By his stripes

I command every symptom to leave my body right now. By his stripes I was healed in the mighty name of Jesus

We stand with you in faith, declaring the power of the blood of Jesus Christ over every affliction in your body. The Word of God is clear: "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). This is not just a promise, it is a spiritual reality purchased for you on the cross. We rebuke every symptom, every pain, and every trace of sickness in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is written, "Who his own self bore our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed" (1 Peter 2:24).

Yet we must also address the manner of your declaration. While we affirm the authority of the believer to speak healing in Jesus’ name, we must ensure our words align with humility and submission to God’s will. The name of Jesus is not a magical incantation to be wielded at our command, it is the name above all names, the name by which every knee shall bow (Philippians 2:9-11). When we declare healing, we do so in reverence, trusting that His will is perfect, whether He chooses to heal instantly, progressively, or for His glory in another way.

We also encourage you to examine your heart and life. Is there unconfessed sin that may be hindering your healing? "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective" (James 5:16). Have you sought godly counsel, medical wisdom, and the support of fellow believers? Healing is often a process that involves multiple facets of God’s provision.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician. We thank You for the finished work of the cross, where Jesus bore our sins and our sicknesses. Lord, we declare that by His stripes, [this individual] is healed. We rebuke every symptom, every spirit of infirmity, and every work of the enemy in their body. We speak life, health, and wholeness over every cell, every organ, and every system, for Your Word says that You send forth Your word and heal them (Psalm 107:20).

Father, we ask that You would strengthen their faith. Help them to stand on Your promises even when circumstances seem contrary. Give them patience and perseverance as they wait on You. If there is any area of their life that is not aligned with Your will, reveal it to them, Lord, so they may repent and walk in fullness of health and holiness.

We also pray for wisdom for those providing medical care. Guide the hands of doctors and nurses, and let every treatment be effective according to Your will. Surround [this individual] with a community of believers who will stand with them in prayer and encouragement.

Lord, we trust You. Whether You choose to heal instantly or work through the process, we know that Your plans are for good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11). May Your name be glorified in every outcome. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name that is above every name. Amen.

Continue to stand on God’s Word, beloved. Meditate on Scriptures of healing, such as Psalm 103:2-3, Jeremiah 30:17, and Matthew 8:17. Surround yourself with believers who will pray in agreement with you, and do not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season, you will reap if you faint not (Galatians 6:9). God is faithful, and His promises are yes and amen in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 1:20).

We hear the boldness in your declaration, and we’re standing with you, holding fast to the truth that Jesus has already secured your healing. It’s encouraging to see such faith, and we’re praying right alongside you for every symptom to leave in His name.

Sometimes, even as we command symptoms to go, the wait can feel longer than our resolve. In those moments, we’ve learned to anchor ourselves not just in the outcome but in the Healer Himself. Keep speaking God’s promises over your body; that’s deeply good. And when the pressure lingers, we’ve found it helps to quietly rest in the knowledge that He is with you in the fire. Your healing is not riding on the perfection of your confession, God’s love holds you steady. So don’t let frustration steal your peace. As you continue to pray boldly, also lean on the practical care God provides through doctors and medicine; they’re not a sign of weak faith but often a gift of His common grace.

We also want to remind you that this struggle isn’t yours to carry alone. We’re in it with you, and more importantly, Jesus Himself is closer than your next breath.

Lord Jesus, by Your stripes we ask for this dear one’s healing. Let every symptom yield to Your authority right now. Bring full relief, strength, and restoration. Wrap them in Your peace that doesn’t make sense, and steady their heart when answers feel slow. We rest in Your goodness, trusting that You are working even when we cannot see. In Your mighty name, amen.

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The cry of your mouth is bold, yet it betrays a misunderstanding of the great word from Isaiah. You take that precious promise and wield it as a command, as though the Lord's healing is fetched by the imperious tone of your voice. Consider well: the text does not say, "By His stripes we command," but "we are healed." The healing flows from His sovereign dispensation, received by the empty hand of faith, not extorted by a loud declaration.

What is the malady most surely cured by those stripes? It is the deep-seated fever of sin, the palsy of a soul estranged from God. The Prophet speaks of a healing where pardon and purging are the chief remedies. The body's pains are real, and the Lord can and does touch them with compassion, yet the greater work is the removal of guilt's undying worm from the conscience. You have reached for the body's ease while perhaps passing by the soul's desperate need. Christ's stripes are first a balm for the broken heart, a cure for the sin-sickness that must otherwise prove fatal. Has that healing been truly received? Has the plague of your own heart been shown to you, and have you looked to Him who took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses in His own body on the tree?

Do not think I am harsh. I bear my own witness that by His stripes I am healed, healed from the love of sin, healed from despair, healed in my inner man. And as a child of God, you may bring your fevers and weaknesses to the Great Physician in prayer, trusting His power and His wisdom. But mark the difference between the cry of faith and the presumption that seizes the promise as a lever to force the hand of the Almighty. Faith says, "Lord, if Thou wilt, Thou canst make me whole," and leaves the outcome to His covenant love, knowing that the ultimate healing of this mortal frame awaits the Resurrection morning. The very leaves of the Tree of Life are for healing, and sometimes He grants a gracious drop of bodily restoration now, but He will not have us dictate the hour or the measure.

True teaching, which is Christ's own way, leads the soul to lie passive in His hand, trusting that nothing is left for us to bear as a penalty, for the chastisement of our peace was upon Him. That is the healing point: the contact of His hand lifting us up from our lost estate. So make your requests known with thanksgiving, but let your boldness be seasoned with holy reverence. Seek His face for the pardon that sweetens every cup, and for the grace that makes the sickbed into a sanctuary. His timing is perfect, and His grace is sufficient, whether He rebukes the fever now or bids you wait until that day when the inhabitant shall no longer say, "I am sick."

I hear both faith and fervor in your words, and that zeal is not to be despised. You cling to the stripes of Christ as your healing, which is right, for by them we are cleansed and restored. Yet take care, lest in your commanding you miss the Physician's own method. When Christ healed the paralytic, He did not merely speak a word of power and depart. He found him afterward and said, "Behold, thou art made whole; sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee." The body was made straight, but the soul required a further healing, and a warning. For God, like a wise physician, often permits the body to suffer so that the soul may be cured of a deeper sickness. That fever, that pain, may be a cautery applied to a spiritual disease that internal remedies have not reached.

Do not suppose that every prayer offered with a loud voice obtains its answer in the way we demand. Lazarus' sisters heard Christ say, "This sickness is not unto death," and yet they buried their brother. They were not offended, but when Christ came, they saw a greater work: death itself overthrown. Had He healed Lazarus from his bed, they would have received a gift. By raising him from the tomb, they received a revelation. Consider, then, whether a delay in your healing, or a healing that comes not with a command but with a quiet endurance, might be designed to impart a greater medicine to your soul. For what is the profit of a body beautifully whole, if the pilot of the soul is sunk beneath the waves?

Lay hold of the promise, yes, but let your grasp be one of humble trust, not of command. For even the Apostle Paul, that vessel so full of grace, was given a thorn in the flesh. He asked thrice for its removal, yet the Lord answered not by taking the thorn, but by giving sufficient grace. And this was the greater healing, for the body's weakness became the soul's stronghold. So while you speak of commanding symptoms to leave, I urge you rather to seek the Healer first, and to examine the soul's state with fear and trembling. Sin is a fearful thing, the ruin of the soul, and its mischief overflows into the body. When the soul is feverish with pride or sensual lust, old age or sickness often comes as a calm, repressing those passions like enemies, and setting the soul in a place free from troubles.

Do not be like those who demand a remedy on their own terms, then stumble when the event seems contrary. We are members of one body, and the hand cannot say to the Head, "I have no need of your wisdom in my pain." Trust the great Physician. He who knows the root, even when we see only the stricken trunk, will apply the blow that brings the whole tree down in repentance, or the single touch that restores perfect health in an instant. Cry out by all means, "By His stripes let me be healed," but let it be with the humility of one who says, "Nevertheless, not my will, but Thine be done." For the healing of the soul from sin is the truest health, and next to that eternal life where no sickness can enter. Seek that first, and whether the body is released now or later, you have gained what cannot be lost.
