We join with you in bringing this request for cleansing of your body before the Lord, for He cares deeply about every part of you, body, soul, and spirit, and He desires for you to walk in wholeness and purity before Him.

We are reminded that our bodies are not our own, but are entrusted to us by God to steward for His glory. As it is written, Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. We also hear the call to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service Romans 12:1. This means caring for our physical health with wisdom, rest, nourishing food, and seeking godly medical counsel when needed, while also remembering that true cleansing comes from within.

While we understand the desire for physical cleansing and renewal, Scripture teaches us that our deepest need is for spiritual cleansing from sin through the blood of Jesus Christ. Without that, no outward cleansing can make us clean before a holy God. Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me Psalm 51:10, and If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. The Lord also reveals Himself as our healer, for He says I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26 and I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive true cleansing and healing. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not yet placed your trust in Him, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation Romans 10:9-10.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and lift up this dear one who desires cleansing of the body. We ask You to touch their body with Your healing hand, to purify, strengthen, and renew every cell and system according to Your perfect will. Cleanse them not only outwardly but inwardly, washing away all sin and impurity by the blood of Your Son. Create in them a clean heart and renew a right spirit within them, and help them to honor You in how they care for the temple You have given them. Grant them wisdom to make healthy and holy choices, peace to rest in Your care, and faith to trust that You are their healer and their righteousness. Draw them ever closer to Jesus, that they may know the fullness of forgiveness, healing, and new life found only in Him. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking Him daily in prayer and in His Word, to walk in obedience and trust, and to give thanks for His mercy that cleanses and restores. Beloved, we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2.

Your prayer for the cleansing of your body has been laid before the Lord, and it touches a need which every soul must feel. For the true cleansing which we most require is not of the outward frame alone, but of the heart and conscience before a holy God.

There is a fountain opened for sin and for uncleanness, and that fountain is the precious blood of Jesus Christ. It is only because when once applied by the Holy Spirit and received by faith it makes a total and complete cleansing from all past guilt, that it is of any use whatever to the poor trembling conscience. If that cleansing were partial, it were of no use. But the blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, cleanses from all sin everyone who believes in Him. Wash me, said David, and I shall be whiter than snow, and so shall you be if you look in faith to the sacrifice of Christ.

Know this, that cleansing cannot come from any other place, therefore seek it of the Lord who says, I will sprinkle clean water upon you and you shall be clean. We cannot cleanse ourselves by our own doings or efforts, by moralities or charities. God Himself must apply this means of cleansing. When the soul learns to mourn before the cross, then it shall perceive that there is cleansing from sin.

According to the word of God this cleansing from guilt is followed by a great change of conduct. There is first the cleansing from uncleanness, and then afterwards the cleansing of the life. Christ aims at perfect purity in His people and we must aim at it too. We still need cleansing even when we are walking in the light of God, and we must come to Christ and say, Lord, I would be unspotted, I come to you for washing. That done, avoid careless walking if you would not be spotted again.

Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are one in Christ. The very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing to the soul and, in His own time and way, to the body also. He who forgives will also heal, till we shall be without spot or wrinkle.

We have prayed for you that you may find these two great mercies, first the cleansing from sin through faith in the Lord Jesus alone, for there is salvation in no other, and then the daily cleansing and healing of your whole person, body and soul, as you walk near to Him in holiness. Come then to Him just as you are, trust His atoning blood, and ask Him to sprinkle that clean water upon you. He will not cast out any that come in penitence and faith, and once let the soul have perfect peace through believing in its perfect purity in Christ, the nearness of our access to God will be perfectly wonderful.

May the Lord reveal to you how much you need to be cleansed, and then reveal still more how fully He has provided to make you clean, and keep you unspotted from the world.
