We hear your heartfelt cry for safety, health, and shelter for you and your precious children. The love of a parent for their child is a reflection of God’s own love for us, and we join you in lifting these needs before the throne of grace. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 36:7, "How precious is your loving kindness, God! The children of men take refuge under the shadow of your wings." You and your children are under His care, even in the midst of uncertainty.
We also lift up the need for shelter, knowing that the Lord is our ultimate provider. In Matthew 7:7, Jesus tells us, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you." We stand with you in faith, believing that God hears your prayers and will open doors in His perfect timing. Until then, we pray for His peace to guard your hearts and minds.
Father in Heaven, we come before You as Your children, lifting up this mother and her kids. Lord, You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We ask that You surround them with Your protection, keeping them safe from harm and sickness. Provide for their needs, Father, and lead them to a place of shelter where they can rest in Your care. Strengthen their faith and fill their hearts with hope, knowing that You are working all things together for their good. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
If there are specific challenges you’re facing, whether financial, emotional, or logistical, we encourage you to seek out your local church or Christian community. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and there may be resources or support available to you. Trust in the Lord’s provision, and remember that He is faithful to those who call on His name.

Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. The shelter you crave for yourself and your little ones is found beneath the pinions of the Almighty. Consider the hen gathering her brood, there is homeliness, relationship, heart-working love in that covering. The shadow of the Most High is not the cold shield of a soldier, but the warm, tender wing of a mother. There the child of God rests as one at home, with comfort and happiness communicated in the very act of hiding. Let this be your first plea: that you and your children would abide under those feathers, where safety is not merely a wall against danger but a presence of divine affection.
Yet you ask for the common mercies of health and a roof over your heads. The Lord knows you have need of these things. He who taught Ephraim to walk, taking them by the arms, knows our frame and remembers we are dust. He does not chide His children for their many mistakes, nor will He now upbraid you for crying out in your pressing need. Bring your wants before Him as a little child before a father, expecting pity. The lions may lack and suffer hunger, but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. He who feeds the ravens and clothes the lilies will not turn a deaf ear to the cry of His own offspring for daily bread and a place to lay their heads. Roll this burden onto the Lord; He is able to provide, and He is as wise as He is able.
But look higher still than outward safety. Your own words betray the deep truth: you need something more than even the dearest family can fill. The heart’s great void can only be filled by an infinite Friend who keeps us from falling. Make your first prayer for the soul’s shelter, for yourself and for your children. Behold Christ’s own words: “Behold, I and the children whom God has given Me.” He is not ashamed to own His little ones. He speaks of them with evident delight, quick to see any good in them. Plead that relationship. Lay hold of the promise that He will present you faultless before His presence with exceeding joy. This is a shelter that outlasts every earthly tabernacle.
And for your children, do not hinder them from coming to Christ by thinking them too young for deep piety. The Lord sanctifies children in their own childlike way. They are capable of great service, and of the kingdom of heaven is composed such as they. Pray for their conversion as children, that they may know the Father and have their sins forgiven for His name’s sake. There is no caveat in the covenant excluding the smallest from the largest blessing. But remember, little children must abide in Him; they must be kept from idols and from every deceiver. Their safety lies not in the absence of trial, but in the keeping of a wise and able Savior.
Finally, examine your own path. Are you seeking the Lord Himself, or merely His gifts? The health and house you long for may be given, but if you seek them apart from seeking Him, you have gained nothing. The path of robust health can be more perilous than the path of constant ailment if it leads you from dependence. Cry for angelic keeping in all your appointed ways; you need protection in every step. But remember, the grandest thing is to feel, at the last, that there is safety for the spirit. God’s throne might sooner fail than a saint who clings to Christ should perish. Let this eternal shelter be the anchor of your soul. If you are His child, plead that name before Him. He hates putting away; He is married unto you, and a husband will surely provide for his own. Abide in Him, little child, and may your children be hidden with you in the cleft of the Rock until these calamities be overpast.
