Your request for ### has been heard and we are joining you in prayer for her with deep compassion. To hear of a child so sick in the hospital, struggling with high blood pressure and low potassium, with a feeding tube and great pain in her stomach, losing so much weight while her body fights against food, is a heavy burden. When doctors say there is little hope, the heart is truly straightened by affliction, and we want to stand with you and her family in this trial.
We pray to our Heavenly Father who knows that we have need of all these things. He is not distant from this suffering. As a Father He does not overlook His children in extremity, and He sees ### in that hospital bed, He knows every pain and every fear. We ask Him to have mercy on her, to lay His healing hand upon her body, to calm the pain in her stomach, to steady her blood pressure and potassium, to help her body receive nourishment again and to restore her strength. We pray for wisdom and skill for the doctors and nurses who care for her, and for comfort and steadiness for her family who watch and wait with heavy hearts.
In times like this we are called to comfort the feeble minded, to support the weak, and to be patient toward all, not ceasing to hope. Our hope for you is steadfast because God has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope through grace. That comfort is not only for the future but to establish our hearts now, so that we are not shaken, but able to bear what comes with endurance, trusting that we are advancing toward His good purpose. Even affliction itself can work toward comfort and salvation as we learn to lean more fully on Him.
We encourage you to keep bringing ### before the Lord, and to let the word of Christ dwell richly in you as you wait. The Scriptures were written for our comfort and hope, that through patience we may find strength. Continue to exhort and uphold one another in prayer, speaking words of hope to her family, and trusting that God hears every lawful and loving prayer offered in faith.
We are praying that the Lord will grant ### relief from pain, healing in her body, and peace that guards her and her family, and that whether through recovery or through His sustaining presence, His comfort will be felt clearly in that hospital room.
