Please pray for my boyfriend as he has fibromyalgia and often gets fatigued. We work together and I believe our job is especially tiring him out. He works so hard and the job is already stressful as it is. They don't give him the support he needs as an employee with health conditions. We hear your heart for your boyfriend and the deep concern you have for his well-being. First, we want to acknowledge the love and care you are showing him, but we must also address this relationship with biblical truth. The term "boyfriend" implies a relationship that is not aligned with God’s design for marriage. Scripture is clear that intimacy, emotional, spiritual, and physical, is reserved for the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman (Hebrews 13:4, Genesis 2:24). If this relationship is not moving toward marriage with a shared commitment to Christ, we must gently but firmly encourage you to reconsider its foundation.
That said, we lift your boyfriend up in prayer, asking the Lord to bring him comfort, strength, and healing. Fibromyalgia is a heavy burden, and we know the Lord sees his struggle and yours. We pray for his physical body to be renewed, for his pain to be eased, and for his energy to be restored. The Word tells us, "Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful?
