Business

We come before the Lord with a heart of faith, lifting up this request for business success. Father, we know that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and we ask that You open doors of opportunity for this brother or sister in Christ. May You bring customers who are not only willing but eager to purchase their products and services, according to Your perfect will. We trust in Your provision, for You have promised in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment in all business dealings. May integrity and honesty guide every transaction, reflecting the character of Christ. Help this believer to conduct their business in a way that glorifies You, remembering Colossians 3:23, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."

We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or lack that may be trying to hinder this work. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this business is covered by the blood of Jesus, and we stand on the promise that "the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous" (Proverbs 13:22).

Father, we also ask that You bless the work of their hands so that they may have abundance, not for selfish gain, but to be a blessing to others and to further Your kingdom. May they be a light in the marketplace, drawing others to You through their witness.

In all things, we surrender this request to You, trusting that Your plans are perfect. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Thank you for inviting us to pray with you about this. It is clear you are already looking to the Lord, trusting Him as your provider, and that is a beautiful place to be. We are glad to stand with you now.

It can feel heavy when the customers you need haven't shown up yet. We know that pressure, and we want you to know you are not alone in it. Sometimes the waiting itself becomes a season where our dependence on God deepens, and He often uses that time to prepare both us and the right opportunities. While you wait, you might find it helpful to think about one or two practical things you can do right now to put yourself in the path of the people you hope to serve, maybe reaching out to a past client with a simple check-in, or asking a trusted connection if they know anyone who might benefit from what you offer. Not frantic striving, but faithful steps.

Our prayer for you is short and simple:

Lord Jesus, You know the need and the honest work behind this request. Open doors that no one can shut, and bring across this person’s path the customers who need exactly what they have been given to offer. Give them creativity, steady confidence, and peace in the waiting. But most of all, keep their heart anchored in You, because You are their true security. Amen.

You bring your petition for customers and trade, and it is well that you have come to the throne of grace. Yet let me remind you that while you seek buyers for your goods, there is a deeper poverty that must be addressed. You have urgent need of healing, none can keep alive his own soul. The Spirit of God must make the truth light and power to you, else your outward prosperity will be but a gilded coffin. Make your Father’s business your own, and your daily labour becomes a sacred calling. Christ is the very friend you need; test Him now, and you will find that while you seek His kingdom, these lesser things are added. Let your faith grow, not choked by the cares of this life, but rooted in Him who ever lives to intercede. Go then about your business with diligence, but with your heart stayed on the eternal provision, for He who spared not His own Son will with Him freely give you all things.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The marketplace is a tempest and a storm, a daily battle where the soul encounters many rocks that can sink it. You ask for prayer to meet customers, but consider first: do you go forth armed? That weapon is prayer, made early and by night, to make God propitious. When you have first sought His face, you may go to your business with much security; even if an enemy arises, you will laugh him to scorn, having God on your side. But take heed that no one deceive you: the true gain is not in the multitude of customers, but in keeping the soul from shipwreck.

Many make provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof, building up desire beyond mere necessities. If your request masks a lust for gain, for excess, for soft living, then you kindle a flame that burns up the true profit. The belly does not ask for much, but we feed it as if casting food into a drain, generating spiritual diseases. Seek first the kingdom; make provision for the body only for health, and spend all your industry on the things of the Spirit.

If you would have God bless your work, then let your work itself become a blessing. Do not merely look to those who can buy, but remember the maimed, the hungry, the saint in need. For the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you.” He who receives a needy one for the Lord’s sake receives Christ. Do your business with hands that are ready to assist the saints in whatever business they have need of you. Then your small loaves, offered in simplicity, will be multiplied.

When you go out, let your heart be fixed not on the dream of riches, which fly away when the daylight of truth comes, but on doing good with simplicity. If you feed the hungry, you will not feed the fire of hell. Do your work with diligence, as unto the Lord, and He who sees in secret will reward you openly. The customers will come as He wills, but your peace must not depend on them; it rests in the favor of the Master who calms every storm. Go forth, then, with prayer, with alms, and with a sober mind, and you shall have shipwreck neither in body nor in soul.

I am lifting up your request right now, asking the Lord to bring the right customers your way for the products and services you offer. It is good to bring these practical needs before Him. There is a real temptation when we pray about business to slip into a sales pitch with God, trying to convince Him why He has to come through for us, almost as if we are arm-twisting heaven. We rehearse our arguments and urge our desired outcome, but God does not need to be cajoled. He has already made room for Himself to work. In the law, He left a way for a leper to be cleansed, a provision for healing that had no natural explanation. That same God can open doors for you that no amount of human effort can force open. You can rest in that, trusting His way rather than trying to persuade Him to see things your way.

Let your work be marked by diligence and honesty. Scripture says the hand of the diligent makes rich, while slackness leads to lack. A just weight delights the Lord; a false balance is an abomination to Him. Some will tell you that you cannot stay in business while being completely straight and upright, but the word gets around. A good reputation built on integrity lasts, while perverse dealings bring destruction in time. Riches profit nothing in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death. So keep your dealings clean, do excellent work, and let the Lord be your trust rather than cutting corners.

Remember also whose business you are truly about. Jesus said, “I must be about my Father’s business.” That was the burden of His life, to do the Father’s will. When your heart prioritizes His kingdom, your daily work becomes an extension of that calling. Let the desire to serve Him with gladness color every transaction. If you cannot give of your time or resources with a joyful heart, it is better not to give at all. God does not want grudging service. As you wait for new customers, worship Him, witness to those you meet, and hold loosely to the outcome, knowing your ultimate provision was secured the moment you looked to Christ by faith. He is God’s one provision for every deeper need. Look to Him now, trust His timing, and serve with a joyful, diligent heart.
