🙇🏻 Church would be warned and warns female spouse Mt18:16-17 Lk17:3 Lv19:17 Ezk3:18, family also warns Gal 6:1. Practicing immorality excludes from kingdom 1Cor6:9 Rev21:8 Gal5:19-20, New Testament forewarns exclusion from entrance into kingdom of God, Gal5:21...🧎🏽‍♂️Father, we're concerned but praying, as it is written, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus," Phil 4:6-7. Jesus said Mt 6:13 pray for others "Lead US not into temptation but deliver us from evil," -- Thank You it's plural -- i.e., we pray for each other Eph 6:18. Prevent sin, Mt 18:6: let her take down her online profiles to protect her from sin, "But the... sexually immoral... and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death” Rev 21:8. Let it come down to keep her from evil men, 2 Thes 3:2 for evil men and imposters proceed from bad to worst (in the last days) 2 Tim 3:13.

🙇🏻 We still believe the kindness of God leads us to repentance Rom 2:4, but we know those You rebuke and discipline those You love so they are zealous and repent, Rev 3:19, and keep "little ones from stumbling" Matt 18:6, so WE now ask The Church obeys Jesus and "open rebuke" Luke 17:3, "Watch yourselves. If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him." And, "If they don't listen to you (Matt 18:15, which she has not), bring along 2 or 3 others (Matt 18:16, which we did with our home group leaders, and she left the next day), if the person does not hear them, bring it to the church, Matt 18:17... Leviticus 19:17, Ezekiel 3:18-19, Prov 24:11-12

🙏 Knowing her disposition, deception and hardness of heart, we thank You this request and its follow through has been and must still be mingled with prayer, fasting and intense mercy, yet not so as to lose the stern frankness and danger to herself and others by continuing in immorality at all, especially while married, Rom 7:2-3, 1 Cor 6:9-10, Rev 2:20, Rev 3:19, Rev 21:8 -- and by endangering the child and softening his moral stance, Matt 18:6, Mk 9:42, Lk 17:2, Rev 18:21. Galatians 6:1 "Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a trespass, you who are spiritual should restore him with a spirit of gentleness. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted." Thank You in for hearing prayer in Your will, and when You hear, we have the requests, 1 Jn 5:14-15, in Jesus' Name, the male spouse.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, burdened by the spiritual danger facing this sister in Christ and the sanctity of her marriage. The Scriptures are clear that marriage is a holy covenant before God, binding a man and woman together as one flesh until death (Matthew 19:4-6, Romans 7:2-3). The Word warns us in no uncertain terms that sexual immorality, including adultery, is a grievous sin that excludes one from the kingdom of God if not repented of (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Galatians 5:19-21, Revelation 21:8).

The steps taken thus far align with Christ’s instructions in Matthew 18:15-17, where He commands us to first confront sin privately, then with witnesses, and finally before the church if there is no repentance. Leviticus 19:17 and Ezekiel 3:18-19 also make it clear that we have a responsibility to warn those who are walking in sin, lest their blood be on our hands. The fact that she has not listened to private admonition or the counsel of witnesses is deeply concerning, and the church must now act in obedience to Scripture by bringing this matter before the assembly. This is not done in a spirit of condemnation, but in love, for "faithful are the wounds of a friend" (Proverbs 27:6), and "the Lord disciplines the one He loves" (Hebrews 12:6).

Yet even as we stand firm on God’s Word, we must also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12). This sister is ensnared by deception, and her hardness of heart may be a result of spiritual strongholds. We must therefore pray fervently, as you have done, that the Lord would break through the lies of the enemy and grant her true repentance. The kindness of God does lead to repentance (Romans 2:4), and His discipline is meant to restore, not destroy (Revelation 3:19). We must also pray for her husband, that he would stand firm in faith, resist bitterness, and extend grace if she turns back to the Lord. And we must pray for their child, that he would not be led astray by the example before him (Matthew 18:6, Mark 9:42).

Lord, we ask You to intervene in this situation according to Your perfect will. Expose the deception in her heart and bring her to a place of genuine repentance. If she will not listen to the church, may she be brought to a place of godly sorrow that leads to life (2 Corinthians 7:10). We pray that her online profiles would be removed, cutting off the temptation that leads to sin (Matthew 5:29-30). Protect her from evil men who would lead her further astray (2 Timothy 3:13), and guard her heart from the deceitfulness of sin (Hebrews 3:13).

We also pray for the church, that it would act with boldness, wisdom, and compassion. May the leaders not shrink back from their duty to rebuke sin, but may they also extend the hope of restoration. Give them discernment to know how to proceed, and grant them the grace to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). If she repents, may she be received with open arms, for "there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents" (Luke 15:10). If she does not, may the church follow through with the final step of Matthew 18:17, treating her as an unbeliever, not out of hatred, but in the hope that she may yet turn and be saved.

Father, we know that apart from Christ, we can do nothing (John 15:5). We ask that You would move in power, softening hearts, breaking chains, and bringing this sister back to the fold. May Your name be glorified in this situation, whether through repentance or through the church’s faithfulness to Your Word. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), the One who is able to keep us from stumbling and present us blameless before Your glory (Jude 1:24). Amen.

We can only imagine how heavy your hearts must be as you walk through this difficult season. The enemy would love to twist this trial into division or despair, but we know God’s Word holds the power to expose lies and bring truth to light. Remember how Jesus said that truth sets us free (John 8:32), and that even when we face hard choices, He is with us in the midst of it.

We’ve seen how God works through obedience, and we trust that the steps taken so far were done in faith, not anger. Keep praying for softness in her heart, not just for the sake of the marriage, but for her soul. The Lord is not slow in keeping His promises (2 Peter 3:9), and He is able to turn even the hardest hearts toward Him.

May we all continue to lift this up with humility, asking God for wisdom in what to say or do next. And if there’s any way we’ve missed showing grace along the way, let us repent of that too. Father, we trust You to work all things for good, even this pain. Guard our words, our motives, and our spirits as we seek Your will.

In the name of Jesus, we pray.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
