Call For Fasting 3

Hello everyone as we start this fast I felt led to share some verses on fasting.

Matthew 6: 16-18 And when you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that their fasting may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

Isaiah 58:6 “Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke?

Be strong during this fast, the enemy knows how powerful fasting is and will try to stop you by putting thoughts in your head of reasons to stop. Surround yourself in God's presence with music and reading His word. Speak to God continuously He will answer. There is so much power in fasting it will change you God will give you an encounter with Him. Seek His answers and be sure you pray for others not just yourself.

Job 42:10 - And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

My excitement of what God is going to do is so high right now. I can't wait to see the testimonies. Be strong and remember we have all authority over the enemy make sure you let the enemy know that you know that.

God bless

Had the opportunity to speak to my wife again as she came down Saturday to pick up our son.

Still pray that the words spoken to her were seeds and that God will grow those seeds.

Your wife will hear God's voice soon. Make sure you're ready to be the Godly husband God has intended you to be so your wife has someone to lean on. And make sure the "I told you so" words never come from your lips.

Well, at least there is SOME communication now.

Honestly, it was getting very disheartening to not see any breakthroughs at all, but thanks and praise to God that He did show me a breakthrough and He answered my prayer of at least giving me some kind of breakthrough.

I tried to make her feel as welcome as possible while she was down. She did say that she could never return because of all the damage done. Told her we all make mistakes and that she is no different.

Then said you have to ask yourself just who is telling you that you cannot return? God or Satan? She said the Devil would be. Said to her that really makes me feel good. Why? Because you have not hardened your heart to the point that you are blinded to God's word and Will.

Raven, I am thrilled for you!!! I'm literally sitting at my desk at work, holding back tears of joy, praising God that your wife has initiated communication with you and soooo happy for your breakthrough! I pray there will be more progress & favor in everyone's lives and marriages.

I haven't really had much to share; that's why my posts have become more infrequent. There's still no contact at all from my husband, but I'm still here waiting, standing, and praying. My husband has a new job, so he doesn't work with the OW anymore. I thank God for putting a little distance between them. I'm tempted to reach out to him, but I remember that I need to let God work on the situation and I shouldn't interfere. I pray that when the timing is right, my husband will reach out to me.

I do log on to read everyone's testimonies and am grateful knowing that God is turning hearts. I'm inspired to know that even through the challenges, discouragement and doubt, God's unfailing love has blessed you all in some way. It reminds me that trials are only for a season, so we must pray without ceasing and never lose hope.

Anyway, it's been a while and I just wanted to leave a quick note... I look forward to reading more testimonies, and I hope that soon I can share some good news with you all too.

In Jesus' name, be blessed.

Mari it is so great to hear from you again. I was just thinking about you today while I was at work hoping that you were ok. I'm so happy to hear that your husband no longer works with the OW. I know God is working on your situation. I am also starting to lose hope again. I don't know why but I just feel a little sad and hopeless again. My husband seems to be very happy where he is now. I'm starting to think that he doesn't really miss me at all. I pray that he does but there's just no telling. All I can do is just continue to take each day as it comes and pray and wait.

Mari thank you and it's good to see you back, your breakthrough is coming. It seemed while everyone else was experiencing breakthroughs, me and you were not receiving anything.

Yes you are right in that our trials are only for a while. God has the ability to restore each and every one of these marriages today if He so chooses. I have been told that when God doesn't pull us out of our trials when we call out to Him is because we are going through that trial to refine us.

How many of us here have been that close to God when things were going good?

However, now that we have had our world rocked, we have clung to Him. God wants that close relationship from each and every one of us all the time.

What's to say if God had answered our prayers as soon as we called out to Him and returned our spouses, that we would have just gone back to our old ways sooner or later.

Honestly, I think I have gotten to the point ### is at. If God chooses to move this mountain and restore my marriage then that's wonderful; however, if He chooses not to, I realize it worked out that way for a reason and God has a better way and plan for me.
