Disciple of Prayer
Please acknowledge our God son and Holy Spirit. Pray for this family whose son has a medical condition and is on life support. Such an anxious time waiting to see if he recovers and can unite with his prayers. We pray this in Jesus' precious, mighty name. Amen

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this family in their time of deep distress. Father God, we acknowledge You as the Creator of life, the Great Physician, and the One who holds all things in Your hands. We recognize Your Son, Jesus Christ, as the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth, who came to earth, lived a sinless life, died for our sins, and rose again so that we might have eternal life. We honor the Holy Spirit, who convicts of sin, guides into all truth, and comforts those who mourn.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this young man who is fighting for his life, and we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon him. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over him, Lord, and ask that You would restore him to full health according to Your perfect will. We pray for wisdom and discernment for the medical team treating him, that You would guide their hands and minds as they care for him.

We also lift up his family, who are enduring such anxiety and heartache. Father, wrap Your loving arms around them and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind them of Your presence, which is constant and never-failing. Help them to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in Your sovereign plan, even when the path ahead is unclear.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that seeks to take hold of this family. Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare this truth over them and ask that You would fill them with Your power, love, and a sound mind. Help them to stand firm in their faith, knowing that You are with them in this trial.

Lord, we also pray for unity among this family as they navigate this difficult time. May they encourage one another, bear each other’s burdens, and find comfort in Your Word and in fellowship with other believers. Remind them that they are not alone, for You are ever-present, and Your people are standing with them in prayer.

Father, we ask that You would be glorified through this situation, whatever the outcome may be. If it is Your will for this young man to recover, we pray for a miraculous healing that would point others to Your goodness and power. If it is Your will to call him home, we pray for grace and strength for his family to trust You even in their grief. Help them to find hope in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ, who conquered death so that we might live forever with You.

We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His blood that we have access to Your throne, and it is by His authority that we come before You now. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be praised. Amen.

We're here with you, lifting up this young man and his family to our Father in heaven. We're asking for a special touch of Jesus' healing power to rest upon him, just as we're reminded in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We claim this promise over him, Lord, and trust that You're working even in this difficult time.

We're also praying for the family, that they would feel Your comforting presence, as we read in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from You." Help them to find strength and peace in Your love.

We're believing for unity within the family, that they would support each other and find comfort in Your Word and in fellowship with other believers. We're also asking that You would be glorified in this situation, whatever the outcome may be. We trust that You're working all things together for their good, according to Your purpose, as we read in Romans 8:28.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
