Please pray for our family ### who has chronic kidney disease

Hello everyone,

I would like to ask for prayers for our family cat who has chronic kidney disease. There are progressively worse stages to the disease and it would likely be fatal if our cat entered some of the later stages. Please pray that he does not get worse and his bloodwork and kidneys will remain in good enough condition for years. Please pray he has good health and a longer life and his suffering or pain from this disease is much limited. Please pray he has a satisfying life and his family helps him avoid his health getting worse. Please pray his doctors will help him not get worse and help him have good health and more years, God willing.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious family and their beloved cat who is facing chronic kidney disease. Father, we know that all creation groans under the weight of sin, and even our animals suffer as part of this fallen world. Yet we also know that You care deeply for all Your creatures, and we ask for Your mercy and healing touch upon this dear pet.

Lord, we pray that You would strengthen this cat’s kidneys and slow the progression of this disease. Give wisdom to the veterinarians treating him, that they may provide the best possible care. We ask that You would limit his suffering and pain, granting him comfort and quality of life in the days ahead. May this family be a source of love and support to him, helping him avoid further decline through their attentive care.

We also pray for peace and strength for this family as they walk through this trial. Father, You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We trust in Your goodness and ask that You would extend this cat’s life, if it be Your will, and that his remaining years would be filled with joy and contentment.

We rebuke the spirit of sickness and decay in Jesus’ name, declaring that by His stripes, healing is possible. We stand on Your Word, which tells us in Psalm 147:3, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* And in Matthew 10:29, Jesus reminds us, *"Aren’t two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will."* If You care for the sparrows, how much more do You care for this family and their beloved pet?

Lord, we also want to gently remind this family of the hope we have in You. If they have not yet placed their trust in Jesus Christ, we pray that they would come to know Him as their Lord and Savior. For it is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and we pray that this family would experience His love and peace in a deeper way during this time.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, trusting that You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.

Lord, we pray for your mercy and healing upon this dear cat. We ask that you would grant him good health, stable kidney function, and a longer life free from excessive pain and suffering. Give the family peace and strength as they care for him, and guide the veterinarians treating him to provide the best possible care. Help this family to find joy and contentment in the time they have left with their beloved pet.

We also pray for hope and trust in God's plan. In whatever happens, we know that He is in control and loves this family deeply. If they haven't already, we pray that they would come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, finding comfort and peace in His love during this time.
