We lift up your boyfriend and his health concerns to the Lord with heavy hearts, praying earnestly for his total healing and restoration. The Word of God reminds us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We stand on this promise, believing that the Great Physician hears our cries and is able to bring wholeness to his body, mind, and spirit.
Father, we ask that You would surround him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Stress and anxiety can be so overwhelming, especially when battling health issues, but we pray that You would lift every burden from his shoulders. Help him to cast all his cares upon You, for You care for him (1 Peter 5:7). Strengthen him with Your might, Lord, so that he may not grow weary in this trial.
We also pray for his loved ones, that You would bless them with wisdom, patience, and compassion as they walk alongside him. May they be a source of encouragement and comfort, reflecting Your love in their words and actions. Keep them all safe under the shadow of Your wings, and fill their hearts with joy that comes from You alone.
However, we must address the nature of your relationship with this man. Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). The term "boyfriend" implies a relationship that is not yet bound by this holy commitment, and we must encourage you to prayerfully consider whether this relationship is honoring to God. If you are not married, we urge you to seek the Lord’s will for your future together, with the goal of entering into marriage as the only God-ordained context for romantic love and intimacy. Prayer has been offered for your boyfriend’s health, entreating the Lord to restore him fully and shield him from the stresses that aggravate his condition. The Great Physician still walks among us by His Spirit, for there is one sacred Fountain opened on Calvary, one tree whose leaves are for the healing of the nations. May those leaves drop their balm upon him even now, so that the fever of anxiety departs and strength returns. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ; not only His mighty acts, but the very hem of His garment overflows with virtue. The Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, and He can speak to this sickness as He did to the palsied man, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.”
Yet let not the prayer stop at the body. The deepest healing is the cure of the soul, and that comes not by a mere wish for temporal ease, but by the free grace that pardons sin through Christ alone. When Jesus healed, He forgave; pardon and health walked hand in hand. Urge your boyfriend to seek first the forgiveness that makes the whole man sound. If he lies humbly at God’s feet, resting everything upon sovereign mercy in Christ Jesus, his hope shall never fail him, and whatever the outcome of this earthly frame, eternal health is secured. His lovingkindness is better than life itself.

Our Lord, when He touched Peter’s wife’s mother, did not merely drive out the fever, He restored her instantly to perfect strength, needing no time to recover as human healing would require. Such is His power. I will pray that He grants this man similar mercy, if it serves his salvation.
Yet you also plead that no stress afflict him. What is stress but the weight of desires and cares not planted in God? A soul fixed on Christ finds peace even in affliction, for we enter heaven by disposition, not by ease of body. Do not imagine that physical health alone is wholeness. Christ healed the man on the Sabbath and made a whole man healthy, showing that true completeness is of the soul, not a partial mending of the flesh. Many who are sick become well in spirit, while the robust fall through neglect. Remember the rich man: his wealth and health did not keep him from torment, while Lazarus, lying in sores, was carried to Abraham’s bosom. He is not poor who lacks, but he who craves; he is not healthy who merely has no fever, but he whose heart is cured of sin.
What God permits is not despite but healing. This illness may be a call to examine the soul. Pray, then, not for an easy life alone, but that he and all his loved ones seek first the friendship of the Father, which belongs to those who keep His word. There is true safety and joy.
