Call For Fasting 3

Hello every one as we start this fast I felt lead to share some verses on fasting.

Matthew 6: 16-18 And when you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that their fasting may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

Isiah 58:6 “Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke?

Be strong during this fast, the enemy knows how powerful fasting is and will try to stop you by putting thoughts in your head of reasons to stop. Surround yourself in Gods presents with music and reading His word. Speak to God continuously He will answer. There is so much power in fasting it will change you God will give you an encounter with Him. Seek His answers and be sure you pray for others not just your self.

Job 42:10 - And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

WOW praise God! God is on the move.

That is so wonderful Scott and Green. Yes I will continue to pray that God will give each and everyone of these spouses named on this board a Damascus road experience the way he did Saul/Paul and that he will remove their hard hearts and replace it with a heart of flesh and a desire to do his Will.

We all need to be praying that no weapon formed against any of these marriages will prosper.

I am praying for you Scott!!! God will bless that conversation. I pray that the Lord will touch every single one of our spouses' hearts this Easter. I pray that the Lord will resurrect these marriages just like how our Savior was resurrected. May God fill us with His faith this week as we stand together and pray for each other and our spouses. May God move in mighty ways this week for all of us and our marriages. In Jesus' mighty and Holy name i pray, AMEN!!!! Glory be to God!!

When I said God was on the move, He is on the move.

Its been a long time coming, but I finally had my breakthrough tonight.

The preacher's message tonight was on forgiveness and if there was any one from relationships, marriages, etc that we needed to ask forgiveness from, now is the time to do it.

Well, I got home and saw that I had missed a call from my wife. I prepared myself for whatever this conversation was getting ready to cover and called her. She started out by wanting to set up a time to come get some of her things. Told her what our preacher's message was and the odds of her calling tonight.

She agreed that it wasn't a coincidence. Did talk about the bible again with her and told her Im not preaching to you, I just like talking about God and the bible regardless of who Im talking too but if she felt I was preaching to her, I was sorry and that was not my intentions.

We had a very good conversation after that and yes, I took the opportunity since our Weds night message was on this to ask her to forgive me of pushing her away and for placing up those walls. I could have been a better husband had I had the relationship with God then as I do now.

She said yes I forgive you and that she had forgiven me of that long before I ever asked it.

Told her that I forgave her aswell and no matter what happens and what ever choice she makes. The main thing is to not turn your back on God regardless of what you decide.

We must have talked for 2 hours and I told her it was nice talking to her as its something we had not done in a long time. When we hung up she said I would like to call you again and I said that would be nice.

To God all the glory because yes the message preached tonight and my wife calling tonight were by no means a coincidence.

Now some may think me talking about the bible would push her further away however I had already asked God before I called to give me the words so I feel everything I said, Is what God wanted said.

I truly believe He is using people around her to reach out to her and open her eyes. The same way he gives each and everyone of us the opportunity to turn and repent of our sins before we invoke his wraith.

Its up to every Christian to plant the seed and then God does the rest.

My mom brought up a very good point when I called her abit ago. She said this was the third time my wife had been spoken too by her and me. The number three has significance in the bible. The Trinity, Jesus rose on the third day to name a few. Plus we have resurrection Sunday coming up.

I pray that the words spoke to my wife do not fall on deaf ears and she doesn't go the route of Peter who denied Christ 3 times.

God is truly on the move in each and everyone of these marriages RIGHT NOW. We need to get serious with prayers asking in faith believing that he will change the heart of each and everyone of these wayward spouses.

It was said to me that when God works a miracle he does so in such a way that everyone would know that it had to be from Him and no one could write it off as pure chance.

Amen Green and Raven!!!! I am so thrilled for you guys!!! To God be all the glory!!! Let us all continue to pray fervently this week for each other and our spouses. God WILL turn these situations around suddenly.

Since everyone is sharing testimonies i also kind of have one. So this monday i called my husband to tell him that he had a peice of mail that just came that day. He answered with such joy in his voice. We had a good conversation. I invited him to come with me to a pay that my chrch is having tomorrow evening. He said he'll see if he could make it. I also invited him to come to church with me this sunday and he said he might be going with his aunt and uncle. He said he would let me know if anything changes. I said ok. I felt a little down though. Then suddenly he was like " So i was thinking about my next tattoo. and i was thinking that when i go get it.......i'll bring you with me...." I was like"Yayy!! yes i would love to!!" Getting tattoos together was always our thing when our relationship first got serious. He said "alright cool i'll let you know when." I was so excited because this was one of my specific prayers that i wrote down on a list. That he would start inviting to go places with him. I praised God when we hung up. I just pray that he really does take me with him....

I am so happy that things are happening with us and our spouses. May God work in mighty ways this week!!! amen!!

Of course we will pray Green. You hang in there.

Keep in mind especially with all these breakthroughs happening that its making 1 person in particular very unhappy so we are gonna be coming under fire.

Remember the God we serve is a God of all things possible.
