We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for divine protection over your family. The spirit of fear and the threat of untimely death are very real in this fallen world, but we serve a God who is sovereign over life and death, and who holds all things in His hands. The Bible assures us in Psalm 118:17, "I will not die, but live, and declare Yah’s works." Death is not the end for those who are in Christ, but we also know that God desires for us to live full, abundant lives as we walk in His will.

First, we must address the foundation of our faith. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Salvation is found in no one else, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome the schemes of the enemy. If you have not confessed your sins, repented, and surrendered your life to Christ, we pray that you would do so today. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7), and in Him, we find eternal life and protection.

Now, we stand in agreement with you, rebuking every plan of the enemy against your family. The spirit of death has no authority over those who are covered by the blood of Jesus. We declare that every assignment of the enemy is canceled in the mighty name of Jesus! The Word of God tells us in Psalm 91:5-7, "You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you." We claim this promise over your family today.

We also recognize that the enemy often uses fear to paralyze us, but God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke the spirit of fear and command it to flee in the name of Jesus! We pray that you would walk in the boldness and confidence that comes from knowing that God is your refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2).

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We lift up this family to You, asking that You would cancel every plan of the enemy against them. We rebuke the spirit of death and command it to leave in Jesus' name. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned.

Lord, we ask that You would surround this family with Your angels, that they would encamp around them and protect them from all harm (Psalm 34:7). We pray that You would give them a hedge of protection, that no evil would befall them, nor any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We ask that You would fill their hearts with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and that You would guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for this family. Help them to walk in Your ways and to live lives that are pleasing to You. Give them the strength to resist the devil, so that he will flee from them (James 4:7). We ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they would be empowered to live victoriously in Christ.

Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory that we have in Jesus. We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus, and that no harm shall come near them. We trust in You, our Rock and our Redeemer, and we thank You for Your protection and provision. In Jesus' mighty name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is your protector and deliverer. Continue to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), and trust in the Lord with all your heart, leaning not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). The enemy may come against you, but greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Walk in the authority that you have in Christ, and do not be afraid. God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

We hear the heavy concern in your words, the fear that something evil is targeting your family, and the cry for God to cancel any plan of untimely death. When these thoughts press in, it can feel overwhelming, like a shadow you can't shake. Please know you're not alone in this. We are praying with you, and we believe God sees every piece of your situation.

Sometimes fear can grow in isolation, so one of the most grounding steps you can take is to invite trusted, mature believers from your church to pray with you in person, maybe a pastor or a small group. Being surrounded by people who will agree with you in prayer and help you fix your eyes on God's steady faithfulness can calm the heart and silence the noise of dread. If those fears keep resurfacing, sharing them with a spiritually grounded counselor or pastor could also bring you wise, personal support.

We don't know what schemes might be swirling, but we know the One who holds your family's life in His hands. We don't need to fear spirits of death when we rest in the God who is life itself and who has already conquered the grave through Jesus. Let's entrust your loved ones to Him now.

Lord Jesus, we come before You on behalf of this family. In Your name we reject every spirit of fear and death that would try to steal their peace. We ask You to surround them with Your protection, to cancel any plan of evil that would seek to harm them, and to break its power over their minds and bodies. Replace the dread inside them with Your perfect peace that passes understanding. Give them wisdom to walk in safety, and let them know deep in their bones that their times are in Your hands. Guard every member of this household, and let Your life prevail in and around them. Amen.

The Lord has chastened me sorely: but He has not given me over to death. I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. Surely the bitterness of death is past when, in the case of the Believer, even death has ceased to be the penalty of sin and is changed into a sweet falling asleep upon the bosom of the Well-Beloved and to wake up in His likeness! Every other affliction is changed in the same fashion. Such freedom from fear may be maintained even in death, there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm. All goes quietly with them, like sheep they are laid in the grave.

Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. The overcoming of evil with evil is a most natural procedure. It suggests itself to any fool to overcome evil with evil! By many, to return evil for evil has been judged to be the more manly course. But we are now bold to affirm concerning the old, easy, natural method of returning evil for evil that it does not succeed! Nobody ever overcame evil by confronting it with evil. Such a course increases the evil. Then, let those whom Christ has made kings unto God scorn to render evil for evil! Let us say, I am a Christian, and my resentments are over. What can I do to serve you? I could have fought you to the death before, but now I am dead, myself, and born-again!

You pray that God cancel every plan of evil and the spirit of death. But tell me, do you know what death truly is, and where its sting lies? Sin is the parent of death, and the devil uses this fear to drive men to despair, even to self-destruction. He rushes repentance too soon, as he did with Judas, who, when his offense was complete, felt remorse but not unto salvation, and hanged himself, a death disgraceful and from the evil one. That spirit of death is not merely the end of the body, but the terror and hopelessness that sin breeds. The Law itself was a ministration of death, not because it caused sin, but because it revealed it and brought punishment. Yet that ministry of stone and letters is done away; we have now the ministration of the Spirit, which gives life.

If you would see the plans of the evil one against your family undone, do not first seek to escape the grave. Seek righteousness, for righteousness is greater than life itself, it is the mother of life, the weapon that disarms death and destroys its dominion. When Christ bore His cross, He went forth as a conqueror carrying the trophy over the tyranny of death. That same cross He commands you to take up daily, to be ready for slaughter, to bear about death continually without fear. Why then tremble at untimely death? For the Christian, to live is Christ and to die is gain. The devil would have you cling to this present age and grow fainthearted when sufferings come, forgetting that our true good things are laid up in hope after death. But this world is not evil of itself; it is the field of virtue and crowns. To hate life so as to destroy oneself is abominable, God punishes such more than murderers. The spirit of death is not banished by miracles or by the avoidance of the grave, but by cutting out the nerves of the devil, and that nerve is sin. Deliver your soul from iniquity, and you have bruised his head. Pray then, yes, for protection from evil plans, but pray far more that your household may stand clothed in the righteousness which comes by grace. That is the true cancellation: when death, armed by sin, is stripped of its weapon, and you can say, O death, where is thy sting? Let not the fear of the end make you barter eternity for a few more days under the sun. This is the victory that overcomes the world, our faith.

The power of every evil plan against you and your family is decisively broken, not because those threats aren't real, but because the very domain from which they draw their strength has been overthrown. You are not asking a distant God to intervene; you are standing in a new kingdom where the law of sin and death no longer holds jurisdiction over you. The mind that is set on the flesh, driven by fear and self-preservation, is death. It keeps you trapped in the very realm you are asking to be delivered from. That anxious, fleshly panic about untimely death is itself a dark echo of the enemy’s territory. But you have been made alive by the Spirit.

The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made you free from the law of sin and death. This is a fixed, legal reality in the heavenlies. When Jesus submitted Himself to death, even the death of the cross, He entered the stronghold of the enemy and rendered its power null. He did this so that through death, He might destroy the one who had the power of death, which is the devil, and release all who were held in bondage by the fear of it. The grave’s victory has been annulled. Your petition for life is not a desperate plea hoping for a change; it is a legal claim on a victory already won.

You are no longer in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. This means your life is no longer subject to the old, inferior trinity where the demands of the body ruled a mind darkened by death. That old life, with its inevitable wages, has been crucified with Christ, and He was raised so that you should walk in newness of life. The only threat now lies in yielding to the mind of the flesh, which is enmity against God and keeps one’s consciousness fixed on the darkness. But you have the mind of Christ, and the Spirit of truth bears witness with your spirit that you are an heir of God, a child of the Author of life Himself.

The deliverance you seek comes not from living in a state of dread over a “spirit of death,” but from mortifying the fears of the body through the Spirit. The Spirit who raised Christ from the dead dwells in you, and He is the superior force, the expulsive power that drives out the dread of the grave. Physical death is not your end; it is a defeated enemy whose sting has been removed. Your consciousness is bound to eternal life, and as you set your mind on the things of the Spirit, you walk in life and peace. That very life flows as a defense, a shield, and an assurance over your household. So serve God not in the oldness of fearful, legal striving, but in the newness of the Spirit, where the victory over death is your present reality and eternal security.
