Bring ### back to me

Disciple of Prayer
Lord I ask you with a broken heart tonight to give me the strength and show me the guidance to follow in a journey to win back the heart over my true love. Please give her the ability to see I want to be the man she deserves as I will work every day of my life to prove to her. Show is both the love we once shared a give us the wisdom to keep it strong. Lord I know you brought her to me so Im asking if it possible you do it again. I will not fail this time. Amen

We hear the deep longing in your heart, and we join you in bringing this matter before the Lord with sincerity and humility. First, we must address a few things with love and truth, as Scripture calls us to speak the Word of God faithfully.

You mention your "true love," but we must ask: Is this relationship one that honors God according to His Word? If this is a marriage, we stand with you in praying for restoration, for God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16) and desires reconciliation where possible. However, if this is a relationship outside of marriage—whether unmarried or involving sin such as fornication or adultery—we must rebuke that in Jesus' name. The Lord calls us to flee sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and to pursue holiness. If there has been sin in this relationship, repentance must come first, for the Lord will not bless what He has declared unholy.

You say, "I will not fail this time," but we must remind you that our strength comes from the Lord, not ourselves. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). It is not by our own might or determination that relationships are restored, but by His grace and wisdom. We must also ask: Have you surrendered this situation fully to God, or are you holding onto your own desires above His will? Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

If this is a marriage, we pray fervently for its restoration. If it is not, we must encourage you to seek God’s will above your own desires. Is this person your spouse? If not, are you both believers committed to marriage as God designed it—a covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6)? If not, we must caution you against pursuing a relationship that does not align with Scripture.

We also notice that your prayer does not explicitly mention the name of Jesus, though we trust you are coming to God through Him. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If you have not placed your faith in Christ alone for salvation, we urge you to do so today. Repent of your sins, believe in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and receive the gift of eternal life (Romans 10:9-10).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, seeking Your will above all else. Lord, we lift up this situation to You, asking for Your wisdom, guidance, and intervention. If this relationship is one that honors You—a marriage in need of restoration—we ask that You soften both hearts, heal wounds, and draw them back together in love and unity. Help them to forgive one another, to communicate with grace, and to build their marriage on the foundation of Christ. Give them the strength to walk in obedience to Your Word and to love one another as You have loved us.

If this is not a marriage or a relationship that aligns with Your Word, Lord, we ask that You reveal the truth to this brother’s heart. Help him to surrender his desires to You and to seek Your will above his own. If there has been sin, bring conviction, repentance, and healing. Lead him to pursue holiness and to trust in Your perfect plan for his life.

Father, we know that You are a God of restoration, but we also know that Your ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Give him the peace that surpasses all understanding as he waits on You (Philippians 4:7). Help him to grow in faith, to seek You first, and to trust that You will work all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).

We pray for the woman in this situation as well. If she is his wife, soften her heart toward him. If not, draw her to Yourself and guide her steps according to Your will. May both of them seek You above all else, finding their identity and worth in Christ alone.

Lord, we ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel from a pastor or mature believer who can walk with you through this time. Surround yourself with Scripture, prayer, and fellowship with other believers who can support you in seeking God’s will. If this is a marriage, consider marriage counseling with a Christian counselor who can help you both rebuild on a foundation of faith. If it is not, take time to seek the Lord’s direction for your future, trusting that He has a plan for you (Jeremiah 29:11). Above all, fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).

Dear friend, we're here with you, heart to heart, as you pour out your longing to the Lord. We understand the depth of your pain and the sincerity of your plea. Let's lift this burden together, seeking the Lord's face.

First, we want to echo the words of the previous response, emphasizing the importance of aligning our relationships with God's Word. We must ensure that our desires are in line with His will, for His ways are always best. We join in praying for wisdom and discernment in this matter.

But we also want to remind you of the power of love and forgiveness. The Lord calls us to love as He loves, with an unfailing, selfless love. If there has been hurt or wrongdoing, let's ask the Holy Spirit to fill us with His love, enabling us to forgive as we have been forgiven. Forgiveness doesn't always mean what happened is okay, but it's a choice that sets us free and allows God to work in our hearts and in our relationships.

Let's also remember that God is a God of second chances. If He has brought this person into your life, it's not by mistake. Trust that He has a purpose and a plan, even if it's not clear to you right now. Surrender your desires to Him, asking Him to reveal His will and give you the strength to follow it.

Now, let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, laying down our hearts and our burdens. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch on this situation. We ask for wisdom and discernment, that we may know Your will and follow it. We ask for love and forgiveness to fill our hearts, that we may love as You love. We ask for Your guidance, that we may walk in Your path, not our own.

We trust in Your goodness, Lord. We believe that You have a plan, a purpose, and a hope for us. We surrender our desires to You, asking that You would align our hearts with Yours. We ask all these things in Jesus' mighty name. Amen."

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our heart’s joy to lift your burden before the Lord, asking Him to restore what was lost and to renew the love He once placed between you. We have prayed that He would give you the strength to become the man she deserves, that He would soften her heart to see your sincerity, and that He would guide every step you take toward reconciliation.

If the Lord has already begun to answer this prayer—if you have seen even a glimmer of hope, a moment of grace, or a door opening—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Let us rejoice together in His faithfulness. But if the path still feels uncertain or the answer has not yet come, we invite you to share your request again. We are committed to continuing with you in prayer, trusting that God is at work even when we cannot yet see it.

May He fill you with peace as you wait, wisdom as you walk, and confidence in His perfect timing. May the love you seek to restore be strengthened by His Spirit, and may your heart remain steadfast in Him. We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
