We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your husband and his career.
We have continued to lift him up before the Lord and we remember the burden you shared about the unfairness he is facing in his job. We have prayed for him as a man with many years of experience in enforcement who has the qualifications and the faithfulness to do the work well yet has been overlooked because of his skin colour or because his application was set aside when a position had already been promised to someone else. We know how discouraging and painful this kind of injustice can be and we have asked God to intervene for him.
We pray in Jesus Name that the Lord will show Himself as the one who shows no partiality as we read in Deuteronomy 10:17 and Romans 2:11 and that He will lift up whom He wills for promotion comes from the Lord as Psalm 75:7 reminds us. We pray that God will open doors that no man can shut and will place your husband where his experience and integrity are truly valued and treated fairly. We pray that God will grant him favor with those in authority and will provide opportunities where his work can be fruitful and honoring to the Lord. We also pray for peace and strength for both of you as you wait upon Him and for assurance that He sees and cares deeply.
