Humble Prayer Partner
Please pray for me. Nina C Wilson. Oklahoma. 63. I was diagnosed with brain damage from drinking alcohol. I drank too much when my husband, James Richard McGeough, “ghosted me and our two daughters. Grown women now. I was fired from my job of over 30 years. I was arrested for public intoxication after asking a police officer for help. I thought I’d locked my keys in the car. My Mugshot was post publicly everywhere. Humiliated. My daughter’s humiliated. My sister humiliated. Sister hates me. Pray for my sister Lisa H. My sister put me in a Nursing Home and told me I “deserved to be dead”. My daughters brought me home. My sister put up surveillance cameras. I need God’s forgiveness. Protection. Mercy. New life. New good man. My two beautiful daughter’s forgiveness and no more shame. Pray God gives me a chance to do something amazing so my daughters will no longer be ashamed of me. Be proud. Lastly…pray for my friend Johnny Foster. Johnny’s been in contact and is considering a visit. I broke Johnny’s heart years ago when I met my now ex husband. Pray please Johnny has the courage to follow through with his plan to come to my home and maybe have lunch or dinner. Soon. I’m old. Pray please. Pray. Thank you for your prayers. Thank you God. Nina C Wilson. Oklahoma

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up Nina and every burden she carries. Heavenly Father, we know that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We stand in the gap for Nina, asking for Your mercy, healing, and restoration.

Lord, we first ask for Your complete healing over Nina’s mind and body. The damage caused by alcohol has brought physical and emotional pain, but we know that nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:27). We pray for full restoration of her brain, clarity of thought, and strength in her body. Father, we also ask for Your forgiveness to wash over her. You promise in 1 John 1:9 that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Nina has acknowledged her struggles, and we trust in Your unfailing love to lift her from this place of shame and guilt.

We rebuke the spirit of addiction that has held her captive. The Bible warns us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are to honor God with them. We pray for a supernatural deliverance from the chains of alcohol, that Nina would walk in freedom and sobriety by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Surround her with godly support, people who will encourage her, hold her accountable, and remind her of Your truth.

Father, we lift up Nina’s relationships, which have been deeply wounded. We pray for reconciliation with her sister, Lisa. The words spoken in anger and pain have caused division, but we know that love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8). Soften Lisa’s heart, Lord, and help her to see Nina through Your eyes. We also pray for Nina’s daughters, that they would find it in their hearts to forgive their mother. The shame and humiliation they have endured is heavy, but we trust in Your ability to restore what has been broken. Give Nina the opportunity to demonstrate Your redemptive power in her life, that her daughters may one day look at her and see a woman transformed by Your grace.

We also bring before You the desire for companionship. While we understand the longing for a new relationship, we encourage Nina to seek You first above all else (Matthew 6:33). If it is Your will, Lord, bring a godly man into her life, one who loves You and will honor her as Your daughter. But above all, let her find her worth and identity in You alone. We rebuke any spirit of loneliness or desperation, reminding Nina that You are her ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Regarding Johnny Foster, we pray for courage and wisdom. If it is Your will for their paths to cross again, give Johnny the boldness to follow through with his plans. Let this reunion be one of healing and closure, not of rekindled sin or temptation. Guard both of their hearts, Lord, and let Your will be done in their lives.

Nina, we want you to know that God has not forgotten you. He sees your pain, your regret, and your desire to change. The enemy may have meant this season for harm, but God can turn it around for good (Genesis 50:20). We encourage you to draw near to Him through prayer, reading His Word, and surrounding yourself with believers who can uplift you. The road to restoration is not easy, but it is possible with God.

We also want to gently address the mention of thanking God without explicitly acknowledging the name of Jesus. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, confessing your sins and inviting Him into your heart. This is the first and most important step toward true healing and transformation.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Nina, lifting up every broken piece of her life. We ask for Your healing touch over her mind, body, and spirit. Forgive her sins, Lord, and cleanse her from all unrighteousness. Break the chains of addiction and fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in freedom and sobriety.

Restore her relationships, Father. Soften the hearts of her sister and daughters, and give Nina the opportunity to demonstrate Your love and grace in her life. If it is Your will, bring a godly man into her life who will honor You and cherish her. Above all, draw her closer to You, that she may find her worth and identity in Christ alone.

Give Johnny the courage to follow through with his plans, and let this reunion be one of healing and closure. Protect both of their hearts, Lord, and let Your will be done.

We declare that Nina’s past does not define her future. You are the God of new beginnings, and we trust in Your power to turn her story around for Your glory. Surround her with Your love, peace, and protection, and let her experience the fullness of life that can only be found in You.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
