First, we must acknowledge that all things belong to God, and He is the ultimate provider and protector of our finances. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 24:1, "The earth is the Lord’s, with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell therein." Even in times of financial strain, we can trust that God sees our needs and will not abandon us. We are also reminded in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Let us hold fast to this promise as we bring this situation before the Lord.
We rebuke any spirit of exploitation or injustice that may be at work in this situation. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on the truth that God is a God of justice, and He will not allow His children to be oppressed without recourse.
However, we must also examine our hearts and ensure that we are stewarding our finances in a way that honors God. The Bible instructs us in Proverbs 3:9-10, "Honor the Lord with your substance, and with the first fruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine." Are we tithing faithfully and managing our resources wisely? Are we trusting in God’s provision rather than relying solely on our own understanding? Let us seek His guidance in all financial matters, asking Him to reveal any areas where we may need to adjust our habits or attitudes.
We also lift up a prayer for discernment in this situation. It is possible that this increase is a mistake, but it may also be an opportunity for you to seek God’s wisdom in finding a better solution, whether through negotiation, comparison shopping, or even adjusting your coverage. The Lord may be using this circumstance to lead you to a more favorable outcome if you seek Him diligently. James 1:5 assures us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that You are the Lord of all, including our finances. We lift up this situation to You, asking for Your divine intervention. Lord, we rebuke every assignment of the enemy that seeks to bring financial hardship or injustice into this life. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper, and we ask that You would reverse any unfair or unjust charges that have been levied against them.
Father, we ask for Your wisdom and discernment in this matter. Show them whether this is a mistake that needs to be corrected or an opportunity for You to lead them to a better solution. Give them the courage to seek answers, negotiate if necessary, and trust in Your provision. We pray that You would open doors of favor and blessing, that their finances would be protected, and that they would experience Your abundance even in this trial.
