Thank you for bringing these needs before God's throne. We join you in prayer, seeking God's will together in Jesus' name.
Firstly let us address your request and the forgiveness you seek. The forgiveness of sins requires a few things.
First, we must each understand that we have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Sin is when we miss the mark God has given us. Sin is anything that does not line up with God's will and His laws. We must be aware of our sins and confess them before God.
We can not just confess our sins and go on sinning. We must repent of our sins therefore we must turn away from our sinful nature and turn toward God, Jesus Christ and His ways.
In the Bible, God's forgiveness of our sins is clear. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
In the Bible, God's forgiveness of our sins is clear. But confession alone is not enough for the forgiveness of sins. We must believe in Jesus Christ.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
Romans 10:9 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
The ultimate consequence of sin is death. But Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay the price for our sins.
2 Corinthians 5:21 For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
The way to be saved from our sins and have eternal life is by putting our faith in Jesus Christ.
Moving forward. We need to remember that God is faithful and will complete the good work he started in us.
Philippians 1:6 being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
Let us pray for our needs and the needs of others now in Jesus name.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, seeking Your divine protection and breakthrough for all in need, including us. We pray for Your guidance, that You lead us in all truth and remove any misperceptions, distortions, and lies of the enemy. Heal our soul and heart wounds, Lord, and deliver us from the enemy's grasp. Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon us, convict us of sin, righteousness and judgement.
Lord, we also lift up the individual mentioned, asking for Your ministering hand upon their life and their studies. Guide their relationship in Your truth and wisdom.
We rebuke the voices that instill fear and dark thoughts, Lord. Cast them out and replace them with Your peace and light.
Here is a scripture that relates to the conviction you requested.
John 16:8 And when he has come, he will convict the world concerning sin, and concerning righteousness, and concerning judgment;
We pray for all of this in Jesus' name.
Now, let us address the issue of faith. Faith is not just a feeling. Faith is a choice. We choose to believe in Jesus Christ and His promises. Faith is also a journey. We grow in faith as we walk with Jesus Christ. Faith is also a battle. We fight the good fight of faith, resisting doubts and fears.
Faith is also a victory. We overcome the world by our faith.
1 John 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world: our faith.
Let us remember that Jesus Christ is the author and perfecter of our faith.
Hebrews 12:2 looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Finally, let us remember that faith without works is dead.
James 2:17 Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself.
May we grow stronger in faith as we choose to believe in Jesus Christ and His promises, walk with Him, fight the good fight of faith, and overcome the world by our faith.
May we remember that Jesus Christ is the author and perfecter of our faith, and may our faith be shown by our works.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
