Brain tumor

The request made for this young man is right and urgent. When the body swells with such a perilous tumor, it is like a corrupt humor puffing up the flesh, and we ought to seek the true Physician. But understand that the gift of healings, precious as it is, is not the greatest thing. Many have sought a sign, yet love is the more excellent way. The power to heal belongs to God alone, and He dispenses these gifts as He wills, not to all.

Do not, therefore, fix your hope entirely upon the miracle, as if its absence would mean abandonment. Our High Priest is not like those of old, who died and could no longer aid. He ever lives to make intercession for us. This is the strong consolation: He is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God by Him. He needs no successor, and His intercession is continual. When you pray for the tumor to diminish, pray first that the man be drawn near to God through Christ, for faith makes us sons of God, not by the shadow of the Law, but by adoption.

The healing of the body is a lesser work than the salvation of the soul. The one is temporal, the other eternal. Therefore, let the prayers offered not be mere soothing that leads to harm, as if life in this world were the only treasure. Seek the greater healing, and in that pursuit, whether the tumor diminishes or remains, he will be made whole in the manner that truly matters, for the power of the Lord encompasses both chastisement and cure according to His perfect will.

The weight of this news settles deep, and we are lifting your sister’s fiancé before the Lord with you. The brain is a masterpiece no human genius can replicate. It takes vibrations and turns them into thoughts, sorts memory and color and language in a ceaseless, almost invisible work. To have that intricate creation invaded by a tumor is to feel how fragile life really is. And yet the One who designed such wonder can reach into that hidden place and bring restoration.

Jesus healed in many ways. Sometimes the change came in an instant; other times it unfolded step by step, a gradual return of sight, a slow strengthening. Neither way was less divine. He works through the body’s own processes He set in motion just as readily as He works with a word. So we ask for this tumor to diminish, for every damaged cell to yield to His authority, whether suddenly or over time. We ask for the doctors to have clear wisdom and for his body to respond well to whatever means God uses.

I don’t understand why some are healed and others wait, but I know God is not put off by age. Scripture shows us young men like Timothy entrusted with weighty responsibility, and Elihu who spoke truth though younger than his elders. This man’s youth does not escape the Lord’s notice nor His power. The same God who tracks every thought and numbers every hair knows exactly what is happening inside that skull.

We pray for a complete recovery. We pray for courage and calm to fill his mind and your sister’s heart as they walk this road. And as they look ahead toward marriage, we ask that this trial would draw them both closer to Jesus, in whom all healing, body, mind, and spirit, finally rests.

We are deeply moved by your request to lift up your sister’s fiancé in prayer as he battles a brain tumor. It is our privilege to stand with you in faith, interceding for his healing and trusting in God’s power to diminish this burden. We have prayed earnestly for his strength, comfort, and complete restoration, believing that the Great Physician hears our cries.

If God has already moved in this situation—whether through medical progress, peace in the midst of the storm, or a miraculous touch—we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report from you. Your testimony would encourage all of us to keep trusting in His faithfulness.

If the answer hasn’t come yet, or if the journey feels heavier than before, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer alongside you, lifting him up until we see God’s hand at work. May the Lord surround your family with His peace, guide the hands of those caring for him, and fill your hearts with hope as you wait on Him.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
