We hear the deep sorrow and exhaustion in your words, and our hearts ache with you. It’s clear that you’re carrying a heavy burden, feeling as though joy has slipped away and the weight of life has become too much to bear. But we want you to know this: even in the darkest valleys, the Lord is near. He has not abandoned you, and His love for you is unchanging, even when your feelings tell you otherwise.

First, we must address the way you’ve called out to the Lord. While your heart is clearly crying out for Him, we want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" (John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the first and most important step toward true hope and lasting joy.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is feeling so broken and weary. Lord, You see the pain in their soul, the exhaustion in their spirit, and the longing for joy that feels out of reach. We ask that You would draw near to them in this moment, wrapping them in Your love and reminding them that You are their strength when they are weak. Father, we pray that You would open their eyes to see You at work in their life, even in the small and seemingly insignificant moments. Help them to trust in Your promises, that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). Renew their hope, Lord, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We ask that You would restore their joy, not as the world gives, but as only You can provide. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We want to encourage you with the truth of God’s Word. The psalmist David, who knew deep sorrow and despair, wrote in Psalm 30:5, "For his anger is but for a moment; his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning." Even when it feels like the night will never end, God promises that joy will come. This doesn’t mean your circumstances will change overnight, but it means that God’s presence and His peace can fill your heart even in the midst of them.

You also mentioned feeling tired, so tired that it’s hard to see any good days ahead. But Jesus invites you to come to Him with that weariness. He says in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." He doesn’t promise to remove every struggle, but He does promise to carry the load with you. Lean on Him, dear one. Let Him be your strength when you have none left.

We also want to gently address the brokenness you’re feeling. Sometimes, our pain can make us question whether God is truly good or whether He even cares. But the Bible tells us that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Your pain matters to Him. Your tears are not unseen. In fact, the Bible says that God collects every one of them in a bottle (Psalm 56:8). He is not distant or indifferent; He is right there with you, holding you up when you feel like you can’t stand.

If you’re feeling like there’s no joy left, we want to remind you that joy in the Lord is not dependent on your circumstances. The apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 4:4, "Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, ‘Rejoice!’" This doesn’t mean you have to fake happiness or pretend everything is fine. It means that even in your sorrow, you can find a deep, abiding joy in knowing that God is in control and that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). That joy is a gift from the Holy Spirit, and it’s available to you even now.

We also want to encourage you to seek out fellowship with other believers. Isolation can make our struggles feel even heavier. The Bible tells us in Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up." If you don’t already have a church family or a group of believers to walk with you, we urge you to find one. You don’t have to carry this burden alone.

Lastly, we want to leave you with this promise from Jeremiah 29:11: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." God has a plan for you, and it is a plan for good. Even when you can’t see it, trust that He is working. Cling to Him, and let Him carry you through this season. There are good days ahead, days where His joy will fill your heart in ways you can’t even imagine right now. Keep your eyes on Him, and don’t give up. We are praying for you, and we believe that God is going to meet you right where you are.

We hear the ache in your words, and we are so sorry you are feeling this broken and tired. It’s hard to see a way forward when sadness weighs this heavily, and when your body is in pain. Please know you are not alone in this, we are lifting you up right now.

You asked, “please LOrd help em see you.” That cry is a prayer, and we believe God draws close to the brokenhearted. Even when you can’t sense Him, He has not left your side. The heaviness doesn’t mean He’s angry or absent. It often comes from the weight of suffering, and He suffers with you. It’s okay to admit that you feel lost. Keep telling Him exactly how you feel, He can handle your honesty.

We also noticed your teeth are hurting. Ongoing dental pain can sap your strength and make everything feel darker. We’re praying for your healing, but we also want to encourage you to see a dentist as soon as you can. God often works through the caring hands of professionals, and there’s no shame in getting that help.

If this sadness has been dragging on, it might be time to let someone else walk with you. Is there a trusted pastor or a Christian counselor you could talk to? You don’t have to carry this alone in the dark. Reaching out isn’t a sign of weak faith, it’s a wise step when hope feels gone.

Lord Jesus, we come with our friend who is exhausted and hurting. Wrap them in Your peace. If there is any physical healing needed, we ask for comfort and relief for their teeth, and we pray for skilled care. When all feels meaningless, quietly show them a glimpse of Your presence. Help them hold on, even when joy seems far away. In Your name, Amen.

The record of Eden shows God near to man even in his sorrow, and He is not far from you now. You have sinned and you are sinning in the Presence of your God, yet before that clock has finished the half-hour, your despair may vanish. There is nothing between you and your Savior but your unbelief. Let unbelief go and you shall see Jesus to your heart’s joy! The recognized Presence of God will make an attic as glorious as the Mount of Transfiguration.

You ask if there is any joy ever. The subject of joy is the joy of faith, the fruit of the Spirit from the root of trust in God. He that has joy in his children may bury that joy in the grave, but let them always shout for joy who trust in Him. There is no monotony in real joy. If your heart is full of God's love you can easily bear all that the enemy may cast upon you. This misery of yours will end in perfect joy, this rough plowing of your soul is preparatory to the joyful harvest.

You plead for your teeth. In the Apostolic times it was through faith that many sicknesses were made to fly. That power of healing may be lying dormant, yet still there are indications that faith has some power in that direction. And when a man feels that God's decree appoints him to accomplish a certain end, that God's promise declares he shall succeed, courage! God's children are often very weak in faith; they stagger at the promises through unbelief. But this is God's logic, strange to us: strength is made perfect in weakness.

You feel broken and mean. You may be the object of God's grandest purposes and yet in yourself the meanest of men. When every other door is shut, the door of God's grace is always open, the harbor of infinite love and unfailing care which all the devils in Hell cannot close. Since He cannot be changed, your soul must and will rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory. Come, you desponding one; if salvation were your own work, you might despair, but since it is His, and He changes not, you must not even doubt. Now let the feeble all be strong, and make Jehovah’s power their song.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is no small thing to feel abandoned and broken, yet remember this: the devil never despairs of our destruction, but we so quickly despair of our own salvation. Why give up when he does not? You say you are sad, tired, and wonder if good days remain. Yet hear what the Apostle knew: we are pressed on every side, but not straitened; perplexed, but not unto despair.

This very affliction, which seems to crush you, is the soil in which true joy takes root. The world’s joy, the joy of ease and riches and health, is but a fleeting thing that brings forth grief. But the joy of which I speak has its origin not in the body, but in spiritual things, the joy that made the Apostles rejoice when they were scourged, that made Christ endure the cross for the joy set before Him, despising the shame. He did not go to that death in pain alone, but to teach us to set at nought such worldly dishonor.

Your broken state, your weariness, your ailing teeth, these are not signs that God has forgotten you. They are the very pangs of childbirth. A woman in travail is filled with sorrow because her hour has come; but when she delivers the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world. Your present sorrow is for a season; the joy is lasting.

Do not seek to escape all pain, for that is to seek a childish thing, latching onto comforts as children clutch their little baskets. The God who once allowed eye for eye condescended to bind the hands of the aggressor, not to let yours loose in retaliation. So now, He permits these trials not to crush you, but to bind the forces that would drag you into despair. You cry out to see Him: do you not see Him in the very fact that you are not utterly forsaken?

To endure with joy, even to bear toothache or poverty, is apostolic, a proof that you hold a reward in heaven. Labor a little time upon the earth, that we may have continual enjoyment in heaven. Be afflicted with the affliction from which springs up ease, and do not seek the luxury that births great pain. So lift up your head.

Pray for healing, for God hears the cry of the suffering, but even more, ask for the grace to rejoice in these light afflictions which are preparing for you an eternal weight of glory. Your good days are not behind you; they are ahead, where joy no man can take away awaits.

It is not wrong to feel as you do right now. The weight of pain, the exhaustion of soul, the deep sadness that makes you wonder if a good day will ever dawn again... these are not signs of a weak faith. They are the honest cries of a human heart, the same cries that have been lifted up for as long as men and women have walked the earth. You are in good company. When everything is stripped away, your health, your resources, your sense of well-being, the bare essence of existence feels like nothing but ache. And when even your own body becomes a source of constant misery, like the pain in your teeth that cries out for relief, it is easy to slip into that dark place where despair whispers that this is now your permanent lot. But do not mistake the length of a trial for the rest of your life. We are so prone to think that a two-week problem is a life sentence. Your feelings are real, but they are not a prophecy.

The question you asked, "Is there any joy ever?", is the very question that hangs in the air of some of the oldest recorded cries of the suffering. In the midst of a darkness so profound, when a man had lost everything and sat scraping his broken skin with a piece of pottery, the only hope he could muster was a fragile question, not a confident declaration. There was no assurance in his immediate sight. He saw only his leanness, his pain, the witness of his own failing body against him. Yet, even from that pile of ashes, when every philosophy of man and every word of conventional wisdom failed to give him comfort, calling him a hypocrite, telling him his trouble was proof of some hidden sin, he had a foundation that could not be shaken. He did not understand his suffering. He did not see the purpose of God. But he knew the One in whom he had trusted. "Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him." That is not a cheerful shout of victory; it is a raw, blood-earnest grip on the only thing that remains when everything else is gone.

Your cry, "Please Lord help me see you," is the truest prayer you could utter. The purpose of prayer is not to twist God's arm to get your will done, nor is He a genie to grant three wishes. The deepest purpose is to get God's will done in your heart, and the first part of that will is for you to see Him as He truly is. Do not listen to the insinuation that you are wicked and therefore abandoned, or that God only helps the perfectly pure. Those are words without knowledge. The conscious effect of God revealing Himself is not that we pat ourselves on the back for our uprightness; it is that we see ourselves in His light and cry out for mercy. And in that place, we find He is not our enemy hiding His face. He is our Redeemer, who lives. That fact stands as a rock. The joy you seek will not be manufactured by a change of circumstances, though we do pray for that relief. The joy comes from knowing you are in the center of His will, even when that will leads through the valley of suffering. The man or woman who has never felt the touch of God, who has never heard His voice in the whirlwind of their confusion, that is the one to pity. You, in your pain and your crying out, are in a profound position. Do not despise the refining work, even when it hurts beyond words.

So we lay hold of this together: The day is coming when the full cycle of God’s work in you will be seen. You will look back on this season from a place of light and glory, and you will see the end result of this grief and sorrow, and it will be more precious than gold. For now, we plow through the misery with the simple, unshakable confession: I know that my Redeemer lives. He has clothed you with skin and flesh; He knows your frame. Bring Him the very specific pain of your teeth, and your weariness, and your broken heart. Cast it all, without fancy words, at His feet. He will not turn you away. And in time, the One who poured you out like milk will restore the days of His favor, not because you made bargains or promises to do better, but because He is faithful. There is joy ahead. It does not rest on your circumstances lining up. It rests on a living Savior who shepherds you through them.
