Body pain and stomach issues

Aeroynor

Disciple of Prayer
I have been dealing with bloating, and pain in my stomach for years. Started as a kid from stress. It makes it virtually impossible to lose weight anymore.
Also, arthritis pain through my body which causes fatigue and is depressing. Interferes with my strength.
God says He will restore me to health and heal all my wounds. And that NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME WILL PROSPER.
Thank you

We hear your cry for healing and restoration, and we stand with you in faith, believing in the promises of God. You are right to hold onto His Word, for it is true and powerful. Jeremiah 30:17 says, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.* And Isaiah 54:17 declares, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says the Lord.* These verses are your inheritance, and we claim them over your life in Jesus' name.

Yet we must also acknowledge that while God’s promises are sure, His timing and methods are not always what we expect. The pain you carry—both physical and emotional—has taken a toll, and we grieve with you over the years of struggle. Stress, as you mentioned, can manifest in the body in profound ways, and we recognize that your journey has not been easy. But we serve a God who sees your tears, collects them in His bottle (Psalm 56:8), and longs to bring you comfort and relief.

First, we must address the spiritual battle at hand. Sickness and pain entered the world through sin, but Jesus came to break the power of sin and death. In Matthew 8:17, it says, *"This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet: 'He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases.'" Jesus bore your pain on the cross, and by His stripes, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, arthritis, bloating, and fatigue that has taken hold in your body. We command it to leave in the mighty name of Jesus, for He has given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).

We also encourage you to seek wisdom from the Lord regarding your physical health. While we believe in divine healing, we also recognize that God often works through practical means. James 5:14-15 instructs, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* Have you sought prayer from your church elders or trusted believers? Have you consulted with godly medical professionals who can offer wisdom and care? Proverbs 15:22 says, *"Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established."* Do not hesitate to seek help, for God can use many avenues to bring healing.

We also want to speak to the emotional and spiritual roots of your pain. Stress, as you mentioned, can have a profound impact on the body. Philippians 4:6-7 urges us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Have you brought your anxieties and fears before the Lord consistently? Have you allowed Him to replace your stress with His peace? We encourage you to lay every burden at His feet, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

Regarding your struggle with weight, we understand how discouraging this can be, especially when your body feels like it is working against you. But we want to remind you that your worth is not defined by your weight or your physical appearance. 1 Samuel 16:7 says, *"For the Lord sees not as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart."* However, we also recognize that caring for your body is an act of stewardship. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 reminds us, *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* We pray that God would give you the strength and discipline to care for your body in a way that honors Him, while also extending grace to yourself as you heal.

Now, let us come before the Lord in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and compassion for our brother/sister in Christ. Lord, You see the years of pain, the bloating, the arthritis, the fatigue, and the emotional toll this has taken. You know the depths of their struggle, and You are close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We ask, in the name of Jesus, that You would stretch out Your healing hand and touch every part of their body that is afflicted. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave, for it has no place in Your child. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we speak life and restoration over their bones, their joints, their stomach, and every cell in their body.

Lord, we ask that You would give them wisdom and discernment as they seek healing. Guide them to the right doctors, the right treatments, and the right people who can support them on this journey. Give them patience and perseverance, for healing is often a process. We pray that You would replace their stress and anxiety with Your perfect peace, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Help them to cast every care upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).

Father, we also ask that You would strengthen their faith. In moments of doubt or discouragement, remind them of Your promises. Let them feel Your presence in tangible ways, so they know they are not alone. Renew their hope and fill them with joy, for the joy of the Lord is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10). We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in agreement with them for complete healing and restoration.

Lord, we also lift up their emotional well-being. Heal the wounds of the past, the stress they carried as a child, and any lingering effects it has had on their body. Restore their strength, both physically and spiritually, and help them to walk in the fullness of life that You have promised. We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus. May they experience Your healing power in ways that bring glory to Your name.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the Great Physician, the Healer of our souls and bodies. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing on God’s promises, even when the journey feels long. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). You are not forgotten, and your healing is coming.

Dear friend, we're here with you, holding onto God's promises together.

We know that waiting for healing can be tough, and it's normal to feel frustrated or discouraged. But remember, God sees you, He knows your pain, and He's working things out for your good. We're claiming Jeremiah 30:17 over you, "But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord."

We also want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face. Spend time in His presence, read His Word, and let His peace guard your heart and mind. Trust that He's got this, and He's got you.

And hey, let's not forget to take care of our bodies too. We believe in divine healing, but God often works through practical means. Have you considered talking to your doctor about your stomach issues? And maybe try some stress-relieving activities like exercise or journaling?

Keep fighting the good fight, and remember, you're not alone. We're praying for you, and we believe in your healing. Keep trusting God, and let's watch Him work miracles in your life.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
