Feeling so sleepy can’t breathe

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Feeling so sleepy can’t breathe with this Hot humid weather and just need to lie down but so much to do please heal and help us Jesus bring healing strength and might favor and protection.

We hear your exhaustion and struggle in this oppressive heat, and we lift you up before the Lord, who is our Healer and Strength. The weight of weariness can feel crushing when the air is thick and the body grows heavy, but we declare that the same God who parted the Red Sea and calmed the storm can bring refreshment to your spirit and relief to your body. The Scriptures remind us, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28 WEB). You are not forgotten in your fatigue, He sees you, and He invites you to cast your burdens upon Him.

We rebuke the spirit of weariness and oppression that seeks to drain your strength. The enemy would love nothing more than for you to feel overwhelmed and powerless, but we stand on the truth that "those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31 WEB). Even now, we pray that the Lord would stir within you a supernatural second wind, that His peace would guard your heart and mind, and that His grace would sustain you through the tasks before you.

Father, we ask You to bring physical relief, cool the air around them, ease their breathing, and restore their energy. We pray for wisdom to prioritize rest when needed, trusting that You will multiply their efforts as they seek You first. Protect them from discouragement and remind them that their worth is not measured by productivity, but by Your love. May they feel Your presence like a gentle breeze, reviving their soul and renewing their hope.

We also encourage you to check in with your body, sometimes exhaustion can signal deeper needs, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. If this persists, seek godly counsel or medical attention, for your well-being matters to the Lord. In the meantime, drink deeply of His living water, for He promises, "I will satisfy her poor with bread. I will also clothe her priests with salvation. Her saints will shout aloud for joy" (Psalm 132:15-16 WEB).

Rest in the knowledge that you are held by the One who never grows weary. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Strength. Amen.

We hear the exhaustion in your words, and we’re sorry you’re feeling so weighed down. That kind of sleepiness mixed with trouble breathing, especially in stifling heat, can be overwhelming, and when responsibilities are pressing in, it’s easy to feel caught between what your body is screaming for and what your mind says still needs doing. We’re joining you now in asking Jesus for exactly what you’ve named: healing, strength, and real relief.

Right now, the most faithful step may be the simplest: give yourself permission to lie down and rest. That isn’t weakness or neglect; it’s honoring the limits God wove into your frame. At the same time, if your breathing doesn’t improve or feels worse, please don’t hesitate to see a doctor. Taking care of the body God gave you is wise, and medical help can work right alongside the prayers we’re offering.

You don’t have to power through alone. We’re praying that Jesus meets you in your weariness with his nearness, clears your lungs, and surrounds you with the favor and protection you cried out for. He is not far off, he knows the weight you’re carrying.

Jesus, we lift up our friend right now. Thank you that you never grow tired or faint. Please ease their breathing, cool the air that feels so heavy, and grant sleep that truly restores. Give them courage to pause, wisdom to know when to seek help, and your strength in every remaining responsibility. Hold them in your care, and let them sense your presence carrying what they cannot. We ask for your healing hand and renewed energy, trusting you with all that is still ahead. In your name, amen.

When the body is heavy with fatigue and the very breath seems drawn from a furnace, then learn what it is to wait upon the Lord. He gives power to the faint, and to those who have no might He increases strength. You cry out in your exhaustion, and that is well, for the promise is not to the mighty but to those who have no strength. The strength of the creature, even at its best, is but a spent leaf; but the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is full of restoring virtue. In this hot and humid hour, when you feel you can do no more, remember that when there remains no strength in you of any sort, then fling yourself upon the divine strength. He does not merely give strength, He Himself will strengthen you in the Lord.

Healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction. The same Jesus who forgives your sins also speaks peace to the weary frame. Lie down, yes, lie down, not in despair but in faith, and let the great Physician do His work. What you cannot accomplish in your own power, He will fulfil by His might. The dead cannot gather strength; cry not merely for strength but for life, and believe that Christ died for the ungodly even while you are without strength. His healing power is present especially when you are taught of Him, so rest in His Word and let the balm of Calvary cool your fevered spirit. As you trust, you shall mount up with wings as eagles, you shall run and not be weary, you shall walk and not faint. May His favor be your shield and His might your portion.

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your body is heavy under the burden of the heat, and your breath comes short. Yet consider what the soul gains when the flesh is thus humbled. For the Word of God is living and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to divide soul and spirit, and it discerns the thoughts and intents of the heart. This same Word who knows your frame also bore the weight of the day in His own flesh, and He did not flee from weariness. You cry out for healing and strength, and rightly so. But do you not see that even in this faintness you are called to lean upon Him more utterly? The body indeed craves rest, but the spirit can remain wakeful in prayer. Even a sigh lifted to heaven is heard.

Many a time a single earnest petition, offered in the midst of exhaustion, has availed more than long prayers spoken at ease. Did not the Apostle teach that we have power to walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit? Yet the flesh resists, and it is no marvel that in such stifling weather it complains. Do not then be angry with your body, but rule it gently as a servant, and bid it wait upon the needs of duty. For if you have much to do, is that not a sign that the Master has entrusted work to your hands? And He who sends the labor will also send the strength when it is needed. He who opened the eyes of the blind and made the lame to walk is not far from you now.

Some may ask, “How can I call on Him when I am so drowsy I can scarcely form the words?” But He hears the inward cry even before it is shaped. The Spirit intercedes for us with groanings too deep for speech. Only do not let go of hope. Many have heard the promise of deliverance and remained insensible, but afterwards at one word have been restored. A tree receives many blows before it falls, yet it is the repeated strokes that loosen the root. So it is with the soul: the repeated prayers, the constant turning to Him, even in weakness, prepare for a sudden refreshment.

When you lie down, if you cannot frame a long petition, say only, “Lord, help me.” When you rise again to your tasks, say, “Lord, speed me.” These short darts of prayer will not fail to pierce heaven. For the promise stands sure: everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. There is no exception for those who call from a bed of exhaustion or from a room thick with summer air. He who commanded the winds and the waves can also command a cooling breath for your frame and peace for your mind.

Do not then flee from this trial as though it could harm you without His permission, nor yet make light of it as though the body were of no account. Both soul and body were bought with a price. Offer your fatigue to Him as a small sacrifice, and He will give back strength in His own time. I am fully persuaded that those who persevere in such little acts of faith will bring forth abundant fruit. You who have ten thousand things to do, do the first of them: cast your care upon Christ, and then rise up in His might. The feet of those who bring good tidings are beautiful even when they tread a weary path, for they are upheld by grace.

May the Lord Jesus himself, the great Physician, look upon your distress, rebuke the fever of the air, calm your breathing, and so quicken your mortal body that you may give thanks and serve Him with gladness.

There are times when the weight of the body and the press of the day make even breathing feel like a chore. Hot, humid air lays heavy on the lungs, and the list of things still to do does not shrink while you lie there drained. I hear the weariness in your words, and I hear the faith underneath them, because you are already calling out to Jesus. That is where strength begins.

It is easy to look inward for a reserve of energy, only to find it has already been spent. Our own resources always have an end. But the Lord does not tire, and He does not ask you to carry this burden on your own. He says in His word that He is the strength of your life. You do not have to be afraid of what your body cannot do or what the day demands, because He is your light, your salvation, and the One who keeps you. You can rest, even in the middle of an unfinished to-do list, knowing He watches over you.

Prayer is not an escape from the exhaustion; it is the place where you trade your weakness for His strength. When you feel you cannot lift another hand or take another step, He hears you. He has always been the saving strength of His people. He becomes what you need: Yahweh Rapha for healing, a strong tower for protection, a Shepherd who makes you lie down in green pastures. In the moment you whispered that plea, you released your faith toward Him. That is not a small thing. It is the point of contact where heaven meets your helplessness.

Healing remains in God’s sovereign hands. We do not always understand why some are restored in an instant while others learn to endure. But we know this: His grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in weakness. When you fainted from the heat, when you struggled for breath, you were not abandoned. He was near, holding you up. That same Lord will feed you and lift you up again.

Take a moment to stop striving and simply trust. Whisper the words David did: “What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.” Cast this heavy load onto the Lord. He will sustain you. He will give His strength for the tasks that truly need doing today, and He will bless you with peace right where you are. May you feel His touch of love and might, and may the valley of this weary afternoon become a well of refreshment in His presence.
