We have read your request and our hearts are moved by your honesty in sharing how broken and overwhelmed you feel. We know what it is to feel that life has become too tough and that the battles are too many to carry alone, and we want you to know you are not alone and you are deeply loved by God. We are lifting you up together before the Father right now and asking Him to meet you in this place of brokenness.
The word of God says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit in Psalm 34:18, and He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds in Psalm 147:3. When our hearts are overwhelmed we are invited to look to Him, for When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I in Psalm 61:2. Jesus Himself says Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest in Matthew 11:28. We also cling to the promise casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you in 1 Peter 5:7 and Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness in Isaiah 41:10.
We want to gently rebuke the lie that there is no hope left for you. That voice of despair does not come from God. Our hope is not in our own strength to hold on, but in Christ who holds onto us. His grace is sufficient for us, for His power is made perfect in weakness as we read in 2 Corinthians 12:9. Even when we cannot hold on, He is holding us. We also take comfort that We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose in Romans 8:28, and For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future in Jeremiah 29:11.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and lasting hope. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me in John 14:6, and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved in Romans 10:9. He is our living hope when all other hope feels gone.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we lift up this precious one who feels broken in many areas and unable to carry the battles any longer. We ask in the name of Jesus that You draw near as the healer of the brokenhearted. Pour out Your peace that passes all understanding, strengthen the weary heart, and lift the heavy burden. Remind this dear soul that You are near, that You care deeply, and that Your grace is sufficient for today. Fill this heart with Your hope, renew strength, and lead to the rock that is higher. Help to cast every worry upon You and to rest in Your unfailing love. Bring godly people around to walk alongside, to encourage and to pray, and guide to a local fellowship of believers and to trusted counsel where support can be found daily. If the thought of giving up grows strong, we ask You to send immediate help and comfort and to make Your presence unmistakably known. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen.
We encourage you to keep crying out to God honestly in prayer, to open His word daily even for a few verses, and to not walk through this alone. Please reach out to a trusted pastor, a mature Christian friend, or a counselor, and if you ever feel you might harm yourself please reach out right away to someone near you or a crisis helpline in your area. We are continuing to pray for you that the God of hope will fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit as promised in Romans 15:13. You are seen, you are loved, and there is still hope in Christ.
