We lift up this business journey to the Lord with great joy, recognizing that every good and perfect gift comes from Him (James 1:17). It is clear that you acknowledge God’s provision in your work, and we join you in praying for His divine protection, guidance, and blessing over this trip.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your hand of favor and safety to rest upon this journey. Lord, we pray for traveling mercies, guard every mile, every turn, and every moment of this trip. Protect the vehicle, the roads, and all who share them, that no harm or delay would come. Grant wisdom and clarity in navigation, that the destination would be reached without confusion or hindrance. We declare Your promise from Psalm 91:11-12, that You will command Your angels concerning us to guard us in all our ways, and they will bear us up in their hands so that we will not strike our foot against a stone.
Father, we also pray for the success of this business endeavor. You have entrusted this work to provide for needs, and we ask that You open doors no one can shut (Revelation 3:8). The Lord has put it into your mind to seek His face concerning this journey, and that itself is a token of His favor. What a mercy that we serve a God who goes before His people, a shield and a sword, clearing the way according to His sovereign will. You speak of traveling for the business He has given you; remember, then, that your daily calling is a sacred trust, and that the path of obedience is the path of safety. Commit your works unto the Lord, and your thoughts shall be established. He who watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps; the same God will be your guide at every turning and your help when the way seems uncertain.
You ask for protection, for wisdom in driving, for a blessed arrival, these are God’s own promises to His chosen. He shall give His angels charge over you. Not a sparrow falls to the ground without your Father, and you are of more value than many sparrows. Yet do not imagine that the absence of trial is the highest mercy. Often, it is in the tight places, the narrow turns, the moments when we feel our own weakness, that we learn most of Divine gentleness upholding us. The Lord may see fit to test your faith with a delay or a difficulty, but if He does, it will be to drive you closer to Himself. When David was hemmed in, he found that the way upward to the Throne was always open. Yours is too.
As for the sale of the cosmetics and the bank transfer, lay these cares before the Lord with open hands. The favor of the Lord alone gives success. A man may rise up early and sit up late, eat the bread of sorrows, and yet have nothing, unless the Lord build the house. Pray that the transaction may be so thoroughly honest, so glorifying to God, that even the profit becomes a sweet savor to His nostrils through Jesus Christ. The heart of the owner of that business is in the Lord’s hand; He turneth it whithersoever He will. If it shall please Him, that heart shall be perfectly disposed toward you. But what is far better, pray that your own heart be perfectly disposed toward God. It is a far greater thing to have the Lord smile upon our souls than upon our schemes.
Rest assured, you are never nearer to Divine help than when you feel you are nothing without it. Our safety lies in our Savior. He is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. That same power which conquered death and sin shall attend you tomorrow, bearing you up as on eagles’ wings. Only let your chief desire be that God be glorified. Whether in gain or in loss, in smooth roads or rough, the one thing needful is that Christ be magnified in you. Go then, with your heart fixed on this reality: the Lord is your keeper. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
