Jesus said,"A fountain cannot send forth both bitter and sweet water."Yet I notice something that confuses me.It at least gives the appearance that it sends forth sweet and bitter water.Meaning, I see these country singers, many from the Bible Belt, and when they talk, they praise Jesus, say they love God, praise the church,etc. BUT out of the other side of their mouths they show their beliefs in New Age and occultic practices, hype up astrology, reincarnation, you name it.Now if they were Christians, why are they hyping up, and singing about such?They should be using their platform to promote the Gospel, right?Second ,if they were really Christians, wouldn.t the Holy Spirit show them the false from the true?Makes you think of Jesus' words,"Not everyone who calls me,Lord, Lord" will enter into the Kingdom of God, but he who does the will of the Father"."In that day many will come to me saying,"Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and cast out demons, and in Your name do many mighty works?"And I will say to them,"Depart from me, you workers of inequity, I never knew you".

Christian or devil worshipper?

If you read James chapter 3 you might see that our tongues need to be bridled, kept silent in many if not most occasions. It all goes back to taking no thought for our lives for our tongues can bring forth both sweet and bitter comments. If we are not thinking about our lives and we are remaining silent our words may very well be sweet most of the time.
There is actually quite a bit of knowledge in this one chapter about choices as well. Who made the fountains the way they are? God did of course as well as made us. We are His workmanship to change us for His Glory. Are we teachers if we know Christ? Are we doing things His way? Are we letting sweet things come out of our mouths or our words we put to text or is it mostly bitter? It is God that teaches, convicts and gives us our abilities but is it bitter or sweet that comes out of us mostly. It has a lot to do with judging our very own selves. Where am I in Christ? My very own words can teach me!

If you mean by remaining silent that we're to turn a blind eye to sin around us, I think you're misinterpreting that. Like when Jesus called the sinners "a generation of vipers".or overturned the tables of the moneychangers in the synagogue.Besides, if these people aren't true Christians, and impressionable kids see them, they might think there's nothing wrong with being a "Christian" and seeing psychics.What if the 144,000 were "silent" during the Tribulation, no one would get saved.Sometimes you have to speak out.

I didn't say remain silent all the time. Where did you get that from? If we are against someone who professes to be a Christian are we advertising for them for young people to listen to them?

I was giving examples.There could be instructions in the Bible that fit one situation, but in another it may not. Like if you quote,"take no thought for your tomorrow" to an unsaved person before getting them saved, they could turn it on you and think,"Oh, fine, since I could live a long time, I don't have to worry about hell"and therefore see no reason to get saved!!Or when you say, "everything is good", they can {mis}use that and think "everything" means hell, too, and not see the need to get saved.I'm just saying, use judgement on when to use which verse.

I'm sorry, you made it sound like you didn't understand something that I could explain. If you think you understand than why use words that you are confused? God is not the author of confusion! I'm not the one that says to take no thought for your life, Christ said that and I repeated it. I repeat it because that saved my life. It literally saved my life as I really was going to end my life. Not only did it save my life but it also healed my life as I was in deathly pains so I share what can save another, believing in Jesus and doing His instructions, claiming His promises and taking victory over every situation that I come across!
Is your life your own? My life belongs to Jesus and He says to study to show myself approved. So I study, if I see someone lost in their knowledge I try to help them. We are to study scripture with scripture not study scripture with what we see going on in another so called Christian. If we see something in the Bible that seems to teach what I think it means than I am wrong because everything in the Word of God is explained by the Word of God so why be confused?

"Confusion", meaning if they're actually Christians,why are they out of the other side of their mouths speaking of occultic teachings.?Either you believe in one or the other.Unless they were brought up around Christians, and "think" they are, but are mislead.

Did you ever think that maybe you could have prayed for those that you think of that way to simply have their eyes opened and repent of their seemingly misguided ways instead of sounding confused about something you read in the Bible?
Oh Lord have mercy on this person and these people that proclaim to be Christian and seem to be teaching the Devil's tricks. Open their eyes to see You in truth and teach of You in truth and forgive me for judging them other than if I should continue to listen to them. Turn away others from listening to them if they are wrong. Lord Jesus give them what they need to do things right in Your sight. Give me what I need to do things right in Your sight, all in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!
Maybe rather post a prayer for someone other than just pointing out what you think is wrong with them my friend
