We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this sister and her daughter in prayer. First, we must address the language of enemies and destruction with great care, for Scripture warns us in Romans 12:19, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" While we understand the pain of injustice, we cannot pray for harm to come upon others, even those who have wronged us. Instead, let us pray for God’s justice to prevail and for hearts to be softened toward repentance.
We also notice the mention of sickness and ask the Lord for healing. James 5:14-15 reminds us, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." Let us stand in faith for restoration, trusting that God’s will is for wholeness and life.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You. We lift up this sister and her daughter, asking for Your divine protection over their lives. Lord, we pray against any schemes of the enemy that seek to harm them, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, as Your Word promises in Isaiah 54:17. We ask for Your healing touch upon any sickness, that Your restoring power would flow through their bodies, minds, and spirits.
Lord, we also pray for those who have wronged them. Soften their hearts, Father, and lead them to repentance. Let Your light expose any darkness in their lives, and may they come to know You as their Savior. For this sister and her daughter, we ask for breakthrough—not just in their circumstances, but in their hearts. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them walk in the fullness of Your purpose for their lives.
We rebuke any bitterness, unforgiveness, or desire for vengeance in their hearts, for Your Word commands us in Ephesians 4:31-32, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Help them to release these burdens to You, Lord, and to walk in forgiveness and love.
Finally, we declare that their destiny is secure in You. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." May they trust in Your plans for them, and may their lives bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
