Born again

Beloved of All
Thanks be to the god of Abraham and Jesus son of god our savior. I attended an outdoor worship service this morning. A Revival tent so to speak. The theme of the message was “ you must be born again “ I confess with much gratitude that I have been born again since 1988 but I appreciated being close to the savior through the prayers that went up. I experienced 2 water baptisms with much respect for the Holy Spirits presence. I recognize that we must be born of the Spirit and the Blood and am grateful for the Saint that introduced me to the Altar. I say with faith and truth that it must have been the blood that saved me. Thank god for Jesus and his sacrifice. I will forever reverence the savior and the father amen

We rejoice with you in the assurance of your salvation and the profound work of the Holy Spirit in your life since ###! Your gratitude for the blood of Jesus and the new birth is a beautiful testimony of God’s grace. The outdoor worship service and the theme of being born again must have been a powerful reminder of the foundation of our faith.

We are grateful that you experienced the presence of the Holy Spirit during the water baptisms, for baptism is a sacred act of obedience and a public declaration of our union with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection (Romans 6:3-4). It is a blessed moment when believers come together to celebrate the work of salvation in one another’s lives.

Your reverence for the Father and the Savior is deeply encouraging, for Jesus Himself said, “Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born of water and spirit, he can’t enter into God’s Kingdom” (John 3:5). The new birth is not merely a one-time event but the beginning of a lifelong journey of walking in the Spirit and growing in holiness.

We pray with you now, lifting your heart before the Lord:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the precious gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We praise You for the work You have done in this dear brother’s life, drawing him to the altar and sealing him with Your Holy Spirit. Lord, we ask that You continue to deepen his faith, strengthen his walk, and fill him afresh with Your Spirit. May he always cherish the blood of Jesus that cleanses from all sin and the new life that comes from being born again. Keep him steadfast in Your truth, rooted in Your Word, and bold in his witness for You. We pray that You would surround him with godly fellowship and use him mightily for Your glory. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

May the Lord continue to bless you with a heart that seeks after Him, a spirit that is sensitive to His leading, and a life that reflects the love and power of the gospel. Keep pressing into Him, for He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6).

I receive this message and prayer with gratitude amen

What a joy to read your testimony! We can almost feel the warmth of that outdoor service, the fresh air, the tent, and the gathering of hearts around the simplest and deepest truth: you must be born again. Hearing how you’ve treasured that reality since ###, and how the prayers that morning drew you close to the Savior, is a gift to us. It’s clear you hold a profound reverence for the blood of Jesus and the moving of the Holy Spirit, and that kind of grateful faith is contagious. Thank you for letting us celebrate with you.

There’s something about being in a place where the gospel is lifted up afresh that stirs our own longing to be nearer to Christ. The truth that you confessed, that it was the blood that saved you, is the anchor that never moves. You’ve lived with that anchor for decades, and we’re reminded today that salvation isn’t just a one-time event; it’s an ongoing stream of grace that keeps our hearts soft and thankful.

Lord Jesus, we thank you with our brother for the day he passed from death to life, and for every moment since when you’ve held him fast. Thank you for the sacrifice that speaks better than Abel’s, and for the Spirit who seals our belonging. Deepen his joy in you, and may his life continue to be a quiet, powerful witness to the power of being born again. We ask this in your precious name. Amen.

The voice of the blood of Jesus speaks better things than that of Abel, and I rejoice with you that this precious blood has cried out for your pardon, not for vengeance. You have rightly testified that it must have been the blood that saved you, for the blood of Jesus has prevalence to bless the sons of men, and when the Holy Spirit takes that blood and sprinkles it upon the conscience, then the soul knows itself to be saved and rejoices in pardon. This is the blessed work of the Spirit, without which Christ Crucified is of no practical value to us. The atonement can never save a single soul unless the blessed Spirit applies it to the heart.

You have spoken of being born again, and indeed, unless a man is born again from above, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Only that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. This new birth is the creation of the Holy Spirit, by whom the Lord Jesus quickens whomever He wills. The Spirit awakens the mental powers and gives to men capacities they never had before, transforming us by the renewing of our minds. I trust that the Spirit Himself bears witness with your spirit that you are a child of God, for if the Holy Spirit is bearing witness in your spirit, then you are truly born of God.

You have known something of that sacred anointing, that overshadowing of the Spirit in prayer and worship, and in the ordinances you have received. This is the Spirit of grace and of supplications, who helps our infirmities and makes intercession within us. When prayer is in the Holy Spirit, it is not born of the flesh, but is the cry of the new-born spirit quickened by divine power. May you continue to pray in the Holy Spirit, building up yourself on your most holy faith, and may every remembrance of the altar, the water, and the blood draw you nearer to the Savior and deeper into that intimate union with the Spirit, the Father, and the Son. To know the Lord Jesus is to have the Spirit of God, for by no other could the things of Christ be revealed to you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

What great joy to hear of the revival and of your own rebirth, which you say occurred many years ago yet remains fresh! For indeed, to be born again is a twofold wonder: it partakes of the water and of the Spirit, of the old covenant and the new, even as our Lord’s baptism joined the ministry of the prophet with the descent of the Dove. When you went down into those waters, it was a picture of death and resurrection, but more than a picture, a true regeneration. God did not merely patch up your fallen nature; He demolished the ruined house and built you anew by the Holy Ghost. You were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. This is a birth by grace, far nobler than the first birth which is from beneath. Do you see how Isaac, who came not by the order of nature but by promise, was preferred above Ishmael? So you, though once far off, are now a true child of Abraham through faith, for the birth after the flesh avails nothing compared to the birth according to the Spirit.

Let no one trouble you, then, if at times circumstances seem to contradict the promises, for it is God’s way to work through contraries, displaying His power in what appears unlikely. Now is still the acceptable time, now the day of salvation, not only for those who first believe, but for those who press on to lay hold of the crown. Cleave ever to the blood that has redeemed you, and reverence the Spirit who has sealed you. For that which is born of the Spirit is spirit, and such are you, called to an incorruptible inheritance.
