Broken Hearted Mother

For anyone, male or female, who has an adult child with an alcohol or drug addiction, I can feel your pain. My heart is so broken because my son and I no longer talk and probably will never talk again. It isn't because I haven't tried, it's simply because of the way the situation in his life has turned out. He went to detox in 2014 and then to an outpatient rehab center for eight days. At the time, he told me he would never stop drinking. Still, I held out hope. Unfortunately, he relapsed and he's really bad now. He's only ### years old and I am aware that he may not live long. I already lost a son in ### and just don't want to see this happen to my only other son, but there are so many things in life we can't control. He was born with a bad heart and he also drinks monster drinks. All I know to do is pray and cry when I need to. I will continue to love my son, even though it has to be from a distance. Hugs go out to all others who may be going through this. Just always remember, we tried our best.

Praying for your son. Jesus can do wonders in our life. He can do wonderful things for your son. Dear Jesus, please, hear this prayer and heal this son. Take away the desire to drink alcohol and bring him to church and get saved and be on the road that leads to heaven. You healed lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and the lame walked. You can do wonders. We believe it with all our heart. In Jesus name. Amen

Lord Jesus I bring this mother and son’s relationship before You. Abba Father You know the pain and the brokenness that this mother is going through and no one can feel her pain and sadness except You. Lord Jesus we bind the addiction of alcohol or drugs in the name of Jesus to the power of Jesus Christ that the son will be delivered from this addiction including ###. Father we ask that You will tear down the strongholds of addiction in their life that they will be set free. We speak deliverance and breakthrough in this son’s life and we also pray for restoration and healing of relationship between mother and son. Thank You Lord Jesus. For all these we pray . Amen.
