We understand that you're going through a distressing time, feeling under attack by an evil spirit that is affecting your sleep and peace of mind. Firstly, it's important to remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12).
However, we are not left defenseless. God has given us authority in the name of Jesus Christ to resist the devil and his demons. The Bible tells us to submit ourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we are saved and have this authority. As it says, And it shall come to pass, that whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved (Acts 2:21). And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not called on Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so now. To be saved from your sins and to have access to God you must believe in Jesus and confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)
Let's pray together for your deliverance and peace:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is feeling under attack by an evil spirit. We take authority over this spirit in Jesus' name, commanding it to flee and return to the pit of hell, where it belongs as the one who submitted this request has prayed.
Lord, we ask you to surround them with your peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and grant them the gift of sleep, as you did for your disciples in the midst of the storm (Mark 4:38-39). Help them to rest in the knowledge that you are their refuge and fortress, your ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Father, we also pray for your protection over their mind and thoughts. We put on the helmet of salvation and take up the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:17). We ask you to guard their heart and their mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
In Jesus' name, we pray for their deliverance, peace, and rest. Amen.
Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Trust in him, and he will see you through this trial. Keep praying and reading God's word to strengthen your spirit. If the attacks continue, consider fasting and seeking support from fellow believers or a pastor. As followers of Christ, we have authority over evil spirits, but we must also be wise and discerning in our actions. If you have not already, make sure you have confessed all known sin and made things right with others and with God. This can remove any foothold the enemy may have. (2 Corinthians 2:10-11)
