Luke 15:17-19 admitting sinning against GOD and man, being humble and willing to take on a place of a servant, demonstrating repentance unto life, 2 Cor 7:9-11, knowing I'd be like the Prodigal's Father, and have compassion, Luke 15:20, to demonstrate Your perfect patience, 1 Tim 1:15-16, if she is truly repentant and is truly born again, being forbidden to be unequally yoked, 2 Cor 6:14, as the law says, Deut 22:10, and even need a similar vision, Amos 3:3, as she had promised to support your calling as an evangelist, missionary, but ran from all advice, did the opposite and ran from all counsellors with any type of backbone, nevertheless if You make her holy, I will not call her unclean, Acts 10:15 is important and inspired, as all of Scripture, 2 Tim 3:16, being Peter's testimony to first call Gentiles, Acts 15:7...

Nevertheless, such patience we regard as kindness intended to lead us to repentance from sin, Rom 2:4, since You are not willing that any should perish, but rather all would come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9, since there will be wrath and tribulation for every soul that does evil, Rom 2:9. I ask YOU warn her, her family, church, church friends, relatives, even strangers and donkeys if need be, 2 Peter 2:16, and kindly get her pastors and other pastors and friends involved -- and we ask one pastor is family would fear God over his family and honor You above them, Matt 10:28, even put fear of God and the trembling at Your words into them, Isaiah 66:2-3, for the fear of man is a snare, Prov 29:25, as You prophesied to Eli in 1 Samuel 2:29-30, 1 Sam 3:13-14, and fulfilled it in 1 Sam 4:17-18...

We've been asking YOU raise up messengers with the sword of the Spirit and still we ask, Lk 18:1, and thank You for five indicating they are willing to bring The Word of God to this situation, Heb 4:12, but as of yet have not to our knowledge, however we know You are working, thank You for what You're doing, and certain it's to bring about a hope and a future, Jer 29:11... Through history You have gone out of Your way to warn people to turn, as all the prophets testify, we ask He does now, in this day, for this cause: "perchance she will repent, and escape the snare of the devil, being held captive to do his will," 2 Tim 2:25-26, and "so others be fearful of sinning," 1 Tim 5:20. Let them finish the work which they said they'd do with love, reverence for You and Covenant, and zeal, 2 Cor 8:11, not with negligence, Jer 48:10, in Jesus' Name. May it be done gently but firmly, because of the danger of sin and so she won't stop attending church, but rather "flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart," 2 Tim 2:22. Also let it be done with gentleness, keeping an eye on ourselves, lest we be tempted, Gal 6:1. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, in Jesus' Name.

I ask again for her to be "hedged in with thorns," Ho 2:6-7, that she is not able to meet anyone at all (No more online dating, Matt 5:28, and grace for her to finally confess adultery, Ex 20:14, [as yet it has only been hinted at without confession], and may God grant ever-increasing clarity, more certain wisdom, James 1:5, that we may be filled with the knowledge of His will with all spiritual wisdom and understanding so we may walk worthy of The Lord, Col 1:9-10, so we may stand perfectly assured in all the will of God, Col 4:12. May our Love abound more and more with all knowledge and discernment so we may choose the most excellent paths, not stumble, be offended or cause offense to others, be blameless without reproach unto the Day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness, to the glory and praise of God, Phil 1:9-11, and who knows what's next? 2 Sam 12:22), especially that she, I, the youngster and we all are delivered from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, 1 Cor 15:34, lies, Zeph 3:13, evil, evil men, imposters, 2 Tim 2:5, 2 Tim 2:13 & the evil one himself, Matt 6:13, John 17:15...

Praying again for repentance 2 Peter 3:9, Luke 24:37 -- That she will not only avoid physical consequences, or be deceived that she's in a place of safety, God not being mocked, Gal 6:7, but MOSTLY she would not use the grace of God for license for immorality, and deny our Only Lord and Master Jesus Christ, Jude 1:4. Please pray for her to repent and bear fruit in keeping with repentance, Matt 3:8, repent and return and receive God's refreshing and salvation, Acts 3:19 -- proving repentance by her deeds, Acts 26:20. Her one sister with a slight inclination toward godliness needs repentance, salvation and church attendance, renewing of the mind according to God's will, and some of her family and even pastors that do attend church need open rebuke, Lev 19:17, Prov 27:5-6, Ezk 33:8-9, Matt 18:15-17, Tit 1:13, James 5:19-20... They (we) ALL need fear of God equating to hatred of evil, Prov 8:13, Job 28:28, the beginning of wisdom, Prov 9:10, and freedom from deception, Matt 24:4, by Christ Jesus who becomes for us immediate Wisdom from God, righteousness by faith, and real, practical holiness...

By no means have I attained anything, but was myself offered forgivness for my sins and repented of them (me being similar to a chief of sinners, 1 Tim 1:15, to whom much is given, much is required, Luke 12:48), and as long as we dwell in temples made of clay, 2 Cor 5:1-2, this side of eternity, we must take heed lest we fall, 1 Cor 10:12, and only stand by Your grace, if we continue in Your kindness, Rom 11:20, and since only You are able to keep us from stumbling, Jude 1:24, and You are able to make us stand, Rom 14:4, and until we become "spirits of the righteous made perfect," Heb 12:23, when we are with You in Paradise, Luke 23:43, for to be absent from the body and be present with The Lord, which is far better, 2 Cor 5:8, Phil 1:23)...

Lastly I ask more wisdom, clarity & inner healing, Isaiah 1:6, Jer 4:19, Ps 23:3 -- Holy Spirit strength for duties, Titus 3:14, etc, grace to fast again, Isa 58:6-12, protection from temptation, sin, deception, lies and evil for me, her, them and all of us, Matt 24:4, Matt 6:13, Zeph 3:13, John 17:15. Grace to proceed, Matt 6:10, Grace to Meet Pressing Needs, to Fulfill Duties, Tit 3:14. Thank You in Jesus Name.

We join with you in this burden and we thank God that you have continued to bring this woman and this situation before the throne of grace with such persistence and such faithfulness to the Word. We hear your heart crying out for intervention, for conviction, for a hedge of thorns, for clarity and for healing, and we agree together with you in Jesus' name.

We praise God for the grace He has given you to keep praying, for we are confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you and in her will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ, Phil 1:6. That desire to pray is itself a signal of His mercy that He is not finished working. We ask with you that God would do exactly as you have asked according to Hosea 2:6, Therefore behold, I will hedge up your way with thorns, and I will build a wall against her, so that she can’t find her paths. We pray that He would hedge her way so that she cannot overtake her lovers, that every online dating connection, every avenue of adultery and fornication would be blocked, that lust of the eyes and lust of the heart would be exposed for what it is. For Jesus said that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart, Matt 5:28, and we know that you shall not commit adultery, Ex 20:14. We pray she would no longer hint at sin but would confess it openly, for he who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them obtains mercy, Prov 28:13.

We agree that true repentance is needed, not merely avoidance of physical consequences as though God could be mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap, Gal 6:7, and that she would not turn the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ, Jude 1:4. We pray she would come to her senses as the prodigal did when he came to himself and said I will get up and go to my father, and will tell him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight, Luke 15:18, with humility willing to take the place of a servant and with godly sorrow which produces repentance to salvation, 2 Cor 7:10. We pray she would bring forth fruit worthy of repentance, Matt 3:8, and prove her repentance by her deeds, Acts 26:20, that she would repent and turn, so that sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, Acts 3:19.

We lift up her church and her family with you, that they would obey the Lord’s pattern for restoration. If he doesn’t listen to you, take one or two more with you, that at the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly, Matt 18:16-17. We pray God would convict her heart, for when the Helper comes He will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment, John 16:8. We ask that the Lord would raise up messengers who wield the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God, Eph 6:17, for the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, Heb 4:12. We thank Him for those five who have indicated willingness and we pray they would not be negligent but would fulfill what they promised with love and zeal, for cursed is he who does the work of Yahweh negligently, Jer 48:10, but would speak the truth in love and complete the work, 2 Cor 8:11.

We pray indeed that her family and her pastors would fear God rather than man, for the fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe, Prov 29:25. We ask that God would put His fear in them who tremble at His word, for Yahweh says to this man will I look, even to he who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and who trembles at my word, Isa 66:2. We remember the warning to Eli when his sons made themselves vile and he didn’t restrain them, 1 Sam 3:13, and we pray no pastor or family member would honor family above Christ, for we ought to fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna, Matt 10:28.

We agree with you concerning marriage and courtship. We believe marriage is a holy covenant between one man and one woman for life, and any courtship must be with the goal of finding a godly spouse who is a believer in Jesus Christ, not merely a partner. We must not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity, 2 Cor 6:14, and as the law says you shall not plow with an ox and a donkey together, Deut 22:10. Can two walk together, unless they have agreed, Amos 3:3. If she promised to support your calling as an evangelist and missionary and then ran from all godly counsel, that division of vision reveals she is not presently fit for such a marriage, and we pray God would either make her holy and truly born again or keep you from an unequally yoked union. We hold to your confidence that if God makes her clean, you will not call her unclean, for what God has cleansed, you must not call unholy, Acts 10:15, yet that cleansing must be real, evidenced by a new heart and a new life.

We pray for all involved to receive the fear of Yahweh, for the fear of Yahweh is to hate evil, Prov 8:13, and the fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom, Prov 9:10, and that knowledge puffs up, but love builds up, 1 Cor 8:1. We pray that knowledge would be joined to love and to the knowledge of God, that you and she and all would be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, to walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, Col 1:9-10, and that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, Phil 1:9-10.

We also pray for what you asked concerning inner healing and clarity. From the sole of the foot even to the head there is no soundness in it, but wounds, and bruises, and fresh stripes, Isa 1:6, and we ask the Lord who restores our soul and leads us in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake, Ps 23:3, to heal the wounds, to give wisdom liberally to those who ask in faith, James 1:5, to deliver you, her, and the little one from temptation and from evil men, for we are told to turn away from those who have a form of godliness but deny its power, 2 Tim 3:5, and to flee youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart, 2 Tim 2:22, and to restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, looking to ourselves, so that we also may not be tempted, Gal 6:1. We pray you would be kept from stumbling, for He is able to keep you from stumbling, Jude 1:24, and able to make you stand, Rom 14:4, and we remember your own testimony that you were the chief of sinners, 1 Tim 1:15, yet obtained mercy, and that we must take heed lest we fall, 1 Cor 10:12, standing only by His grace as we continue in His kindness, Rom 11:22.

Father, we thank You in advance according to Mark 11:24, believing we have received what we ask. We ask You to grant repentance that leads to escaping the snare of the devil, having been taken captive to do his will, 2 Tim 2:26, and that those who sin be reproved in the sight of all, that the rest also may be in fear, 1 Tim 5:20. We ask for open rebuke where needed, for you shall not hate your brother in your heart, you shall surely rebuke your neighbor, Lev 19:17, for better is open rebuke than hidden love, Prov 27:5, and that those who wander from the truth would be turned back to save a soul from death, James 5:19-20. Let all be warned, whether by family, church, friends, or even strangers, and let no one be deceived. Deliver us all from the evil one, Matt 6:13, keep us from evil, John 17:15, and let no lie be found on our lips, Zeph 3:13.

We pray for your own needs now, for Holy Spirit strength to fulfill duties and meet pressing needs, Titus 3:14, for grace to fast and to pray according to Isaiah 58:6-12, for protection from deception, for Take heed that no one deceives you, Matt 24:4, and for wisdom to proceed according to Your will, Your kingdom come, Your will be done, Matt 6:10, and who knows, Yahweh may yet have mercy, 2 Sam 12:22. We entrust this entire situation to Him who desires that all should come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, knowing His kindness leads us to repentance, Rom 2:4.

We pray all these things together in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and it is through Him we have access to the Father. Amen.

You named what matters most to you, that those closest to her would step in with gentleness and truth, and that she would have space to see clearly and turn toward what is right. We join you in praying for that kind of clear sight and for protection from further harm, for her and for you and for the young person you mentioned.

One thing we have learned walking with others in similar places is that real change is usually more like training than a single moment. Sorrow can come quickly, but a changed direction takes time, honesty, and steady accountability within a caring community. It helps to not walk this alone.

It may help you to keep meeting regularly with one trusted pastor or counselor who knows your story well, not only to pray for her but to help you stay grounded, discern wise next steps, and care for your own heart as you wait.

Father, we bring this woman before You and ask for Your mercy and Your work in her life, for safety, for healing of what is wounded, and for wisdom to see Your way. We bring our brother before You as well, asking for strength for his duties, protection from temptation and deception, and a quiet confidence that You are at work even when he cannot see it. Your prayer has been heard and it is a weighty and godly burden which you carry before the Lord, and we join you in it according to the Scriptures.

You do well to ask the Lord to hedge her way with thorns as it is written, Hosea 2:6, that she may not overtake her lovers. As we have elsewhere noted from Proverbs 15:19, the way of the slothful is as a hedge of thorns, and when a soul persists in a slothful and sinful course that way becomes blocked altogether. So we may pray that the Lord in mercy would make the way of sin thorny and impassable, not to destroy but to restrain, that the thorns may keep the goats of worldly pleasure from devouring the young shoots of grace. There is a blessed use for thorns when they are made a hedge to keep the soul from wandering, and when they prick the conscience and drive the sinner as a child to his mother, even to Christ. We pray with you that every path of online seeking and adultery, Matthew 5:28, Exodus 20:14, may be thus hedged, that she cannot meet with temptation nor be deceived that she is in a place of safety, for God is not mocked, Galatians 6:7.

We join you in asking for the convicting work of the Holy Spirit, John 16:8, and for the faithful intervention of the church and family according to Matthew 18:16-17. You are right to desire that this be done gently but firmly, with the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God, Hebrews 4:12, and with an eye upon ourselves lest we also be tempted, Galatians 6:1. Above all we pray for repentance unto life, Acts 11:18. There is a repentance that is of the flesh, a carnal sorrow that does not give God glory, but true repentance is the work of the Spirit of God. It gives God glory, it weeps and abhors past sin because of the love of Christ which pardons it, and it avoids present sin because of the love of God who died for us. It is inseparable from faith, the repentance which ejects sin as an evil tenant and the faith which admits Christ to be sole Master of the heart. Such repentance is practical and lasting and yields works meet for repentance, Matthew 3:8, proving repentance by deeds, Acts 26:20, and turning to receive refreshing from the Lord, Acts 3:19. We pray not for a sorrow that seeks only to avoid consequences, nor for a use of grace as license for immorality, Jude 1:4, but for that godly sorrow which need not be repented of, 2 Corinthians 7:9-11, which confesses sin against God and man as the prodigal did, Luke 15:17-19.

Take comfort in the picture of prodigal love. The eyes of mercy are quicker than the eyes of repentance. The father saw the son when he was yet a great way off and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. Slow are the steps of repentance but swift are the feet of forgiveness. If she be brought by grace to true repentance and to new birth in Christ, there is overflowing comfort and much forgiveness, for the Father joys in the return of the prodigal and all Heaven shares His joy. Yet remember that this mercy must be on God's terms. The Lord has said we must not be unequally yoked, 2 Corinthians 6:14, as the law says, Deuteronomy 22:10, and can two walk together except they be agreed, Amos 3:3. If God makes her holy we will not call her unclean, Acts 10:15, but holiness must be real and practical, for Christ becomes to us wisdom and righteousness and sanctification. We pray therefore for her salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for the knowledge of God which is the beginning of wisdom, Proverbs 9:10, and the fear of the Lord which is to hate evil, Proverbs 8:13, and for deliverance from evil men and impostors, 2 Timothy 3:5, and from the snare of the devil, 2 Timothy 2:25-26.

We pray also for you, that the Lord would grant you ever increasing clarity and wisdom, James 1:5, that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding and walk worthy of the Lord, Colossians 1:9-10, and stand perfectly assured in all the will of God, Colossians 4:12, with love abounding in knowledge and discernment, Philippians 1:9-11. For inner healing we look to the Great Shepherd, Psalm 23:1-6, who restores the soul, Psalm 23:3, and binds up the bruises described in Isaiah 1:6. We ask for Holy Spirit strength for duties, Titus 3:14, grace to fast aright, Isaiah 58:6-12, and grace to meet pressing needs and to fulfill every duty.

Keep on in prayer, Luke 18:1, believing you have received, Mark 11:24, yet take heed lest you fall, 1 Corinthians 10:12, for we stand only by grace, Romans 11:20, and only He is able to keep you from stumbling, Jude 1:24, and to make you stand, Romans 14:4. His kindness is meant to lead us to repentance, Romans 2:4, for He is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9. So we continue to plead that He would warn and woo and, where needful, wound that He may heal, and that thorns also and thistles, Genesis 3:18, may be sanctified, remembering that our Lord was crowned with thorns for us and has consecrated sorrow itself.

We will pray that the Lord would deliver you, her, the little one, and all concerned from temptation, Luke 11:4, from sin, 1 Corinthians 15:34, from lies, Zephaniah 3:13, and from the evil one, Matthew 6:13, John 17:15, and that He would fulfill His promise, Philippians 1:6, to complete the good work He has begun, to bring about a hope and a future, Jeremiah 29:11, in His perfect time and way.
