can't even pray today

I know I've just hit a down spot today and, as my mother used to always say: "this too shall pass". I know I need to pray b/c I'm so down. I just can't even bring myself to do do it. How long do we have to stand in the valley before God finally will let us be on the mountain top?

I know God has a plan. I know His plan is far greater than anything I could come up with on my own. I know God will provide all of my needs and those of my children. I have faith in Him. I'm just tired and confused today. Please pray for me to get through this bout of depression that has taken over me today.

Please don't worry, I have the same problem of feeling that I can't even pray and it happens a lot, just ask some of the other members on here.

Just give everything up to the Lord, relax and let us do the praying for you.

Please refresh and revive Jennie today. Help her to identify and remove any activities or thoughts that bring her down. Help her to find those things that please You and refresh her spiritually. Help her grow in spiritually as she travels through this valley. Help her to know she is being refined like silver and You are walking beside her, and even carrying her at times, the entire way through this, if she keeps her eyes on You. Let her be that trusting sheep, following the Shepherd where He leads, trusting him to care for her, to lead her to green pastures, and still waters and rest when she is in need of it. Help her to find an attitude of gratitude within her by listing all that she is thankful for and all the times You have met her need in the past. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.

Her soul is downcast, but you know her desire. You know what's in her heart. Lord it's not about emotions. She is such an inspiration to me. I ask for comfort for her. Peace, mercy and grace. Lord, allow us to hold up her arms as You give Jennie rest. I thank You for working all things out for her good. I praise You for Your goodness. I ask that You place a hedge of protection around her and keep covered under the blood.
