We lift you up before the Lord, dear sister, and we thank Him that you have acknowledged His grace in sustaining you even in the midst of this trial. It is indeed by His mercy alone that we are upheld, and we rejoice that you are calling upon the name of Jesus in this time of need. You have done well to bring this before Him, for He cares deeply for you and has promised to never leave you nor forsake you.
The uncertainty of housing and the weight of financial strain can feel overwhelming, but we remind you of the words of our Lord in Matthew 6:25-34, where He tells us, *"Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? ... But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."* Your Heavenly Father knows your needs, and He is faithful to provide. We pray that He will open doors for you to resolve the issues with your lease, granting you favor with landlords, legal aid, or godly counsel to navigate this situation. May He supernaturally supply the funds needed to cover your arrears, whether through unexpected provision, wise stewardship, or the generosity of His people.
We also grieve with you over the betrayal and manipulation you’ve experienced from those you once trusted. It is painful when people who should offer support instead turn against you, and we acknowledge the loneliness and sadness this has brought. But take heart in Psalm 27:10, which says, *"When my father and my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will take me up."* The Lord sees the wounds inflicted by those who bullied and tried to control you, and He is your defender. Proverbs 19:5 warns, *"A false witness shall not be unpunished. He who pours out lies shall not escape."* We pray that God will expose the deceit of those who have harmed you and surround you instead with godly, trustworthy believers who will stand with you in truth and love. Ask Him to lead you to a community of faith where you can find genuine fellowship, for He has promised in Hebrews 10:24-25, *"Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."*
In this season of fear and confusion, we urge you to cling to the peace that surpasses understanding, as Philippians 4:6-7 declares: *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Cast your anxieties upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). We rebuke the spirits of fear, confusion, and despair in the name of Jesus, commanding them to flee from you. You are not helpless, for the Lord is your strength and your shield (Psalm 28:7). Stand firm in His promises, and do not let the enemy’s lies take root in your heart.
Finally, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s wisdom in how to move forward practically. If legal representation is needed, ask Him to provide it—perhaps through pro bono services, Christian legal aid ministries, or even a believer in your network with expertise in this area. Be diligent in seeking resources, but do so with the confidence that your help comes from the Lord (Psalm 121:2). Keep a record of all communications regarding your lease, and pray for clarity in how to address any unjust terms. If you have not already, consider reaching out to your church or local Christian organizations that may offer assistance to those in need.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, lifting her needs and burdens to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the God who parts the Red Sea, who provides manna in the wilderness, and who turns mourning into dancing. We ask that You intervene in her housing situation, Lord—supernaturally provide the funds needed to cover her arrears and resolve the issues with her lease. Grant her favor with those in authority, and if legal representation is required, open the door for godly, competent counsel to stand with her. You are the God of justice, and we trust You to defend her against any unfairness or deception.
Father, we also pray for her heart, which has been wounded by betrayal and manipulation. Heal the pain of those who turned against her, and surround her with Your people—those who will love her sincerely, speak truth, and walk with her in faith. Remove the loneliness and replace it with Your presence, which is ever near. Let her find a community of believers who will uplift her, pray with her, and remind her of Your faithfulness.
Lord, we rebuke the spirits of fear, confusion, and despair that have sought to overwhelm her. Fill her instead with Your peace, Your wisdom, and Your unshakable hope. Remind her that she is not defined by her circumstances but by her identity in Christ—redeemed, beloved, and more than a conqueror through Him who loves her.
We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, who is her Provider, her Protector, and her Peace. May she see Your hand move powerfully in her life, and may this trial become a testimony of Your goodness. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her trust in You grow deeper with each passing day. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
