Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing this request and for inviting prayer in Jesus name. We have prayed for you, asking the Lord to bring your blood pressure down and to keep it stable in the days ahead.
Scripture teaches that the life of the body is in the blood, and that God Himself gave blood a sacred purpose on the altar to make atonement for the soul. That is why there is such reverence for blood in the Bible, even the blood of animals under the old covenant. It was all pointing to something greater, the blood of Jesus Christ. Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin, and Jesus did not enter heaven with the blood of bulls and goats, but with His own blood, once for all, having obtained eternal redemption for us. When God said, when I see the blood I will pass over you, He was showing that our only hope of salvation and protection is through that blood.
How much more then does God understand and value your blood and your body, which He created and sustains. He knows the pressure and strain you feel, and He cares about your health. The same Jesus who shed His blood for our souls also showed His power to heal our bodies, bearing our sicknesses and infirmities as Isaiah foretold, and healing many who were brought to Him.
We are asking the Lord to grant you physical steadiness and peace, to calm your heart and body, and to give wisdom to any doctors or others caring for you. We pray He will help you to rest in His care, to walk in wise stewardship of your health, and to know His nearness and strength each day.
May the Lord keep you under the covering of the blood of Jesus, give you peace that quiets both heart and body, and establish your health according to His gracious will. We trust Him with you and continue to lift you before Him in Jesus name, amen.
