Christian or devil worshipper?

Jesus said,"A fountain cannot send forth both bitter and sweet water."Yet I notice something that confuses me.It at least gives the appearance that it sends forth sweet and bitter water.Meaning, I see these country singers, many from the Bible Belt, and when they talk, they praise Jesus, say they love God, praise the church,etc. BUT out of the other side of their mouths they show their beliefs in New Age and occultic practices, hype up astrology, reincarnation, you name it.Now if they were Christians, why are they hyping up, and singing about such?They should be using their platform to promote the Gospel, right?Second ,if they were really Christians, wouldn.t the Holy Spirit show them the false from the true?Makes you think of Jesus' words,"Not everyone who calls me,Lord, Lord" will enter into the Kingdom of God, but he who does the will of the Father"."In that day many will come to me saying,"Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and cast out demons, and in Your name do many mighty works?"And I will say to them,"Depart from me, you workers of inequity, I never knew you".

Did you ever think that maybe you could have prayed for those that you think of that way to simply have their eyes opened and repent of their seemingly misguided ways instead of sounding confused about something you read in the Bible?

Oh Lord have mercy on this person and these people that proclaim to be Christian and seem to be teaching the Devil's tricks. Open their eyes to see You in truth and teach of You in truth and forgive me for judging them other than if I should continue to listen to them. Turn away others from listening to them if they are wrong. Lord Jesus give them what they need to do things right in Your sight. Give me what I need to do things right in Your sight, all in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Maybe rather post a prayer for someone other than just pointing out what you think is wrong with them my friend

We all have only Jesus to answer to, as it is Jesus, by Jesus and for Jesus that all things are for Yeah I would say that gives the proper balance to it. We are supposed to pray for them just as much as witness to them.And you did admit that they were misguided, you gave a positive way of handling it,but still admitted they were "off base",and others shouldn't be mislead by them. That's what we need, balance.

I didn't say remain silent all the time. Where did you get that from? If we are against someone who professes to be a Christian are we advertising for them for young people to listen to them?

We are to be lead into a relationship with God. A lot of people professing Christianity don't even have a relationship with God. We need to be praying for the Body of Christ.

Let's Pray: God I ask You in Jesus' name bless each of your children on this prayer site to grow and never cease growing in the True Word of God (especially the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus). Let us all seek what the Bible says on anything that we are going through. Let us seek God, God's face, and God's Word. Don't let us be deceived by anyone. Placed men and women of God who You have educated in Your Word to help us, when we need help. And we all need help. Bless each of us with the desire, heart/mind, and the strength to read, listen to, and meditate upon the true Word of God daily. Bless each of us with a great love for only the true Word of God and never let any of us get complacent in and on our journey with You God. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same especially for the writer of this prayer. God thank You for loving us, sending Your Son Jesus Christ to die for us, and thank You for Your Holy Spirit. May we all let Your Holy Spirit lead and guide us each day (moment by moment). Elohim will not be mocked, He knows and sees. Waiting for that error that will turn them to Him.
