We hear the deep longing in your heart, dear sister, and we lift you up before the Lord with great compassion. The ache of unfulfilled desires, especially the sacred longing for children and marriage, can weigh heavily on the soul. But we want you to know this: your worth is not defined by your circumstances, your marital status, or your ability to bear children. Your value is found in Christ alone, who loved you so much that He gave His life for you (Ephesians 1:4-5). You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God has a purpose for you that is unique and precious, whether or not it includes motherhood or marriage in the way you envision.

We rebuke the lie of worthlessness that the enemy seeks to plant in your heart. The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Do not let despair or comparison rob you of the joy and peace that God desires for you. Even if the path ahead looks different from what you hoped, trust that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). He sees your tears, hears your prayers, and holds your future in His hands.

We pray now for the desires of your heart, asking the Lord to move in ways that only He can. If it is His will for you to be a mother, whether through biological children, adoption, or spiritual motherhood, we ask Him to open those doors in His perfect timing. If He has called you to serve Him in another capacity, such as pastoral ministry, we pray for clarity, confirmation, and courage to step into that calling with boldness. Father, we ask You to pour out Your grace upon her, that she may walk in the fullness of Your purpose for her life, whatever that may be.

For your nieces and nephews, we lift them up to You, asking that You would draw them close to Your heart. Guard their minds, protect their faith, and lead them in the paths of righteousness. May they grow to love You with all their hearts, souls, and minds (Matthew 22:37). We also pray for and , that You would bless them abundantly. For , grant him wisdom, focus, and perseverance as he prepares for his A-levels. Strengthen his mind and fill him with confidence in Your ability to guide him. For , we ask that You would provide a meaningful gift that would bring her joy and remind her of Your love.

Lord, we bring her financial needs before You now. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides (Genesis 22:14). Open the windows of heaven and pour out Your blessings so that she may have more than enough to meet her needs this week. Help her to trust in Your provision and not in her own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Give her peace as she waits on You, knowing that You are faithful to supply all her needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

We also want to gently remind you that your identity and hope are found in Jesus Christ alone. If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Him, acknowledging Him as your Lord and Savior. For "there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). If you have already placed your faith in Him, we pray that you would continue to grow in intimacy with Him, finding your joy and satisfaction in His presence.

Heavenly Father, we ask You to wrap Your arms around our sister and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Comfort her in her sorrow, strengthen her in her weakness, and remind her daily of Your unfailing love. Help her to fix her eyes on You, the Author and Perfecter of her faith (Hebrews 12:2). May she find her worth, her purpose, and her hope in You alone. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We want to sit with you in this heavy place, because the feeling of worthlessness you describe cuts very deep. When you look around and see others holding what you deeply long for, a spouse, children, it’s easy to believe your life has somehow missed its purpose. But your worth is not hanging on whether you marry or conceive. It rests in the God who made you and called you His own long before you ever achieved anything or held any role. The ache is real, and we don’t want to rush past it. We hear it in your words.

It sounds like your heart for ministry is already alive, even as you worry it depends on having children first. What if you began exploring that call now? You could ask a pastor or ministry leader you trust to help you identify a concrete way you can start serving, perhaps in children’s ministry, youth work, or visiting the sick, right where you are. Serving alongside others doesn’t erase the longing, but it can give you a foretaste of the calling already stirring inside you, and help you see the good you carry into people’s lives today.

For your nieces and nephews, your presence matters. Aunt-like love is no small gift. Keep showing up for them, even in small, steady ways. That desire to buy a present for the one you named, go ahead, even something modest, as an act of love and defiance against the lie that you have nothing to offer.

We’re praying for your nephew in his A-levels as well, and for the finances that feel so thin right now. Be kind to yourself this week. Ask God to stretch your resources and open doors you haven’t seen.

Jesus, lift the weight of worthlessness off our friend. Meet this loneliness with Your steady companionship. Provide for every bill and every need. Guide them into meaningful service that brings life to others and confidence to their own soul. In Your name we ask. Amen.

Your tears over a childless, unwed state reveal a soul feeling unvalued. Yet look beyond the visible: such worthlessness often paves the way for discovering where true worth lies. Zacchaeus, a man no one would have expected to be called, was summoned down from a tree by the Master’s effectual voice. That same voice calls you by name right now, lifting your eyes from your inability to His sufficiency.

You ask for children, but pray first to be a child yourself, a child born of this heavenly calling, which is not of man’s will nor of the flesh. Has your heart been lifted to high and heavenly things? This is the surer sign of election. The calling from on high raises us out of the despair of earthly hopes deferred and sets our affection on things above. Do not pin your future usefulness, or your very sense of being, on whether you can cradle a babe or stand in a pulpit. The sacred Scriptures counsel every believer to abide in the calling wherein they were called, unless a distinct, divine vocation tears them from it with a force they cannot resist. Many a soul has done more pastoral good at a kitchen fire or beside a neighbor’s sickbed than they would have in a bishop’s chair, chasing a dream God did not give.

You long to be a pastor. I sense a genuine love for souls in that wish, and I am glad. But come down from the tree of your own planning. If the Chief Shepherd intends a public charge for you, He will not need you to supply Him with conditions. His pastoral care for you, right now, is what your heart most raves for. Remember, He knows His sheep by name, not by their station, their marital rank, or their fecundity. His pastoral prayer enfolds you because you are His, the Father’s love-gift to the Son long before you pondered your own emptiness. He Himself will provide the children for your heart, be they your nieces, your nephews, or spiritual sons and daughters born in your house of influence. You ask prayer for those little ones, your prayer is already shaping their destiny. Lift your hands and bring them to Jesus in their tender years, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.

As for the material cares clouding your week, your very pressing need for food and due bills, lay them simply before the God who called Abram out of Ur and suffered not his sandal to fail. That calling was effectual to provide, as much as to sanctify. If He has called you, He will not starve you; if He has begun the journey, He will bring you to Canaan’s border. So cease measuring your worth by what a mirror or a calendar shows, and rest in this: you are effectually called by the God who says, “Fear not, I have redeemed thee; I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.”

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You speak of worthlessness because you lack marriage and children, yet consider the Apostle’s word: “Ye are our epistle.” What is written on the heart matters infinitely more than any earthly title. The soul that clings to Christ and pursues virtue lives truly; the soul that neglects these, even if surrounded by offspring, is dead. Your value does not spring from a full house but from the Spirit’s indwelling. When God sees that we no longer desperately grasp at worldly things as children clutch toys, then He often grants them without harm. But if He withholds, it is that you might cling to what is necessary, namely, His kingdom and righteousness.

You fear you may never have children, and tie to that a hope of the pastoral office. Remember that the desire for the episcopate is a good work if one desires the labor and protection of the Church, not the honor. Yet a bishop must rule his own house well, but the house of God comprises many spiritual children born through the water of baptism, not merely those of the flesh. Isaac himself was born of a promise when the womb was dead; we all become children of Abraham by faith, not by nature. Do not measure your capacity for ministry by biological fruitfulness, but by whether you govern your soul in purity and feed Christ’s flock with sound teaching.

Your longing for a family is natural, but let it not become a snare of despair. Entrust your nieces, nephews, loved ones, and your financial needs to God, who knows your necessities before you ask. Seek first His righteousness, and these temporal things will be added according to His good pleasure, not always as we wish, but as He wills for our salvation. The desire for godly offspring is right, but the greater birth is that we are children of God by grace. Cast away the thought that your worth hangs on these circumstances, and walk as one free, not as a slave to sorrow. Let your heart rest in the will that earnestly desires your eternal life.
