We join with you in prayer for your blood pressure to come down and remain stable, and we thank you for asking in the precious name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the Father.

We know that our bodies are fearfully and wonderfully made and that God cares about every detail of our health. We are reminded in 3 John 1:2 that we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. And in Psalm 103:2-3 we are encouraged to praise Yahweh who forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases. We take comfort also in Philippians 4:6-7 which tells us in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We also remember that our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit as taught in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, and we are called to steward it well while trusting the Lord as our ultimate healer and sustainer.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know the concern over blood pressure and the desire for stability and health. We ask for Your healing hand to rest upon this body, to calm the heart, to steady the pressure, and to bring peace to the mind and spirit. We ask that You would give wisdom to doctors and caregivers, and guide in any treatment, diet, rest, and daily habits that would honor You and support health. We pray against anxiety and fear, and we ask for Your peace to reign. We trust Your promise in Isaiah 41:10 not to be afraid for You are with us, and we ask that You strengthen and uphold this one with Your righteous right hand. Let this health be restored for Your glory and for continued service to You. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek wise medical counsel and to be faithful in following the guidance given, while also resting in the Lord, getting adequate rest, walking in moderation, eating wisely, and casting every care upon Him because He cares for you as shown in 1 Peter 5:7. Keep bringing this need before Him daily with thanksgiving, trusting that He hears and that He is at work for your good.

Your request has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord. We are praying that your blood pressure would come down and remain stable, and that the Lord would grant you peace and strength in body and soul as you look to Him.

We are reminded that there is one great Physician who lays His hands on men and they are restored, and one Tree of Life whose healing leaves change the life blood and keep the soul of the believer in health. There is but one sacred Fountain opened on Calvary, and we look to Jesus alone for pardon and for healing. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon His people with healing in His wings, pardon and healing are one in His gracious hand.

Let us pray together. Gracious Father, we thank You that You hear those who call upon You in the name of Jesus. We bring this need before You now and ask in that precious name that You would lay Your healing hand upon this dear soul, that You would calm the body, steady the heart, and cause blood pressure to come down and to remain stable. Grant wisdom to those who give medical care, grant rest and quiet trust, and let the healing virtue of Your grace work health within. We ask this not for any merit in ourselves, but through the blood once shed for many for the remission of sin, even Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to wait upon the Lord and to follow the wise counsel of your physician, trusting the Lord to keep you day by day. We will keep praying with you, that the Lord who has begun to heal will keep you in His care till you are in perfect health forever with Him.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind.
