Child Custody Prayer

[in need of prayer]

Please provide us with prayer. We are now entering a child custody battle with my fiancé's ex. She does not treat these children well and they prefer to live with their father. She will not allow it; jealousy of our relationship has overcome her even though she was the one who cheated on him for several years. She has been trying to come between us for 3 years now and she is using the children as weapons. She sees them as a paycheck since he has to pay child support; never does he complain about paying, and he still buys the children clothes even though he doesn't have much more money after he pays it. His best interest is his children; he loves them dearly. She stalks us, harasses us, and regardless of whether he has them on a visit or not, she will start arguing. She alienates him to the children, but the older ones know better. That's why they want to live with their father. She won't allow him visits, but she will send them over to our house walking the streets by themselves at night. Her vindictive, angry, and impulsive behavior is not good for them. Please pray for her to realize what she is doing is wrong and pray for us so we can get custody of the children that want to come live with their father.

I pray for this family, Lord, as I lift them up in prayer to you. Give them strength, love, wisdom, courage, and patience. I know you hear our prayers and thank you for answering our prayers. I pray for ### at this time of need and crisis. God bless them.

Father of all mankind, I prayer for these two families that they may all come to know you. I prayer that they would recognise that children are a gift from you, Father, and therefore should be treated like the true gifts they are, Precious.

Lord, I pray that you may guide them through the scriptures, through godly persons and other media you choose to get them to know how they ought to behave as children of God. Lord, I pray that you remove the demons that the enemy has placed in their midst, their homes, and their hearts that cause them to bicker and be jealous and do things that are not of you.

Father, uproot the seeds of greed, discontent, and lies that have started to grow within them. In their place, plant seeds of hope, unity, trust, and love that these people and children will live in peace and harmony.

Father, you know the full truth of the situation, and I trust you fully to do what is right that the courts and these persons will come to the right decision, decisions that will be good for the children and all involved.

Father, let unity and love abide here; we as people make it hard to coexist with each other, but you, Father, can make it easy. Help them to come to know you, Lord, to recognise your call and to seek to follow you. Only then, Father, will their behaviour change, only then will they do things that please you. Lord, let your perfect will be done here in Jesus' name. Amen.
