We hear the heaviness in your request and we join with you in bringing this burden before the Lord, asking Him to bring an end to this bullying and oppression that feels without end. We know how exhausting and isolating it can be to feel targeted and watched while simply trying to live your life, and we want you to know you are not forgotten or unseen by God.
The Lord sees the affliction of His people and He is near to those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:17 says The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 46:1 reminds us God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We cling to these promises with you, that even when people persist in doing evil, God remains your shelter and defender.
We also remember that vengeance does not belong to us, but to the Lord who judges righteously. Romans 12:19 says Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. At the same time Jesus calls us to pray even for those who mistreat us. Matthew 5:44 says But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. This does not excuse what they are doing, for bullying and harassing others is evil in the sight of God, but we pray both for your deliverance and for their hearts to be convicted and turned to repentance, that this harassment would stop.
We notice you asked for the Lord to rescue you, and we want to gently remind you that it is through Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the Father and find salvation and deliverance. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is only by placing our faith in Jesus, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we are brought into the family of God and can boldly come to Him in prayer. If you have not already, we encourage you to call upon the name of Jesus Christ and trust Him as your Savior and Lord.
We pray together for you and for all who are suffering in this same way.
Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this dear one who is weary from ongoing bullying and feeling stalked and harassed. Lord, You see what is done in secret and in the open, nothing is hidden from Your eyes. We ask that You would put a stop to the hands of those who do evil, that You would expose their deeds and bring conviction upon their hearts to repent and turn from this oppression. We ask for Your divine protection and rescue, that You would be a wall of fire around Your child and all others who are victims of such targeting. Psalm 91:1 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:2 says I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. Be their refuge and fortress, Lord. Isaiah 41:10 says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Strengthen them when they are weak and afraid, and uphold them with Your righteous hand. Bring justice in Your perfect timing, bring peace that surpasses understanding, and let them feel Your nearness each day. We also pray for every other person who is trying to simply live their life in peace while being harassed, that You would deliver them, comfort them, and lead them to safe community and godly support. We pray that those who are doing the bullying would be stopped and that many would come to know Jesus and be transformed by Your mercy. We ask all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word, and to not walk through this alone. Reach out to a trusted pastor or mature believers in a local Bible believing church who can stand with you, pray with you, and help you seek wise and lawful protection if needed. The Lord is faithful and He will guard you. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 says But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness, so put on the full armor of God and stand firm in Christ. Keep crying out to Jesus, for He hears, He cares, and He will deliver in His perfect way.
