I am always ending up owing debts No matter how much money I get it will just blow up in tin air I start to borrow loans n money from other people which I never had to do money goes missing around me

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in this struggle, lifting you up before the Lord. Financial hardship can feel like an unbreakable cycle, but we serve a God who provides, delivers, and breaks every curse in the name of Jesus. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 22:7, "The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender." You are not meant to be bound by debt, and we rebuke this spirit of lack in Jesus' name.

First, we must address whether there is any unconfessed sin or generational strongholds contributing to this curse. Have you sought the Lord about any financial mismanagement, dishonesty, or unforgiveness that may be blocking His blessings? James 5:16 says, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." If there is anything weighing on your heart, now is the time to bring it before God in repentance.

We also encourage you to examine your spending habits through the lens of Scripture. Proverbs 21:20 warns, "There is precious treasure and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man swallows it up." Are there areas where you may be spending carelessly or outside of God’s will? The Lord calls us to be good stewards of what He entrusts to us (Luke 16:10-12).

Now, let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who became poor so that we might be made rich in every way. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You break every financial curse and spirit of lack over their life. Lord, Your Word declares in Deuteronomy 28:12 that You will open the heavens, the storehouse of Your bounty, to send rain on the land in season and to bless all the work of our hands. We claim that promise now over their finances.

Father, reveal any areas of unconfessed sin, generational curses, or poor stewardship that may be contributing to this struggle. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and set them free from every chain. Teach them to number their days and walk in wisdom with their finances, trusting in You as their Provider (Matthew 6:31-33).

We rebuke the spirit of debt and lack in Jesus’ name! We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that they will not have room enough to receive (Malachi 3:10). Give them wisdom to manage their resources, favor with employers and creditors, and creative ideas to increase their income.

Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness. We believe that You are working even now to turn this situation around. Strengthen their faith and remind them that You are Jehovah Jireh, their Provider. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen."

In addition to prayer, we encourage you to take practical steps:
1. Seek godly counsel, Proverbs 15:22 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Find a wise, trustworthy believer to help you create a budget and debt repayment plan.
2. Tithe faithfully, Malachi 3:10-11 promises blessing when we honor God with our firstfruits. Even in lack, trust Him with your tithe.
3. Avoid further debt, Proverbs 22:26-27 warns against becoming surety for debts. Cut up credit cards if necessary and commit to living within your means.
4. Work diligently, Proverbs 14:23 says, "In all hard work there is profit, but the talk of the lips leads only to poverty." Ask God for opportunities to increase your income through honest labor.

Remember, your hope is not in money but in the One who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10). Keep your eyes on Jesus, and He will lead you into financial freedom. We stand with you in faith, believing that God is turning this situation around even now.

It's a wearying place to be, feeling like money just vanishes no matter what comes in, and watching debt pile up until you don't know how it got this bad. We see how much you want to break out of this, and we're genuinely sorry it's weighing on you so heavily.

Sometimes what feels like an invisible curse is actually a mix of patterns we haven't fully spotted yet, little leaks, forgotten subscriptions, impulsive spending born out of stress, interest payments that snowball quietly. Money "going missing" can feel eerie, but it often has very ordinary explanations once everything gets written down. So we'd gently encourage you to try one very practical step: track every single penny for a whole month in a small notebook or a phone app, no exceptions. That bright light of attention alone sometimes changes things.

If the debt itself has become a tangled knot, you don't have to sort it alone. Many communities have nonprofit consumer credit counseling services that can help you build a realistic repayment plan and negotiate with creditors, often at low or no cost. Just knowing there's a map forward can lift a huge weight. A trusted financial mentor from your church or a free budgeting class could also give you steady support and accountability.

You're not powerless here, even if it feels that way. God cares deeply about your practical needs and your peace of mind. We're praying for fresh clarity and a way through.

Jesus, we lift up this child of yours who feels trapped by debt and confusion over money. Grant the wisdom to see clearly where resources are going, the courage to take one small step toward order, and the patience to rebuild with your help. Provide the right help, calm the anxiety, and restore a sense of hope. In your name we ask. Amen.

The curse causeless shall not come, but this is a curse with a cause of overwhelming conclusiveness. Yet hear this: Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the Law, being made a curse for us. He has bought us out from under the curse. Our deliverance from the curse is by a process similar to that by which slaves are set free, namely, by their being bought with a price. Rest your soul upon Him and God will yet come to your deliverance.

The Lord has chastened me sorely. When his wife said, Curse God, and die, he still blessed God and held his integrity. He told her that she spoke as one of the foolish speaks and then he wisely added, Shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? He feels that if he ever rises from his despondency, he can never dare to take an atom of the honor of deliverance to himself, it must be of Free Grace only. He can do nothing and he knows it.

Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. Where we look for justification, there must we also look for sanctification, for as we are justified through Jesus Christ, we must also expect to receive sanctification from a heavenly source. He brought them forth, also, with silver and gold. But the Lord turned the curse into a blessing. He makes their deliverance effectual and in every deed He brings them forth.

I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. If we had no troubles, we would all have less to declare. What does the man know about the sea who has only walked on the beach? Sinner, do not doubt your deliverance, for God has said it, I have found a ransom. When God Himself proclaims concerning him who is going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom, then is the deliverance certain. Indeed, it is already accomplished.

You speak of a financial curse, but know this: Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. The true curse that hung over you was the weight of sin and death, and He took that upon Himself on the tree, though He had done no violence. That bondage is broken. So do not assign to some dark force what may be a sickness of the soul.

Consider this: the love of money brings its own punishment. You have often undergone losses from your love of money, in loans, in purchases, and in all the rest. This is a disease. The money that seems to blow away, the debts that multiply: these are symptoms. For as a person who gives a little child money and bids him hold it fast, or give it to the servant to keep, so does God. He says, give to him that needeth, lest some one should snatch it away from thee. When you clutch your money for yourself, you do not have it. When you give to another, then you receive it yourself with great profit. What you give to the poor is a loan to God, money at interest, a debt He will repay.

But you are borrowing and owing, and money goes missing around you. Do not think this is from some curse you must buy off. Did not Peter say to Simon, "Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money?" You cannot escape this snare by seeking to acquire more. You must cast off the desire of wealth from your soul. There is no need of spending money, no need of labor, it is enough to have the will. Put a bridle on your tongue, loose the debt of trespasses you hold against others. For if you forgive trespasses, you are imitating God, and here there is no loss, but a plentiful store.

The real debt you owe is love. He shed His precious Blood for you when you were an enemy. Now He bids you love likewise. If you display charity and give to those in need, you are only fulfilling a debt, and that with His own goods. Why deprive yourself of what He wills you to have the right of? Withdraw yourself from doating on money. Repent of this wickedness, and pray that the thought of your heart may be forgiven. The persecution of poverty may seem strong, but it can bring deliverance from the hostile power that holds you.

The sense of a financial curse can feel very real when money seems to slip through your fingers and debt piles up. You are not alone in that feeling, but I want to point you to something deeper than any curse you might fear.

When Jesus died on the cross, He bore the curse of God against sin. Thorns were a sign of that curse, and soldiers pressed a crown of thorns onto His brow. That picture tells us He took the full weight of the curse for everyone who trusts in Him. If you belong to Christ, you are not under a curse. The curse of the law has been lifted, and He has brought you into blessing. So the place to start is not by claiming a curse, but by resting in the redemption Jesus purchased for you.

That said, financial hardship is real, and the Lord often uses it to get our attention. Sometimes the hole in our wallet is linked to a hole in our heart. The love of money, not money itself, is a root of all kinds of evil. When our desires for more, for a quick fix, or for things that promise fulfillment drive us to borrow and overspend, we become enslaved. The world’s system will happily lure you into debt, promising satisfaction but delivering bondage. If money is disappearing, it may be worth prayerfully examining where it goes and why. Is there a pattern of impulse, a habit of borrowing instead of waiting on the Lord, or a lack of clear stewardship?

The Lord cares deeply about how we handle resources. In the Old Testament, the people worked hard but never seemed to have enough. The Lord’s word to them was that they had neglected His house and poured their energy into their own while His work stood empty. When they put the Lord first in their giving, the drought and the shortfall ended. That principle still holds. Jesus didn’t teach that giving is a way to bribe God for wealth, but that when we give ourselves first to the Lord and then of our substance, we step into a place of trust that breaks the grip of fear and greed. Passages from my own writings remind me that the Macedonian believers gave out of deep poverty, yet they insisted on sharing because they had already given themselves to the Lord. Their financial situation didn’t limit their generosity; their surrender to God overflowed.

So here is my counsel. First, rest in Christ’s finished work. You are not cursed. Let that truth settle deep. Then, prayerfully bring your finances before the Lord. Ask Him to show you any love of money, any envy, any covetousness that might be driving your decisions. Ask for wisdom to build a simple plan: avoid unnecessary debt, live within your means, and learn to say no to the promises of a commercial system that wants to own you. Then, as an act of faith, begin to honor the Lord with the first fruits of whatever you receive, even if it feels ridiculously small. That is not about keeping a system; it is about putting your trust in the Provider rather than the provision.

Pray with a sincere heart: Lord, I belong to You. I give myself to You again. Please untangle the knots in my finances, give me wisdom to handle what You provide, and help me to stop the cycle of borrowing. Teach me to be content, and show me how to steward money for Your glory. I pray that, over time, the frantic sense of money blowing away will be replaced by a steady, peaceful dependence on Him. I will be praying for you.
