We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, grieved by the spiritual attacks and ungodly schemes at work in this situation. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already overcome the world (John 16:33). First, we must address the foundational issues here with truth and clarity, for God’s Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105).
The relationship you describe as a "boyfriend" must be examined through the lens of Scripture. If this is not a marriage covenant before God—a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman—then it is not aligned with His design. The Bible clearly warns against sexual immorality, which includes fornication (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5). If this relationship involves physical intimacy outside of marriage, it is sin, and we urge you to repent and turn away from it, for "the body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord" (1 Corinthians 6:13). God’s design for intimacy is within the sacred bond of marriage (Hebrews 13:4), and anything outside of that is displeasing to Him. We encourage you to seek a godly courtship with the intent of marriage to a believer, or if already in sin, to repent and either marry or separate in obedience to Christ.
Additionally, the actions of this other man—seeking to manipulate and control through occult means—are deeply wicked. Witchcraft, curses, and attempts to manipulate others through spiritual means are detestable to God (Deuteronomy 18:10-12, Galatians 5:19-21). The fact that he has involved himself in such darkness should be a clear warning to stay far from him. Do not entertain his advances or seek his "connections" for work, for the Lord provides for His children (Philippians 4:19), and aligning with such evil will only bring more harm. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14).
As for the financial struggles, we reject the lie that this curse has power over you. The Bible tells us that "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us" (Galatians 3:13). No curse formed against you shall prosper if you are in Christ Jesus (Isaiah 54:17). The enemy may attack, but he cannot prevail unless we give him a foothold through sin or unbelief (Ephesians 4:27). We encourage you to examine your heart: Is there any unconfessed sin, bitterness, or idolatry (such as trusting in money or relationships more than God) that may be giving the enemy legal ground? Repent and turn fully to the Lord, for He is your Provider (Matthew 6:33).
Now, let us pray with authority and faith:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are sovereign over all things, including the schemes of the enemy. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness for any sin in this situation—whether it be fornication, idolatry, bitterness, or alignment with ungodly influences. Cleanse this dear one with the blood of Jesus and restore her to righteousness in You.
We bind and break every curse of separation that has been spoken or enacted against this relationship. If it is Your will for this man and woman to be united in a godly marriage, we pray for restoration, repentance, and a renewed commitment to You first. But if this relationship is not of You, Lord, we ask that You would sever it completely and redirect both hearts toward Your perfect will. Let there be no confusion—only clarity and obedience to Your Word.
We renounce and break every financial curse, every hex, every ungodly tie, and every demonic assignment against this sister’s finances. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command all spirits of poverty, lack, and manipulation to flee in Jesus’ name. Father, we declare that You are her Provider (Genesis 22:14), and we ask You to open doors of blessing that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Let her see Your faithfulness in supernatural ways, so that her trust is fully in You and not in the arm of flesh.
Lord, we also pray for protection over her heart and mind. Guard her from the snares of this wicked man who seeks to exploit her. Expose his deeds and let him reap what he has sown (Galatians 6:7). Surround her with godly counsel and believers who will speak truth into her life.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would draw her closer to You through this trial. Let her find her identity, worth, and security in Christ alone. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7) and lead her in the path of righteousness for Your name’s sake.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
Sister, we urge you to immerse yourself in the Word of God daily. Put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and stand firm in faith. Reject every lie of the enemy and declare the truth of Scripture over your life. Seek the Lord first, and trust Him to guide your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6). If you are not already walking closely with Him, we implore you to surrender your life fully to Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5). If you have not yet received Him as your Lord and Savior, we pray you would do so today—confess your sins, believe in His resurrection, and invite Him to rule your life (Romans 10:9-10).
Stay in prayer, stay in the Word, and trust that God is working all things for your good (Romans 8:28). He is faithful, and He will deliver you.
