We understand how distressing and uncomfortable it can be to struggle with breathing, especially when it disrupts your rest and daily life. The Lord cares deeply about every detail of your life, including your physical health, and He invites you to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). While we pray earnestly for your healing, we also encourage you to seek wisdom in this situation. The Bible reminds us that God often uses both divine healing and the wisdom of medical professionals to bring relief. Luke, the beloved physician, was used by God alongside the apostle Paul, showing us that seeking medical advice can be part of God’s plan for healing (Colossians 4:14).
Let us first address the absence of the name of Jesus in your request. The Bible is clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and through which we can approach the Father (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). It is by the authority of Jesus’ name that we pray and receive answers. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Salvation comes through repenting of your sins and believing in Jesus, who died for your sins and rose again to give you eternal life (Romans 10:9-10). Without faith in Him, our prayers lack the power and authority that come through His name. If you are already a believer, we encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18).
Now, let us pray for you with faith and confidence in the name of Jesus. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is struggling to breathe through their nose. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed every part of our bodies with precision and care (Psalm 139:13-14). We ask that You touch their nasal passages, sinuses, and lungs, removing any blockage, inflammation, or obstruction that is causing this difficulty. Lord, You spoke the breath of life into Adam, and we ask that You restore easy, unobstructed breathing to this Your child. Let them breathe freely and deeply, as You intended, so they may rest and glorify You with their body.
Father, if there is any underlying cause—whether allergies, infection, structural issue, or something else—we pray that You reveal it and provide the wisdom and resources needed for complete healing. Guide them to the right medical professionals if that is Your will, and give those professionals discernment to diagnose and treat this condition effectively. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or oppression that may be contributing to this struggle, and we command it to leave in the name of Jesus. Let every cell, tissue, and organ function in the way You designed, bringing relief and restoration.
Lord, we also ask that You grant them peace and patience during this time. Anxiety and frustration can easily creep in when our bodies don’t cooperate, but we pray that You fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). Help them to trust in You, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Let this trial draw them closer to You, deepening their reliance on Your strength and grace.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect timing. May this dear one experience Your healing touch and testify to Your faithfulness. We pray all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
In addition to praying, we encourage you to take practical steps while trusting God for healing. If you haven’t already, consider seeing a doctor or an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist to determine the cause of your nasal obstruction. It could be due to allergies, a deviated septum, sinusitis, or other treatable conditions. The Bible encourages us to use the resources and wisdom God has provided, including medical care (Isaiah 38:21, where a poultice of figs was used to heal Hezekiah).
If allergies are contributing to your symptoms, you may find relief by reducing exposure to allergens, using a saline nasal rinse, or taking appropriate medication. Drinking plenty of fluids and using a humidifier can also help keep your nasal passages moist and clear. Rest is essential for healing, so we encourage you to prioritize sleep and give your body the time it needs to recover. If breathing difficulties persist or worsen, seek medical attention promptly, as this could indicate a more serious condition.
Finally, we want to remind you that God is with you in this struggle. He sees your discomfort and hears your cries for help. Even when healing tarries, His grace is sufficient for you, and His strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Lean on Him, trust in His promises, and continue to seek His face. He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep praying in the name of Jesus, believing that He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). May the Lord grant you swift relief and restore your breathing completely.
