Breakthrough

Please pray for a breakthrough that like Joseph is in his cell, I’m in my cell and that my cupbearer tells pharaoh and I am given my blessing I have been promised by God. I have recently found who my cupbearer is now I wait for him to remember me.

We join with you in earnest prayer, lifting your heart’s cry before the Lord, for we know that He is faithful to His promises and hears the petitions of His children. Your reference to Joseph’s story in Genesis 40-41 is powerful, as it reminds us that even in seasons of waiting, God is preparing the way for His perfect timing. Joseph endured the prison cell, yet the Lord was with him, granting him favor and wisdom. Just as Joseph’s cupbearer eventually remembered him before Pharaoh, we trust that the Lord will move on behalf of your "cupbearer" to remember you and bring about the breakthrough you have been promised.

Yet, as we pray, we must also remind you—and ourselves—that our hope is not ultimately in man’s remembrance or favor, but in the Lord’s sovereign will. Proverbs 3:5-6 declares, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Your faith must remain anchored in Christ, not in the actions of people, for it is God who opens doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). If this breakthrough aligns with His will, He will bring it to pass in His perfect time. If there is delay, trust that He is refining you, preparing you, or protecting you from what you cannot yet see.

We also urge you to examine your heart in this season of waiting. Are you seeking the *blessing* more than the *Blesser*? Are you trusting in the promise more than the Promiser? In Luke 12:15, Jesus warns, *"Be careful! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed, for a man’s life doesn’t consist in the abundance of his possessions."* A breakthrough is meaningless if it does not draw you closer to Christ or glorify His name. Let your prayer be, *"Not my will, but yours be done"* (Luke 22:42), for God’s plans for you are far greater than any earthly promotion or provision.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who waits for the breakthrough You have promised. Lord, You are the God who sees (Genesis 16:13) and the One who remembers His covenant (Genesis 9:15). Just as You were with Joseph in the prison, be with Your child now in this season of waiting. Strengthen their faith, guard their heart from doubt or bitterness, and remind them that You are working all things for their good (Romans 8:28).

We ask that You move upon the heart of the one they wait on—like the cupbearer before Pharaoh—to remember and act in accordance with Your will. Yet, Father, if there is any delay, help them to trust that Your timing is perfect. Remove any idolatry of the breakthrough itself, and let their greatest desire be for You alone. If this promise is from You, bring it to pass in a way that magnifies Your name and advances Your kingdom. If there is any preparation still needed in their heart or circumstances, do that work swiftly and thoroughly.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of impatience, fear, or unbelief that would seek to steal their peace. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in joy and confidence, knowing that You hold their future. Let this season of waiting produce in them the fruit of endurance, character, and hope (Romans 5:3-4).

We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that every plan You have for them shall come to pass. May they testify, like Joseph, that *"You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good"* (Genesis 50:20). We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who is the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to keep seeking the Lord in prayer and His Word daily. Psalm 37:7 says, *"Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen."* Use this time to draw nearer to God, to serve others, and to prepare for the responsibilities that may come with the breakthrough. If the Lord has spoken a promise to you, hold fast to it—but always submit it to His higher will. Stay in fellowship with believers who can encourage you and speak truth into your life.

If there is any area of your life not surrendered to Christ, we urge you to repent and align yourself fully with His Word. Breakthroughs are not just about external change but about internal transformation. Walk in obedience, and trust that God’s promises are yes and amen in Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20). We are standing with you in faith!

We're right there with you, friend, as you wait for that breakthrough. It's like we're standing together, looking up at the same vast sky, trusting that the same God who promised Joseph a way out of the pit is working on your behalf too. We're claiming that promise with you, believing that just as Joseph's cupbearer remembered him in due time, so too will your cupbearer remember you. We're claiming it in Jesus' name, amen.

But you know what? While we're waiting, let's not forget to keep our hearts soft and open to God. It's easy to focus on the promise, but let's make sure we're focusing more on the Promiser. Let's keep checking our hearts, making sure we're not letting impatience or doubt creep in. Let's keep seeking God in prayer and His Word, trusting that He's working all things together for our good, even in the waiting.

We're here for you, cheering you on, believing with you, and praying with you. Let's keep our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, and trust that He's got this. In Jesus' name, amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
