chronic kidney disease

The Great Physician is near you in this hour of affliction, and the least touch of His hand is potent with healing virtue. You have endured much under the surgeon's knife, and now another trial rises before you, filling your heart with dread. But remember, the very leaves that flutter from the Tree of Life carry medicine for body and soul, His smallest mercies are mighty to restore.

Fear not. These two words are not the mere counsel of a man, but the command of Christ Himself, who stands before you as He did before John on Patmos, whispering, “Fear not.” To give way to terror is to dishonor the God who has promised, “I will help thee.” He is with you in the dialysis chair, in the surgeon’s chamber, and in the quiet watches of the night when anxiety gnaws at your spirit. Your weakness does but magnify His strength. A worm like Jacob has no power to save itself, yet the Lord stoops low to lift such a one out of the dust. Cast your burden upon Him; He will sustain you.

Seek first the healing of your soul, and in that pardon you will find peace for the body’s sorrows. The Son of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, and where He comes, sin’s sting is drawn, and the dread of death dissolves. The same voice that said to the palsied man, “Thy sins be forgiven thee,” speaks still to every trembling heart. Lay hold of that forgiveness, and you shall find that the fear of the grave loses its terror, for your true life is hid with Christ in God.

Yet do not imagine that the Lord’s healing is confined to the spirit alone. He is able to command these kidneys to do their work, to clear those clotted vessels, and to grant you length of days. But if in His unsearchable wisdom He should call you home, what then? To depart and be with Christ is far better. In the celestial city, there is no dialysis, no graft, no catheter, the leaves of that tree heal all infirmity forever, and the inhabitants never say, “I am sick.”

For the present, commit this surgery into His hands. If the physicians deem it needful, go forward not in presumption, but in prayerful trust. The Lord who took Peter’s mother-in-law by the hand and lifted her up can uphold you through the procedure and raise you to serve Him again. Do not let the fear of man make you a slave; rather, fear Him whose power is limitless, knowing that nothing befalls you without His ordaining love.

I join my faith with yours, pleading the precious blood of Jesus for your full recovery. May the God of all comfort fill you with a peace that passes understanding, and may you find that His grace is sufficient, for His strength is made perfect in weakness. He will never leave you nor forsake you.

I have chronic kidney disease and I go to dialysis on Tuesdays Thursdays and Saturdays. First, the doctor put a catheter in my right chest. Then he removed it and put a graft in my left arm and it got clotted and have did surgery about 3 times on my upper arm. The graft is not working and it's still in my arm and they put a catheter on the left side of my chest. Now he want to do surgery on my left arm again which is serious. And then want to take the catheter out of the left side of my chest. I really don't want to have this surgery and I want to live. Please Pray for me. And thank you.
Praying for your healing with scripture. I send you a short video with Bible verses about healing. Because God's word comes with authority. In Jesus Name. Amen

Do not let the fear of this surgery so overwhelm you that you forget the true Physician of your soul. The care of the body, when it becomes a thorn choking out faith, leaves us barren. It is not wrong to desire life, God made us to live, but if you cling so tightly to this failing tent that you lose the peace Christ offers, you have only added a heavier weight.

Think of that Gentile jailer so many ages ago, who, though a barbarian, left his country and came in fear and great trembling to worship. You, a citizen of heaven through baptism, should imitate him: run to Christ with your terror and trust. His yoke is easy, His burden light. He does not ask you to bear this cross without Him; He has gone first. The very hand that holds the scalpel is permitted by Him, and if He chooses to let you suffer for a season, He will show you how much can be borne for His name. The early believers, when they saw the apostles seized, trembled with fear, yet that very fear gave way to boldness when they remembered who held them.

Cast off, then, the servile dread that says, “I cannot endure this, I must avoid it at all costs.” That is the same anxious spirit that shut itself up in the house while the neighbor’s home burned, only to find the flames crept close after all. Instead, as soon as you hear the bad report, turn it to contempt and hatred of the enemy who seeks to shake you, not a scrupulous terror that examines every possible evil, for that is born of cowardice, not faith. The body itself is but a soiled garment you will one day gladly leave behind. If He allows it to be pierced many times, remember it is only to drain the infection of sin and make you whole within.

Hold fast to the hem of His garment with both fear and joy, as those first witnesses did when He met them after the grave and said, “Be not afraid.” Let that word cast out the dread that makes you think you cannot face another surgery. Say to your soul: The Lord measures out these things; if the graft fails and the catheter remains a while, it is His school where He teaches me compunction and loosens my grip on this world. He who pricks the heart can also heal the body, but His greater gift is to pierce you with a saving fear that leads to life.

Pray, then, not merely for the removal of the illness, but that whether in life or in death, you may be found “in God”, not a servant of sin, but a chosen vessel. Let Christ send you good tidings through this suffering: that He is training you to bear His name before men without terror. And if the surgery comes, go to it not as one forced, but as one who has already passed through many waters and found Him faithful. The executioner’s hand is repulsive, yet the Bridegroom received the kiss of death and overcame it. Will you not trust the hand of the surgeon?

Lay your anxious questioning aside and take up the yoke. Let no harsh or wild fruit come from this trial. Be an olive plant round His table, nurtured by the rain that falls upon you week after week, both the water of the Scriptures and the downpour of these afflictions. They are meant to make you fruitful, not to uproot you. You will yet stand and see the salvation of the Lord, whether here in restored health or there in the land where no catheter is needed, and where He wipes away every tear. Fear not; only believe.

The weight of what you are carrying is immense, and your body has been through so much. When you describe one surgery after another, a graft that clots and fails, and yet another serious procedure looming, it is understandable that your heart is crying out, "I don't want this, and I want to live." That cry does not fall on deaf ears. There is a kind of fear that rises up when life feels out of control, when the very things meant to sustain us seem to break open under the strain. It is the fear of a breach, a breaking forth against us, and it leaves us shaken.

Yet Scripture shows us another kind of fear, one that actually steadies the ground beneath our feet. When David saw the terrifying reality of God's holiness after a man died simply for touching the Ark, he was afraid and named the place "Breaking Forth." He learned that we cannot approach the presence of God on our own terms or through human shortcuts. But later, when David brought the Ark back in the right way, according to the order God had given, the cry became, "The Lord reigneth." The sea roared, but the world was declared stable and unmoved. The fear shifted from a dread of destruction to a reverent awe that planted his feet on solid rock. That is my prayer for you: not that every physical fear would vanish in an instant, but that underneath all the uncertainty of catheters, grafts, and surgeries, you would find the unshakable stability of knowing the Lord reigns over your body and your future.

The truth is, every human solution reaches a limit. Medicine can start with an earthbound base and try to extend your strength, but it cannot create the infinite peace your soul longs for. That failure is not a sign that hope is lost; it is an invitation to anchor yourself in the only relationship that secures your life beyond these temporary vessels of flesh. David, in his later years, knew that his children would only enjoy the blessings he had known if they maintained their relationship with God. He feared for their future because he saw corruption creeping in. Your desire to live is not just about surviving a surgery; it is a desire for wholeness, for days of freedom and blessing. That desire is placed in you by God, and He alone is the keeper of that future. His due order is not a burden but a pathway to life, and walking in purity before Him means trusting that He sees the entire map when we can only see the next painful step.

Do not let the repeated failures of that graft convince you that your life is a series of breaches with no resolution. The presence of the Lord brings a purifying fire, but it also brings a table of rejoicing for those who seek Him according to His way. Cry out to Him with your honest fear, your weariness with the procedures, and your deep longing to live. He does not despise that. Lean hard into the reality that the One who reigns over the roaring sea of your circumstances is the same One who holds your breath in His hand. May the fear of Him calm all other terrors, and may you sense His steadying presence as you face the decisions ahead.

We want you to know how deeply we appreciate the trust you placed in us by sharing your heavy burden. It has been on our hearts daily since you posted, and we have continued to lift you, your doctors, and every medical decision to the Lord. We have prayed specifically for wisdom for the surgical team, peace that surpasses understanding to guard your heart and mind, and for the graft in your left arm to be healed and restored so that another surgery might not be needed. We have also asked the Father to strengthen your body, ease any pain, and fill you with courage and hope as you face each dialysis session.

If the Lord has already answered in a way that brings relief or clarity, we would be overjoyed to celebrate with you—please share a praise report so we can give Him the glory together. If the path ahead still feels uncertain or the weight has not lifted, we invite you to post your request again so we can stand with you afresh. We are committed to walking this journey in prayer alongside you, trusting that God hears every cry of your heart and is working even when we cannot see it.

May He draw near to you in these days, surround you with His presence, and remind you that you are never alone. We continue to pray in the powerful name of Jesus, believing that His grace is sufficient for every moment.
