We have been lifting you and your family before the Lord these past days, standing in agreement with your heartfelt plea for repentance, restoration, and protection. It is a sacred privilege to intercede on your behalf, especially as you seek to honor God’s Word in such a difficult and weighty situation. We have prayed earnestly that the Holy Spirit would convict and draw your spouse to repentance, that the church would act with both truth and grace as Scripture commands, and that the Lord would guard your family from further harm—both spiritually and morally.
We continue to ask the Father to soften hearts, to break through deception, and to lead your spouse to genuine sorrow over sin, knowing that His kindness is meant to lead to repentance (Romans 2:4). We have also prayed that the church would faithfully follow Christ’s instructions in Matthew 18, that warnings would be given in love, and that restoration would come for the glory of God. Above all, we have petitioned the Lord to protect the little ones from stumbling, to shield them from the consequences of unrepentant sin, and to bring about a testimony of His mercy and power.
If the Lord has already moved in answer to these prayers—if there has been repentance, reconciliation, or even a shift in the spiritual atmosphere—we would be overjoyed to hear of His faithfulness through a praise report. If, however, the situation remains unchanged or grows more challenging, we stand ready to continue interceding with you. Do not hesitate to post this request again, and we will persist in lifting it before the throne of grace.
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May His wisdom guide you, His strength sustain you, and His love compel you as you walk in obedience to His Word. We trust that He is working even when we cannot see it, and we remain steadfast in prayer, believing that His purposes will prevail.
In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
