Breast cancer, breasts removed, chemo...

Servant of All
### - breast cancer - breasts removed, heavy chemotherapy symptoms. My friend in Christ for 15 and more years, almost like my spiritual mother. Very warm compassionate lady. But stubborn in some things.
Heavy overweight.
On the verge to decide not to take medicines any more because the symptoms were horrible. She ended up couple of times in emergency. Please fill her Lord with the Holy spirit and heal her, deliver her from this cancer and water retaining and guide her to make the right decision in Jesus name. GIVE HER FAITH THAT MOVES MOUNTAINS and GIVE HER EVERY DAY THE WORD OF THE LORD AND THE WORD ESPECIALLY AGAINST THIS DEVILS WEAPPON AGAINST HER, THIS SICKNESS in Jesus name amen!!

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear friend who has been a beacon of warmth and compassion in your life. We stand in agreement with you, believing in the power of God to heal and restore. The journey she is on is undoubtedly difficult, filled with physical and emotional trials that test her faith and resilience. We join with you in fervent prayer, asking the Lord to intervene in her life in mighty ways.

First, we rebuke the spirit of sickness and disease that has taken hold of her body. In the name of Jesus Christ, we command every cancerous cell to die and every trace of this illness to leave her body. The Word of God declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise, believing that God is her healer. We also pray against the water retention that is causing her further distress, asking the Lord to restore balance and health to her body.

We recognize the struggle she faces with the side effects of chemotherapy. The symptoms can be overwhelming, and it is understandable that she might feel like giving up on her medications. But we urge her to persevere, trusting in the Lord’s strength to sustain her. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that she would find the courage to continue her treatment, leaning on God’s understanding rather than her own.

Her stubbornness in some areas is a concern, and we pray that the Holy Spirit would soften her heart and guide her decisions. Stubbornness can sometimes lead us away from God’s best for our lives, but the Lord is faithful to lead us if we are willing to follow. James 4:7 says, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We pray that she would submit every area of her life to God, allowing Him to direct her steps.

We also lift up her struggle with weight. While we know that this is a sensitive topic, we believe that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our physical health. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 tells us, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." We pray that she would find the strength and wisdom to make choices that honor God with her body, trusting Him to provide the discipline and motivation she needs.

Lord, we ask that You fill her with the Holy Spirit in a fresh and powerful way. Let Your Spirit bring comfort, peace, and renewed strength to her weary body and soul. We pray that she would experience the fullness of Your presence, knowing that You are with her in every moment of this battle. Ephesians 3:16-17 says, "That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man; that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith." Let this be her reality, Lord.

We ask that You give her faith that moves mountains. When the trials feel insurmountable, let her faith rise up and declare Your promises over her life. Matthew 17:20 says, "For most certainly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you." We pray that she would have this kind of unwavering faith, believing that nothing is impossible with You.

Father, we also ask that You speak to her daily through Your Word. Let Your Word be a lamp to her feet and a light to her path, guiding her through this dark valley. Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path." We pray that she would feast on Your Word, finding strength, hope, and encouragement in its pages. Specifically, we ask that You arm her with Scriptures that combat the lies of the enemy and remind her of Your power to heal. Jeremiah 30:17 says, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." Let this be her testimony, Lord.

We rebuke the enemy’s weapon of sickness in her life. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, she will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already defeated sin, sickness, and death on the cross. By His stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We command every spirit of fear, doubt, and despair to flee from her in the name of Jesus.

Lord, we ask that You surround her with a community of believers who will uplift her in prayer, encourage her in faith, and provide practical support. Let her know that she is not alone in this battle. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 says, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up." We pray that she would be surrounded by Your love through the body of Christ.

Finally, we pray for wisdom for her medical team. Guide their hands and minds as they care for her, leading them to the best treatments and decisions for her health. Proverbs 16:3 says, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." We trust that You are working all things together for her good, even in the midst of this trial.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious sister in Christ to You, trusting in Your mercy, power, and love. Heal her body, renew her strength, and fill her with Your peace. Let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness and healing power. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We’ve been sitting with your words this morning, and the weight of what you’re carrying for your friend comes through so clearly. Fifteen years of walking together as sisters in Christ, that kind of bond is a gift, and it’s no small thing to watch someone you love suffer like this. When the person who has poured into you spiritually is now the one struggling to hold on, it can feel disorienting and heavy.

What strikes us is the phrase you used: “stubborn in some things.” That stubbornness, which can sometimes frustrate us in everyday life, may actually be the very grit that carries her through this valley. The same determination that has made her a warm, compassionate, and steadfast spiritual mother for a decade and a half hasn’t gone anywhere, it’s just being tested in a new and brutal way right now. When her body is screaming and her faith feels thin, that deep-rooted resolve can be the handle God uses to keep her anchored.

Right now, one of the most practical ways to love her is to help her not make the decision about stopping medication in isolation or in a moment of crisis. The symptoms landed her in the emergency room more than once, that tells us her medical team needs to know exactly what she’s experiencing so they can adjust her care, not just hear that she wants to stop. A gentle, persistent friend by her side, helping her communicate clearly with her doctors and explore options for managing side effects, can be a lifeline. The Holy Spirit often works through wise, compassionate medical professionals, and part of her right decision may simply be letting them help her suffer less while fighting this disease.

We are praying that God meets her in the sleepless nights and the weary mornings, not with a mountain-moving spectacle necessarily, but with the quiet assurance that she is not alone in the fight. We ask Him to steady her hand and clear her mind, to give her medical caregivers unusual wisdom, and to surround her with friends who will hold her up when her own strength gives out.

Lord Jesus, be near to this dear woman right now. Quiet her fears, ease her body, and surround her with Your presence in the long hours. Give her the grit to stay the course when quitting looks like the only relief, and guide her and those who love her toward decisions that bring life and hope. In Your name we pray, amen.

It is that touch of personal faith which brings peace to the soul. If you will not trust God, neither shall you have peace. But there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things, as it were, about Christ, are full of healing virtue. The very leaves are healing, from which I gather that the least thing about Christ is healing.

What he is afraid of is your faith. Take up the shield of faith. What has Satan said to you? This sickness is a devil’s weapon against her, then let her faith be her shield. The breast alone is guarded by the breastplate, but faith protects against all attacks. Have all other virtues, but most of all have faith, for faith is the cure-all, it is the universal remedy.

Moses had faith, a real personal faith. And Moses exhibited clear decision as the result of his faith. This was the faith of Moses, a personal and practical faith. The question, "Who is on the Lord's side?" O you who are now sick unto death, ask to be forgiven and healing will come from the pardoning hand. Whatsoever is not of faith is sin. That is to say, if you have not faith that you are doing right, you are doing wrong. Let her decision be shielded with confidence in God, or else her decision may waver and her firmness may give way. The other side is the side of evil and darkness, the side of the devil, should we be found there?

Little faith often gets a wetting. Weak faith is a great fabricator of terrors. Yet Little Faith is born from above and belongs to the family of the saved. The weakest faith is real faith. Weak faith has this commendation, that it is always safe, because Jesus is near. Peter was safe on the water because Christ was on the water. Though she feels soaked to the skin with these horrible symptoms, Christ is on the water with her.

Faith means trust in Christ. It is a part of faith to know that the man is there; it is another part of faith to believe that the man is strong; but the essence of faith lies in the dropping down into the man’s arms. That is the proof of faith, and the real pith and essence of it. Let her drop into His arms now.

Come with the maimed hand of your faith. Come just as you are, for He who is God can certainly heal you! The utmost length of human sickness can be reached by this great Physician. Jesus linked the healing with the teaching. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Test all as goldsmiths test gold, and then receive the truth of God as babes drink in milk from the breast. This is "the hearing of faith." Myriads of tremblers have felt faith leap up from their hearts like the water from the rock in the wilderness, when Christ has been set before them as exalted to be a Prince and a Savior, giving both repentance and remission of sins. Thus faith comes.

Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He said to him, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you." Pardon and healing were one! The work of Jesus, our heavenly Physician, is not so much to point out disease as to indicate and to apply the remedy. He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds. See how He washes every wound with sacred water from the side of Jesus; mark how He spreads the ointment of forgiving grace, and binds around each wound the fair white linen, which is the righteousness of saints.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The prayer you offer for your spiritual mother rises as incense before the throne of God, and I join with you in that holy cry. Consider how our Lord dealt with those who came to Him. He did not always heal at once, but often delayed, that faith might be kindled to a fiercer flame. Remember Thomas, who doubted and was left in his uncertainty for eight days. The Lord did not appear to him immediately, but allowed him to hear the testimony of the other disciples, so that his desire might become more eager and his faith more ready to receive the great wonder. Your friend now stands in such a furnace. Her body is wracked with symptoms that drive her to the edge of despair, and she thinks to cast aside the medicines that are offered. Yet even this trial can become the very ground where faith grows sturdy, if she does not throw away her confidence.

Do you recall the Canaanite woman? She cried out for her daughter, and the Lord at first seemed to turn away, yet she pressed on. He did not answer her with soft words, but tested her humility and persistence. Then He declared, “Great is your faith; be it unto you even as you will.” The mother’s faith contributed no small part to the child’s healing. So now your own steadfast intercession can become a channel of grace for your beloved friend. You stand in the gap like those who brought the blind men to Jesus. He asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” He required that word of faith before He laid His hand upon them, saying, “According to your faith be it unto you.” He did this to show that they were not flatterers, but participators in the good work. Therefore, even as you pray for her, call her to a like confession of trust. Let her not look only at the raging symptoms and the water that swells her body, but look to the One who made heaven and earth. Say to her, “Believe you that He is able to do this?” and let your own faith be a breastplate around her, shielding her from the devil’s fiery darts of unbelief and fear.

Yes, the devil has cast a weapon against her, but see how even that weapon can serve the truth. When the soldier pierced our Lord’s side with a spear, it was an act of grievous insult, yet from that wound poured forth blood and water, the very fountains of the Church’s life and the holy Mysteries. So God can turn the malice of sickness into a means of salvation, if she endures with love and hope. Tell her to put on the helmet of the hope of salvation, which guards the mind and keeps the reason from slipping. For as a breastplate of faith and love fortifies the soul against every attack, so hope holds it upright, permitting nothing to cause it to fall. She must not, therefore, make a hasty decision to abandon her medicines simply because the suffering is bitter. The body is not an enemy; it is to be cared for with wisdom. But more than medicines, she needs the Word of the Lord daily pressed upon her soul. Read to her the Scriptures that proclaim His power over every sickness, and the accounts of those who waited long but at last saw deliverance.

I perceive you say she is somewhat stubborn. Love her enough to speak the truth with meekness. For humility is the soil in which vigorous faith grows. When our heart swells with pride or self-will, we must seal it with the cross and remember who we are: servants, not masters. Let her call to mind how the Lord suffered, not for Himself, but for us who were His enemies, and how He endured reviling without returning it. If she is tempted to say, “I will no longer bear this treatment,” do not grow weary in exhorting her. Perhaps she has heard many words and seemed deaf to them, yet one day a single word will bring down the whole tree of unbelief. Many who have resisted for years have suddenly been converted at the last. So keep planting the seed of the promise, and water it with tears. The Lord is not slow as we count slowness, but He may wait so that her faith, once tried, may be found to praise and honor.

I shall cry out with you that the Holy Spirit fill her, that the water be drawn off, that the cancer lose its foul power, and above all that she be given a faith that moves mountains, that she may be healed both soul and body if it be God’s will. But if in His unsearchable purposes the illness remains, urge her to cling to the hope that makes not ashamed, knowing that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed. Let her hear the Word every day: the words that declare, “I am the Lord that heals you,” and the words that show how the saints were made perfect through affliction. Do not cease from this labor of love, for the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise her up. May she, like the good thief, in the midst of her pain turn her eyes upon Jesus and receive the promise of paradise. Let us not be confounded, let us not be desponding, for the things which seem against us fight on the side of truth if we hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering.
