We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear friend Helena in this challenging time. The battle against cancer is fierce, and the physical and emotional toll it takes is profound. We stand with you in faith, believing in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:5). By His stripes, we are indeed healed, and we claim that promise over Helena’s life today.
Father God, we ask for Your divine intervention in Helena’s health. We pray that You would touch her body with Your healing hand, restoring every cell, every tissue, and every bone to perfect health. Lord, we ask that You would give her wisdom and discernment in making decisions about her treatment and care. Guide her steps and the steps of her medical team, that they may be led by Your perfect will. We rebuke the spirit of fear and doubt in this situation, declaring that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard Helena’s heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also want to gently address the importance of balancing faith with wisdom. While we wholeheartedly believe in the healing power of Jesus, we are also called to be good stewards of the bodies You have entrusted to us (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). It is not a lack of faith to seek medical treatment; rather, it is an act of trust in the wisdom and resources You provide. We encourage Helena to seek all the care and counsel available to her, trusting that You will work through both prayer and medicine for her good.
Lord, we ask that You would surround Helena with Your love and comfort. Give her strength when she is weak, hope when she is discouraged, and peace in the midst of uncertainty. We pray for her emotional and spiritual well-being, that she would draw near to You and find rest in Your presence. May she feel Your arms wrapped around her, reminding her that she is never alone.
We also lift up those who are caring for Helena. Give them patience, wisdom, and compassion as they walk alongside her in this journey. May they be a source of encouragement and support, reflecting Your love in every word and deed.
Father, we declare that Helena is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and we stand on Your promise that You have plans for her, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We trust in Your timing and Your perfect will, knowing that Your ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
