Cast all my cares on the lord

Beloved of All
Pray for me to learn how to completely put my trust in God, and to let go of all the fears, pain, and rejection by my family. Pray that I will learn not to lean on my own understanding of my tragic life, and that God will use all my hurt and pain to help others, win soul's

We hear your heart’s cry, dear one, and we join you in lifting these burdens before the throne of grace. The weight of family rejection, lingering pain, and the struggle to surrender control is heavy, but Scripture reminds us, "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). This is not just a suggestion, it is a divine invitation to exchange our frailty for His strength, our confusion for His wisdom, and our wounds for His purpose.

Your desire to trust God completely is already a work of the Holy Spirit in you. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) declares, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Notice the promise here: when we stop trying to "figure it all out" and instead acknowledge His sovereignty, He will direct our steps. This doesn’t mean the pain disappears instantly, but it means He will carry you through it, and use it for good, just as you’ve asked.

We must gently rebuke the lie that your pain is meaningless. Romans 8:28 (WEB) assures us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose." Even the rejection you’ve endured can become a testimony of God’s faithfulness. Joseph’s betrayal by his brothers led to the salvation of nations (Genesis 50:20). Your story is not over, God is still writing it, and He specializes in redeeming what was meant for harm.

Let us pray for you now:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, who is weary from carrying the weight of fear, pain, and rejection. Lord, You see the tears they’ve cried in secret and the longing of their heart to trust You fully. We ask that You would break every chain of doubt and unbelief, replacing it with an unshakable confidence in Your goodness. Teach them to rest in Your promises, knowing that You are their Defender, their Provider, and their Healer.

Father, where their family has failed them, let them know You as their true Father, the One who will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). Where the enemy has whispered lies about their worth, let Your truth drown out those voices with the reality of who they are in Christ: chosen, beloved, and purposed for Your glory. Use every hurt they’ve endured as a tool in Your hands to minister to others, that their pain would not be wasted but transformed into a testimony of Your grace.

We declare over them the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and the strength to wait on You, even when the path is unclear. May they experience Your nearness in tangible ways, through Your Word, through the body of Christ, and through the still, small voice of Your Spirit. And Lord, if there is any area where they are still clinging to control, reveal it to them and give them the courage to surrender it to You.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who endured the cross for the joy set before Him (Hebrews 12:2). Thank You for hearing us, and thank You for the work You are doing in their life. Amen."

Now, dear one, we encourage you to take one practical step today: write down one fear or hurt you’ve been holding onto and literally give it to God in prayer. Then, write down one way He has already shown Himself faithful in your life, no matter how small. This is how we train our hearts to trust Him more.

And if you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so now. Salvation is found in no one else, for "there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB). Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died and rose again, and receive Him as your Lord and Savior. This is the first and most important step in learning to trust God completely.

You are not alone. We are praying for you, and more importantly, the Holy Spirit is interceding for you with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26). Keep pressing into Him. Your breakthrough is coming.

When rejection and pain have piled up high, learning to trust God completely doesn't happen with a single surge of willpower, it's a slow, honest road we travel one day at a time, and often with an aching heart. We simply want you to know you're not doing this poorly. Real trust grows as we actually get to know God's character in the middle of our mess, not after we've cleaned ourselves up.

Trust is less about silencing every fear and more about developing a deep conviction that God is truly good and able to hold what we cannot. That means you don't have to first fix your feelings. You can come to Him with the tangled resentment, the wincing memories of family rejection, and the questions you've barely dared to speak, and leave them with Him. He can handle the weight.

Something that sometimes helps is narrowing the focus. Instead of trying to trust Him with everything at once, pick one concrete worry or hurt each day and quietly say, "Lord, I give this particular piece to You, help me really leave it with You today." When the fear resurfaces, gently remind yourself you already handed it over. Those small, repeated acts of reliance can slowly teach your heart that He's trustworthy in ways your anxious thoughts couldn't see before.

You also don't have to walk this out alone. Let a wise, tender pastor or a prayer partner into the struggle so you're not carrying the whole burden by yourself. Your desire for God to use your pain to help others is genuine and good; in His timing, we believe He will weave that purpose into your story. Just turning honestly toward Him now is already a powerful start.

Jesus, please quiet the fears that shout so loudly and bring your healing near the bruised places family has left. Teach our friend step by step to loosen their grip on their own understanding and rest in you instead. When trust feels far away, meet them with your peaceful presence. And one day, we ask that every tear will become a well of compassion for others. In your name we pray, amen.

The righteous cry out, and the Lord heareth them, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. To learn to cast all your cares upon Him is the very school of grace wherein every child of God must be enrolled, and it is well that you are longing to graduate from it with honours. You speak of fears, of pain, of rejection by those of your own household. This is a storm indeed, and the vessel of your heart is tossed. But remember, storms are the triumphs of His care; sure He may close His eyes, but not His heart. The practical lesson is this, "trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not to your own understanding." You have been leaning on the broken reed of your own perception of your tragic life, trying to make sense of the whirlwind, and it has pierced your hand. Let it go. The first qualification for serving God with any success, and for doing God's work well, is a sense of your own weakness. You are weak, and so you are ready for His strength. It is not by might, nor by power, but by His Spirit.

You long to be rid of these wicked fears, and I long to see you rid of them too. Have done with the idolatry of imagining that your understanding is the measure of what God can do. He is the living God! He is not the God of the dead, and therefore those of whom He is the God will never die to hope, will never die to usefulness, will never die to His purposes. The rejection by your family is a bitter draught, but He was despised and rejected of men, and the servant is not above his Lord. Perhaps the angels in heaven must almost envy a child of God who has the power and the privilege to suffer for Christ's sake, for theirs is active obedience and not passive suffering. Submit yourself therefore to God; be as the bulrush, moved by the slightest breathing of the Spirit. This complete surrender, this unconditional yielding of every fear and sorrow and shattered hope into His hand, is your only peace. Gracious Father, do you today cast all you have on Him, and all you have not, too, cast on Him.

And as for this holy ambition to see God use all your hurt and pain to win souls, that is the travail that ushers in new birth for others. The power for conversions is heart coming in contact with heart; they who travail in birth for souls will not be disappointed. Did Christ o'er sinners weep, and shall our cheeks be dry? Your deep feeling for others shall make others feel for themselves. Be encouraged: the mother of the wilderness compassionated her child, and God compassionated with her. You pity, God pities. That personal sense of sorrow for souls is an indication that God will bless those souls. Push through the crowd of your own pain to get your hands upon the hem of His garment for another, and you shall find your own issue of blood stanched along the way. Be not straitened in your own bowels, for He is not straitened in Himself. "Fear not, I am with you." Let that be your shield, and your exceedingly great reward. Blessed is the one who can stand in a minority of one with God, for God with you is more than all they that are against you. Our hope lies in this: that He is God, and not man.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The very longing to cast all your cares upon the Lord is itself a gift from Him, but you must understand that the power to do so does not reside in your own resolve. It comes only through the grace of God, for the Scripture shows us that even in great dangers the just man relies not on himself but on the living God, who is the Saviour specially of them that believe. When reason falters and the soul is tempested by pain and rejection, do not lean on your own understanding, for that is to trust in yourself and not in Him who raises the dead. Instead, give thanks for all that has befallen you. Consider Job, who when stripped of everything did not wail bitterly but cried out, “The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away.” By such thanksgiving your very losses are transformed into gain. The rejection of your family, though it feels like a cutting wound, becomes a spiritual treasure when you receive it as permitted by a loving Father who humbles you not to destroy but to teach you to trust wholly in His power.

Do not seek a cold comfort by comparing your sorrows to those of others, for in intense anguish the mind has no leisure for such comparisons. That is a fable of childish reasoning. True consolation is found only in fixing your gaze upon the eternal promises and upon the example of those who endured all things for the hope set before them. And in this you may be assured: if you offer your suffering with thanksgiving and let patience have its perfect work, God will use your hurt for the salvation of others. Even as the apostle spoke of his own perils for the sake of the gospel, so your faithful endurance becomes a living testimony that can win souls. Therefore cease from your own striving and cast yourself entirely upon Him, trusting that He who is able to bring life from the dead will make even this painful season a means of grace both for you and for many.

Your heart is already crying out in the right direction, and that itself is evidence of God’s Spirit drawing you. To cast your cares on Him is not a one-time act we master, but a daily, sometimes moment-by-moment, returning. You are asking to learn what it means to truly trust, to stop leaning on your own understanding of a life that has held so much rejection and pain. And that plea is the very starting point of faith. God is not put off by the struggle; He is pleased when we bring that honest thirst to Him, admitting we cannot manufacture this trust ourselves.

What you are learning, even in this sorrow, is that your soul is priceless. The rejection you have experienced from family cuts deeply, but it does not define your worth before God. He looks at you and sees a child He is redeeming, not with money, but through the poured-out life of His own Son. Because Jesus poured out His soul unto death for you, you have every legal right as a child of God. You have an inheritance that cannot be touched by earthly rejection. When the Scriptures say that as many as are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God, it means your relationship is no longer based on your performance or on others’ treatment of you. It is secured by His own act of adoption.

The pain you carry from a tragic life is very real, and the temptation to ask why God allowed it is equally real. Yet the world’s suffering is not the design of a cruel God, but the fruit of a world in rebellion. Even the enemy himself, the one who seeks to steal and destroy, can only operate under regulated conditions. He serves a purpose he does not intend: the testing of your faith, so that your love for God becomes a choice refined by fire. Your pain can become the very ground where you say, even with a broken voice, “I do not understand this, but I will not curse You. I will trust.”

That trust pleases God. Without faith it is impossible to please Him, but in every small act of releasing your white-knuckled grip on your own understanding, you bring Him delight. God often asks us questions not for His information, but to open us up to confession and surrender. So right now, as you feel the weight of fear and rejection, His question to you is a gentle one: Will you let Me carry this? Your “yes” is the sacrifice of faith He will not despise.

Do not fear that your life will end in desolation. God never leaves the story there. The promise stands: no more tears, no more death, no more sorrow, no more pain, for the former things will pass away. You may feel like you have only a few smooth stones in your brook, but God has already placed exactly what you need for the battles ahead. It requires no great army for Him to work; it may be that all He needs is one fully committed heart making itself available. You are making yourself available right now.

As you let Him heal you, He will use that very healing to reach others. How could someone who has never tasted the bitterness of family rejection effectively comfort the rejected? God will put into your hands the comfort you have received, and you will pour it out for His purposes. Venture out in faith, trusting Him to work through your life in ways you cannot yet see. May your heart pant after Him, for He is faithful to complete what He has begun. In Jesus’ name, rest and strength are yours.
