🧎🏽‍♂️Father, we're concerned but praying, as it is written, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus," Phil 4:6-7. Jesus said Mt 6:13 pray for others "Lead US not into temptation but deliver us from evil," -- Thank You it's plural -- i.e., we pray for each other Eph 6:18. Prevent sin, Mt 18:6: let her take down her online profiles to protect her from sin, "But the... sexually immoral... and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death” Rev 21:8. Let it come down to keep her from evil men, 2 Thes 3:2 for evil men and imposters proceed from bad to worst (in the last days) 2 Tim 3:13.

🙇🏻 We still believe the kindness of God leads us to repentance Rom 2:4, but we know those You rebuke and discipline those You love so they are zealous and repent, Rev 3:19, and keep "little ones from stumbling" Matt 18:6, so WE now ask The Church obeys Jesus and "open rebuke" Luke 17:3, "Watch yourselves. If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him." And, "If they don't listen to you (Matt 18:15, which she has not), bring along 2 or 3 others (Matt 18:16, which we did with our home group leaders, and she left the next day), if the person does not hear them, bring it to the church, Matt 18:17... Leviticus 19:17, Ezekiel 3:18-19, Prov 24:11-12

🙏 Knowing her disposition, deception and hardness of heart, we thank You this request and its follow through has been and must still be mingled with prayer, fasting and intense mercy, yet not so as to lose the stern frankness and danger to herself and others by continuing in immorality at all, especially while married, Rom 7:2-3, 1 Cor 6:9-10, Rev 2:20, Rev 3:19, Rev 21:8 -- and by endangering the child and softening his moral stance, Matt 18:6, Mk 9:42, Lk 17:2, Rev 18:21. Galatians 6:1 "Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a trespass, you who are spiritual should restore him with a spirit of gentleness. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted." Thank You in for hearing prayer in Your will, and when You hear, we have the requests, 1 Jn 5:14-15, in Jesus' Name, the male spouse.
 
We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, yet with unwavering conviction in His Word, as we lift up this situation concerning a sister in Christ who is walking in disobedience. The Scriptures are clear that we are called to love one another enough to confront sin, not out of judgment, but out of a desire for repentance and restoration. As it is written, "If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother" (Matthew 18:15 WEB). This is not an act of condemnation but of love, for "open rebuke is better than hidden love" (Proverbs 27:5 WEB).

We acknowledge that this sister is married, and her actions, pursuing relationships outside of her marriage and engaging in online profiles that lead to temptation, are not only sinful but dangerous. The Lord declares, "Or don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom" (1 Corinthians 6:9-10 WEB). Adultery is a grievous sin, and the Lord does not take it lightly. "Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4 WEB).

We also lift up the child in this situation, for the Lord warns us, "but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if a huge millstone were hung around his neck, and that he were sunk in the depths of the sea" (Matthew 18:6 WEB). The influence of unrepentant sin in the home can lead a child astray, and we must pray fervently for protection over this young one’s heart and mind.

We have followed the steps outlined in Scripture, first approaching her privately, then with witnesses, and now we stand at the threshold of bringing this before the church if she remains unrepentant. The Lord commands, "If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly. If he refuses to hear the assembly also, let him be to you as a Gentile or a tax collector" (Matthew 18:17 WEB). This is not done in malice but in obedience to Christ, for we are called to be faithful to His Word, even when it is difficult.

Yet, we do not lose hope, for the Lord is merciful and desires repentance. "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9 WEB). We pray that her heart would be softened, that she would see the danger of her ways, and that she would turn from sin and return to her husband and to the Lord. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB).

We also pray for the husband, that he would stand firm in faith, extend grace where possible, but also hold fast to the truth of God’s Word. May he be a godly example to his child and a testimony of Christ’s love and holiness. We pray for the church, that it would act with wisdom, courage, and compassion, not shrinking back from its responsibility to uphold biblical truth.

Father, we ask that You would intervene in this situation. Remove the stumbling blocks that lead to sin, shut down the online profiles, close the doors to temptation, and surround her with godly influences. Break the deception in her heart and reveal the truth of Your Word. If she will not listen to the warnings of her family and the church, we ask that You would bring conviction through Your Holy Spirit. Let her see the seriousness of her sin and the mercy that is available through repentance.

We pray for restoration, restoration of her marriage, restoration of her relationship with You, and restoration of her witness before the church and the world. But if she remains hardened, we ask that You would protect the innocent, particularly the child, and that the church would act in accordance with Your will.

Lord, we trust in Your justice and Your mercy. We know that You discipline those You love, and we pray that this discipline would lead to repentance and life. Give us the strength to stand firm in Your truth, to speak with boldness, and to extend grace with wisdom. May Your name be glorified in all of this, and may Your will be done.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can come before You, we pray. Amen.
 
We can feel the weight of this situation pressing heavily on our hearts as we lift it up to the Lord. It’s never easy when we see someone we care about walking away from God’s design for marriage and holiness, especially when it involves someone in our own circle. We know the Scriptures call us to love deeply enough to speak truth, even when it’s hard, but we also feel the burden of wanting God’s mercy to prevail in this young woman’s life.

Lord, we cling to Your promise that You desire none to perish but all to come to repentance. Soften her heart, Father. Break the chains of deception and sin that have taken root. We pray for divine intervention, let the Holy Spirit work in ways we can’t see, shutting doors to temptation and opening her eyes to the danger she’s in. Protect her spouse and child from the ripple effects of her choices and give them wisdom as they navigate this storm. If church discipline is part of Your plan to wake her up, grant her the humility to receive it.

Above all, we ask for restoration, whether that’s a return to her marriage, a renewed walk with You, or even a miraculous heart change that leads to repentance. But if this is Your refining fire, Lord, help us to trust Your purpose. Give us compassion to walk alongside her without compromising truth, and strength to stand firm when the road gets tough.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
