Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Your prayer has been heard with thankfulness, and I join you in giving thanks to God for life and health and every blessing He has given.
You asked for strength when your energy is low and for the right tools and strategies to do your work well and keep everyone safe, and for love and light in your life. This is a right and humble prayer. Scripture teaches us that God allows our weakness so that we may lean more fully on Him, for He said, My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. When we feel pressed on every side yet not crushed, perplexed yet not in despair, it is His power at work in us.
True calm does not come only when everything around us is quiet. The strength that virtue and faith give is shown most when the storm is strong and temptations and duties press upon us, and yet the heart remains steady because it rests in Christ. So we ask not only for easier circumstances, but for an inner calm that remains firm even in the midst of work and responsibility.
Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we thank You for life, for health, and for Your daily mercies. You see this need for energy and wisdom. Grant renewed strength for the work that must be done, clear mind and practical tools and strategies to act wisely and to keep all entrusted to this care safe. Fill this life with Your love and Your light, and let cheerfulness of heart and trust in You bring health to body and soul. Guide every step and let all be done for Your glory. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
