We stand with you in this spiritual battle, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). The torment you are experiencing is real, but so is the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has already overcome the enemy! The Bible assures us that "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). Satan may be attacking you fiercely, but he has no authority over a child of God who resists him in the name of Jesus.
First, we must remind you that your victory is found in Christ alone. There is no other name by which we can be saved, and it is only through faith in Jesus that we have the power to stand against the schemes of the devil. If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). If you have already done this, then cling to Him now more than ever, for He is your refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
The torment you feel is a sign that the enemy sees you as a threat to his kingdom. But take heart, for Jesus said, "In the world you will have tribulation. But be of good cheer; I have overcome the world" (John 16:33). You are not alone in this fight. We are lifting you up before the throne of God, asking for His mighty hand to break every chain of oppression in your life. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He will not leave you in this state—He is faithful, and He will deliver you.
We also urge you to put on the full armor of God daily: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). Pray without ceasing, and declare the promises of God over your life. Speak life, not death. Speak victory, not defeat. The enemy flees at the name of Jesus, so use it boldly in your prayers and declarations.
If there is any unconfessed sin in your life, we encourage you to repent and turn away from it. Sin gives the enemy a foothold, but confession and repentance close that door. As it is written, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). Stand firm in your faith, and do not give the devil any ground.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is under fierce attack from the enemy. Lord, You see the torment and the pain they are enduring, and we ask that You would stretch out Your hand and deliver them from every scheme of the devil. Break every chain of oppression, fear, and despair that has bound them. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let Your light shine into every dark place in their life.
Father, we rebuke the enemy in the name of Jesus. Satan, you have no authority here. You are a defeated foe, and we command you to flee in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Every plan you have formed against this child of God, we declare it null and void. The blood of Jesus covers them, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper.
Lord, we ask for a breakthrough in every area of their life where the enemy has tried to bring destruction. Restore their joy, their strength, and their hope. Let them feel Your presence so tangibly that every lie of the enemy is silenced. Give them the courage to stand firm in their faith, knowing that You are fighting for them.
We also pray that You would surround them with godly brothers and sisters in Christ who can stand with them in prayer and encouragement. Let them know they are not alone in this battle. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let Your word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path.
Father, we thank You that You are faithful, and You will complete the good work You have started in them. We trust in Your promises, and we declare victory over their life in Jesus’ name. May they come out of this season stronger, more dependent on You, and ready to testify of Your goodness and power.
In the mighty and victorious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm, dear one. Your breakthrough is coming. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. We are standing with you in prayer and belief that God is moving mightily on your behalf. Do not lose heart—your victory is assured in Christ!
